I used viagogo to sell my tickets and…

I used Viagogo to sell my tickets, and unfortunately, a fraudulent buyer purchased my ticket and then claimed there was a problem with it. Viagogo accepted the buyer’s claim without carrying out any proper checks and told me that I would not receive my money.

This is extremely ridiculous and unfair. I know for a fact that the ticket I provided was legitimate. It appears that the buyer used the ticket and then abused the system by making a false claim. Unfortunately, because Viagogo does nothing to properly protect sellers, I am the one left to pay the consequences and lose my money.

Now Viagogo is also telling me that I may be charged, despite having no proof that I did anything wrong. I know 100% that the ticket I sold was legitimate, and I the buyer is attempting to commit fraud.

This has been an extremely frustrating and unfair experience. Viagogo should properly investigate these claims and protect sellers from fraudulent buyers instead of automatically taking the buyer’s side without evidence.

First time user of Viagogo

First time user of Viagogo

When The Weeknd announced that he was touring and doing dates at Wembley, my teenage daughter was so excited. However, due to dynamic pricing on the official website which drives up prices from scalpers buying all the tickets, these quickly became unaffordable.

As the event dates approached, my daughter was checking for tickets every day, and it got to a point where tickets were back to near face value via Viagogo, so I relented and signed up to the site.

We paid just over £330 for two tickets a few days before the gig, then booked parking seperately via another site.

I logged back into my account and checked the 'My Tickets' tab, and it said that they would soon be available, and was awaiting the seller to send them.
Nothing for a couple of days, and checking the site I got messages saying 'not to worry' and my tickets were 'fully guaranteed', with offers of a replacement or refund (although this wouldn't include pre paid parking or travel to the event).

The day before the event, I had a message apologising for the delay, but asking me to confirm full names and a contact number for the attendees.
The morning of the gig I woke up at 0600 worrying, and upon checking it still said awaiting delivery, but are due today.
This later updated to delivery by 1600, just before gate opening.
We travelled to the venue on the hope and promise of getting the tickets, but my daughter was nearly in tears worrying that they wouldn't arrive, and I was questioning if I had been scammed.

However, at 1100 that morning, the tickets did indeed arrive, and we had a great evening at the event.

So, overall I would recommend them, but more so if you like to live life on the edge. We did get our tickets, however it was a stressful wait.

My Experience Selling Tickets for India…

My Experience Selling Tickets for India vs England at Bristol.
I placed the ticket with the Company and having read a review decided half an hour later that I wanted to place elsewhere with a more honorable company. My ticket was at no time listed but Via gogo charged me £61 for the withdrawal
Despite 2 appeals and the T's and C's saying duplicate listings (including those from third-party or POS systems) can lead to cancellations and penalties if both sell. See Section 9.4.
Mine did not sell but this Clause was still quoted.
Needless to say I will not use them again.

Buying tickets with viagogo was a nightmare

Buying tickets with viagogo was a nightmare. First, we received wrong tickets. Then they offered me 10% refund only if I don't accept the tickets. Meanwhile, the team confirmed that they will charge seller full amount for the tickets that were not delivered to me but I will get punished and get only 10% while they keep the rest for the tickets I didn't received. They even suggested to accept the wrong tickets and sell them in front of the venue and get the money back !?!

New seats that they offered were at the completely opposite side than the tickets my minor had and they wouldn't be allowed at the venue without me so that was not an option.

Customer service agent hung up on me but later I received email that seller will send me the tickets that I purchased in 2 hours.
4 hours later tickets still didn't arrive. Customer support was convincing me everything will be ok. I was at the venue, event already starting and trying to get help from the support team and sending them proofs that tickets didn't arrive.
At the end, me and my kid couldn't get in since I never received the tickets.
We travelled far away to be at this event and bought the tickets months in advance. The whole trip was big financial loss and frustration since viagogo didn't deliver or help in any way but with the empty promises,
They offered full refund but again nothing is happening except endless chatting with the bots and asking again for the proof that the tickets were not delivered.

This company is a scam. Unprofessional and unreliable. Fun Protection Guarantee that they promote is non existing.

Easy transfer process once the tickets…

Easy transfer process once the tickets were released. I do find it difficult the tickets are not sent until very last minute, even though they were booked nearly a year ago. I'm sure there is a reason however it is not made very clear why!
Once I had the confirmation email however it was an easy process to get them into my ticketmaster account and then use them.

Booked tickets over a month before the…

Booked tickets over a month before the event and tickets can arrive up to 3 hours before the event which is not good if you it takes you over 3 hours to get to the event! Tickets were from Ticketmaster therefore don’t understand why you would receive the tickets so late! Luckily I received early hours on the day of the event, which was a weird time I must admit. This delay prevented any planning until the last minute- not great at all!

I wish I had read the reviews about this site before buying the tickets! We paid far higher than the original price for the tickets. They were only emailed to me 3 hours before the performance and they were not the seats I paid for! A really poor experience. I will not be using them again

Glorious Sunday

I bought tickets for the Sunday of Tomorrowland. I was is bit sceptic and wanted to be sure that I could enter.
With 2 chats the sceptic was gone, and I got access to Tomorrowland.
My son had the most wonderful day with his first festival.
