Very slow to refund money from a…

Very slow to refund money from a returned item ! I am still waiting for my refund!

Hello

Your refund was issued shortly after receiving and processing the return a few days ago, however the time frame from this point to your bank account is in the hands of your bank and out of our control. With the Easter weekend directly after the return was received, I can only assume your bank will show the refund in your account after and that has caused extra delay.

As we explained above this is beyond our control, so we are saddened to get such a bad review on this basis.

Order arrived quickly

Order arrived quickly. Return process is quick and easy (I only returned as I ordered several items for choice, one of which I kept). Will definitely order from Vestry again.

Great selection of item, clothing was a great fit , good notification through each stage of the delivery process and much better using Royal Mail as the courier.

My dress arrived this morning and I absolutely love it ❤️
It’s way better than I expected - the material is lovely and it feels expensive - not sure what I was expecting but it’s exceeded my expectations I’ll be ordering again and would recommend this company to others 👍 can’t wait to wear it to my nephews wedding in Cyprus this summer

Very happy customer

Ordered 1 dress that rrp was £70 on sale at £14 so didnt expect much. Then saw another 3 dresses so for the price thought id get those too. Wanted to add to the 1st order and thought I could amend since it was only 15-20mins earlier but received a msg saying I cant amend. I refused to pay an additional £4 delivery charge so said id leave the 2nd order in that case. Then a lady emailed me apologising and said if I place the 2nd order she would ensure one of the del charges was refunded. She then said it looked like the items I ordered were party dresses and I may want to wear them for NYE so she would actually be processing them for no charge to arrive nxt day delivery. The dresses came and ALL were very good quality so kept them all which was enexpected and all fitted perfect. I didnt actually order them for NYE but ended up spolit for choice for 3 new outfits. Bargain! Great service and great outfits, happy customer..would recommend

I ordered this dress as a second choice…

I ordered this dress as a second choice as my first was out of stock in my size. Although the quality is not great, it feels a bit "cheap", it looks really good on. The sizing is good. I was happy with my choice. However, I have never worn an all sequin dress before so maybe this is me being naïve, but I did not expect it to be so uncomfortable. The sequins under the arms cut me to ribbons. In the end, I had to walk around with napkins under my arms just to stop the constant rubbing. Not a great look at a Christmas party. Although the dress looked lovely, I can never wear it again nor can I give it away.

poor refund

I bought 2 items.. a necklace for £20... and a jumpsuit for £35.. I paid £5 for next day delivery.. but I also had £5 off as a new customer.. the jumpsuit was nothing like the picture.. and was too small.. so I returned it.. to only receive £28 from a £35 jumpsuit.

To clarify specifically on your order, you had a 10% off discount which applied to both items. The jumpsuit was £35 but with your 10% discount you paid £31.50, not £35 as you stated above, the return was £3, leaving a refund to you of £28.50 for the returned jumpsuit.

It would appear you have misunderstood your refund calculation.

I hope in light of the above you will see there has been nothing inconsistent with our returns policy or your order and would remove the 1 star review you have left for us.

Hi your order was placed on the 26th after 10pm, which was a Friday and you chose the UK standard tracked option not the next day service.

As a result this shipped on time as advertised on Monday, which was Cyber Monday, the busiest of the year and was still delivered by the 2nd within our estimated time frames for that service as shown here from the tracking https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/tracking-results/JD816900406GB

If you had raised a ticket on our help desk we could have helped update you if you had trouble finding the tracking information that Royal Mail messages you or that we provide by email.

We are very disappointed to receive a 1 star review for dispatching an order and delivering it within the time frame we advertise. We are unsure what more we could have done in this instance, we kindly ask you take down the review given the above as we don't feel it is an accurate reflection of the service you paid for and received.

Bending rules to avoid refunding outbound postage

Under Distance Selling Regulations if you return a full order the customer is refunded the outbound postage. However, these crafty devils have called their delivery fee a 'delivery subscription service' and they have then gone on to put in their t and c's that the 'delivery subscription service' is none refundable. So your delivery fee folks is now none refundable.
The 'delivery subscription service' is really pushing the definition of what a subscription service actually is as in this case the fee is only charged when a purchase is made - so technically just a delivery fee and not a subscription. Just a clever way of getting round it. Not a particularly open and honest way to trade. Other than that, delivery was fast and returns processed promptly.
