Fantastic way to find bargains on good quality brands. The delivery times are long, but as long as it's not urgent it's worth the wait !

Never had an issue returning anything either - even once when the parcel got lost in the post, veepee processed the refund anyway which was great customer service!

Great website easy to use.
Great selection of brands.
You do have to wait a few weeks for delivery.
Products are well wrapped and arrive in great condition

I have been a loyal member of vente-privee since 2008 l. I have two children both boy and girl age 15 and 17.
I have brought my children and myself clothing from this site over the year, because I trust there site and majority of their clothes have been of excellent quality. I have no reason to be concerned while browsing through this site, purchasing and transaction being made. I found vente-privee very realiableand I am sure for other customers too.

I was truly shocked when I received the email regarding the end of Vente-privee in the UK.
This is the first time I have ever done a review, just because vente-privee have a special place in my heart.

Great Product but this company now has no LOCAL return for UK customers.

We all know that buying clothes online is risky. Brands don't follow the same sizing guides so a size 10 in one brand could be a size 12 in another. Which means a high rate of returns when selling online. For this reason I feel businesses selling internationally (Especially when they are so large: Veepee have 72 Million customers!!) Should make provisions for local returns in the markets they sell to. Either that or have already negotiated preferential rates with curriers in those markets.

Returns are to France via Royal Mail a typical under 2 kilo package are be £12. Thats if you take the product out of the absurdly large box it was delivered in and repack it into one a quarter of the size.

Ship back in the same box Veepee sent it to you with and Royal Mail will double that.

For a company who claims to be at the forefront of eCommerce this casts shade on their great product offering. I will stop using them now after being a customer for many years.

great offers and reliable delivery , who could ask for more?

Veepee has a good range of products. Unfortunately this is ruined by their returns issues and the length of time it takes to deliver an order. My friends will not consider using the site because they have seen the problems I encounter with Veepee.

Customer service is helpful but the company seem intent in complicating the simplest of issues. Such a shame.

Provide a copy of your passport to get refund
I refused to send them my passport to get a refund. I think it's totally unreasonable for any company to ask for sensitive personal information like that to refund for money they owe.

Ordered from them for years but they have become really bad. After over 4 weeks of receiving their product back they don't refund you when you send them proof of posting and proof of signature they receive it.

I asked my credit card to step in to get my money back.

Superb discounted brands. Only issue after order acknowledgement heard nothing until emailed by delivery couriers. Perhaps would of been ‘nice’ to know dispatch had actually taken place.

I have twice encountered problems with delivery, and every time Vente-privee refunded me without fuss and delay. These experiences gave me the confidence in it as a reliable online retailer, and made me return to the site.

The vente-privee also introduces a lot of European brands and products you don't normally see on the British high street (especially outside London). So, I very much like the discovery aspect of my shopping experience.
