The new Vax Maxclean did a wonderful job sprucing up my five year old carpet what a transformation to the original colour. The machine is well designed and easy to use and the user guide is very clear to follow .

I have purchased the vax home pro cordless cleaner in July 2026 when it was on offer. This review is purely on the product as I have several other products like carpet cleaners and hoovers as well as positive experiences with customer services. This purchase was to replace a Dyson stick hoover DC58 which was quite old. The Vax is the poorest stick hoover I have had the suction is no better and probably inferior to a 10 year old stick hoover and the battery time is no better. To be honest I wish I hadn’t thrown away the box as I should have returned it.

I am really pleased with my cordless hoover so far; it works great. I had difficulty with the delivery, but that was more with DPD than VAX. VAX's customer service was actually helpful and good.

This is my second Vax floor cleaner I also have the smaller spot cleaner.
I found they work effectively leaving my carpets clean and refreshed.

Very disappointed to have my One PWR battery fail just 50 days out of the warranty period and be pointed towards a replacement at £63 as the resolution. As I own both a Glide and a Blade it’s even more disappointing that my brand loyalty appears to count for nothing.

Great service and easy website

Corded vacuum is heavier than a rechargeable but is so much more efficient, less emptying or breaks for recharging. Ordering online and next day delivery were excellent.

This is the second Vacs vacuum cleaner I have brought. Would highly recommend them.

Easy to order online and quick delivery. Can see a few enhancements/modifications from previous models mainly to do with the cord clip. Not sure yet how sturdy the handle will be but, having bought direct from VAX it has a 5 year warranty so should be fine. The suction power, even on the minimum setting without using the brush bar, is very impressive.
