Staff were all so friendly, patient and understanding. The vets looking after our cat, Kelly and Siobhan, were excellent at their job and experts in their field. We can’t thank you all enough.

Pet Care Advice
Customer Hub
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The vet herself along with the receptionist were extremely professional, helpful and kind. The service was exemplary and carried out very efficiently.
However, in the first instance the call handler added significantly to our upset and caused real anguish. They could not get past how expensive the treatment was going to be. Asked several times if the animal was insured, are you the policy holder, spell the name, the address, spell it. The initial part of the phone call was extremely poorly handled and a concern will be raised regarding this. Also, it took three phone calls, selecting the emergency option to have the call handler answer the call.

Had to phone as my wee dog was vomiting and was told to come down and was told that I had make a payment of 288 before she would be seen then another payment after being seen, took all my insurance papers as was told they would deal with my claim on my behalf etc my partner explained that she needed an antibiotic and anti sickness but was that she would have high temperature in order to give an antibiotic yes temperature high no antibiotic the bill was 345 odds then on boxing day I got demanding emails and texts to pay the bill but they claim they automatically send out funny how no other companies over Xmas Sent out emails etc...phoned there customer services 4 times today and now I've to fill In my own claim form for them even they they are charging me 25pds admin fee for doing there job seemingly they only do your insurance clai if you are a regular patient mon to Fri in working hrs not for emergency cover which is a cheek staff spoke down to you and in fact the lady at the picked up a poo put it in poo bin outside then came and spoke with me and touched my phone and from someone who suffers severe ocd point it was extremely distressing .all in they weren't very understanding, unhelpful and iam paying them mega money for being shabby and unprofessional towards me,my wife and pet and now I have the anxiety of form filling and demanding emails and texts for money.god help any poor person who can't or hasn't the money to pay for this service no wonder people are hanging dogs into dogs trust etc when you have charlatans like these vets shocking the way they treat you like a cash dispenser then hound you like a loan shark....its all about the money with these people the care no happens and its about time the government started having control over them maybe they would be less abandoned pets going about

An unfortunate family member was in the unfortunate position of having to release family pet from suffering during out of hours. Having had to endure the loss of "family member", all staff could do after outrageous bill was paid, was try to extort cremation fees from owner with no explanation of how, or what procedure entailed. 2 days later still trying to do the same.

Vet totally mis diagnosed my kitten, didn’t really listen to what I was telling him sent us home saying my kitten had been bitten by another animal and gave him an antibiotic injection, if I hadn’t gone with my gut knowing something wasn’t right and taken him to our own vet the next morning he would have died. Poor wee thing had a head trauma and swelling of the brain, would not recommend this vet at all, £325 for absolutely nothing I will be pursuing this matter further
