Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with Vision Teaching – avoid

I had a very poor experience with Vision Teaching and would strongly advise others to think twice before registering.

The main issue was a pay discrepancy. I agreed a daily rate of £170, which was understood to be the amount I would receive, as is standard with other agencies I’ve worked with. However, when I was paid, deductions had been applied which reduced my take-home to around £140/day. This was never clearly explained or agreed beforehand and feels very misleading. I would not have accepted the work at that rate.

Communication was also frustrating throughout. I was repeatedly passed between different people without getting clear answers, and response times were slow when trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward issue.

Overall, there was a clear lack of transparency around pay and poor communication, which made this a very negative experience. There are far better agencies out there who are upfront, responsive, and honour agreed rates.

I would strongly recommend avoiding Vision Teaching.

A recommended agency!

I’ve had a really positive experience with Vision Teaching. Craig has been a great support in handling my enquiries and helping with form filling. He also took the time to set up a Teams meeting to go through everything with me, which made the whole process much easier.

Everyone at Vision Teaching is friendly, approachable, and professional, which makes working with them a pleasure. I’ve consistently felt supported and valued.

I often recommend Vision Teaching to others in the education field, and even one of my family members has worked with them and had a great experience as well.

Megan Coveley was so helpful!!

I joined Vision Teaching during spring summer 2025. I was put in touch with a recruitment consultant named Megan Coveley who went above and beyond to help me find work. She was so helpful and friendly and always went the extra mile for me.

Sent to a false interview

I was invited to attend what I was told would be an interview for a teaching position. After a long journey, it turned out to be just a short informal chat and a brief look around, and the role itself was not what had been described to me beforehand. The information provided was inaccurate, which ended up wasting my time and travel expenses.

The overall communication and support were disappointing. There was a lack of clarity about available roles and opportunities, and despite following up, I was never offered any work.

Based on this experience, I came away feeling undervalued and unsupported, and I would not recommend this service to anyone seeking a professional and transparent recruitment process.
