Vamos travel run by Brett and Russ is an amazing hands on company. We had a fantastic experience with this travel company. From start to finish, the team were incredibly supportive, attentive, and professional.
What really stood out was their excellent understanding of the local market and destination. They clearly knew the location inside and out and were able to provide valuable advice and recommendations that made the whole experience feel seamless and well organised.

They genuinely listened to our needs, were always available to help, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service made a real difference. I would definitely be using this company for future trips.

Very professional and friendly service, excellent price/quality. Our trip to Namibia was tailor made, and each step was perfect. We have booked more than 10 trips with Vamonos in different parts of the world, at first without kids and later on with, and we have never been disappointed! New is the Travelkey app in which you will find all your personal travel details, very handy :)

A wonderful trip to Prague for opera lovers. Excellent hotel, good opera, guided tour of City, boat trip and dinner in beautiful surroundings accompanied by Mozart arias. Tour leader Brett from Vamos was caring and efficient. A perfect few days.

A lovely holiday to Prague. The trip for opera lovers. Hotel very good. Visited nice operas, Brett the tour leader, ensured I had a front seat because of my congenital deafnesss. I went last year to Budapest. Looking forward to the next one.

The journey was fantastic. The person provided amazing assistance that completely satisfied me. The hotels' locations and rooms were both excellent. Because of our travel agent, we had no issues. When necessary, our travel agent provided prompt responses. We advise using isikkimtravel. The trip to Nathula Pass was one among the highlights.

I was so pleased to return to Budapest having been there 20 years ago with the same group, but at that stage it had hardly recovered from the force of communism. That time my brother-in-law had just died in Budapest, so I spent my whole time going to where he lived to help sort out his belongings. The buildings have all been so beautifully restored, as well as the sparkling Opera House, which of course was the focus of our tour - seeing 3 operas in this glorious House (Götterdämmerung, Don Carlos and Marriage of Figaro) was an exceptional treat. We found a wonderful restaurant to eat after the performances.

The hotel had a very good breakfast, though I didn’t care for the colour schemes in my room - all grey, brown and black. Most definitely not my cup of tea. I’m afraid to say it was not a good dinner on our first evening in the hotel, after having arrived late - the food was inedible - and again, the dreary browns and blacks of the hotel restaurant decor!

Aside from our operas, we had a boat ride up the Danube to the island, also two trips to the countryside - these were well organised and prepared, but I felt we needed less time in the art gallery so we could explore the charming village more throughly. The Sissi Palace was the best tour - it was so beautiful, with all its rooms and gardens. She has a fascinating history - so loved, yet tragically assassinated.

It happened to be the most wonderful weather, and we had excellent tour guide called Andreas. He one of the most knowledgeable guides and gave us a special tour of St Michael’s Cathedral, which is so beautiful, full of ancient relics of past Kings and Queens.

On our final full day, I got a horrible bug (thankfully not Covid) so sadly was not on the best of form.

I love Budapest: its amazing history, with its tragedies too, including the turbulent times freeing themselves from the grip of communism.

Thanks to Brett and Vamos thanks for a lovely trip - he was very easy and helpful with everything.

I would just suggest that you need to find more local, and not larger, more commercial ones - little trattorias are better, which we all found later in the trip.

I would just like to add my praises about our recent 5 day Opera trip to Budapest. This was an excellent tour planned by Vamos Travel in conjunction with the Music Club of London, of which I am the Committee's representative on Overseas Travel. I closely worked with Vamos Travel, and Brett Smith was extremely efficient and dedicated to the needs of the group. We shall certainly be arranging more trips with them on in the near future.

In June 2022, I went with the Music Club of London to
Budapest, for an excellent opera trip organised by ‘Vamos’.
We had a first class hotel (Hotel Moments) which was 5 minutes walk from the Opera, in its newly refurbished magnificence, with three superb operas in four days - Wagner’s “Götterdämmerung”, Verdi’s “Don Carlos”and Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro”.

All were terrific with originality of stage sets and production, and first-class musicality.
We were also within walking distance of the old town, and the Danube.
We had tours of the city itself - notably Freedom Square, and the Fisherman's Bastion - as well as two tours outside Budapest, to an artists’ village on the Danube, and to the palace at Göodöolóo, which was a favourite of Sisi, the wife of Emperor, Franz Joseph, in the nineteenth century.

Our guides were all very knowledgeable, and Brett could not have been more sympathetic and kind in looking after the group.

I would happily go again - both with ‘Vamos’, and to Budapest!

We have used Vamos now a few times when taking our recruitment sales team overseas on incentive trips and every time they have been great. Brett and the team have a handle on the regions they recommend and take the hassle out of booking but also the risk out of what you are entering in to. It has been great to have someone recommend hotels they have stayed in and excursions they have actually done, which means that things go smoothly and more importantly the team enjoy themselves. We have just come off our last trip to Marrakech (organised by Vamos) and everything went great....... Well done Vamos keep it up!!

Just returned from a very special long weekend in Prodstrana near Split. Everything was arranged for us, from being personally picked up and driven to our apartment, a full-day boat trip to the island of Brac, taxiing us in to Split, and driving us to white water rafting on the Sunday plus taking us to an authentic Croatian restaurant up in the hills....an absolute hidden gem! Nothing was too much trouble, making the whole experience fun and stress free. Ante our host was both friendly and professional. I will definitely be returning to enjoy more of this type of holiday experience in the future!

Recently returned from a long weekend in Croatia - the activities - White Water Rafting - and a full day boat trip to Brac - were fantastic. Ante who was our local host was wonderful and from start to finish the whole experience was amazing - cannot rate highly enough!

I have been lucky enough to enjoy a number of corporate incentive breaks organised by Vamos. Budapest and Prague were my favourites. The attention to detail provided by Vamos in respect of hotel choices, gala dinners and city tours has always made for a fabulous break

We use the guys at Vamos Travel a few times a year for our corporate incentive trips and they have always looked after us extremely well. Our favourite destination so far is Bruges, you can't beat the lovely atmosphere and people.

This was our tenth trip with Vamos Travel, this time to Budapest for Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen.
As ever the attention toy detail and professionalism of Vamos Travel were exemplary: everything worked to plan and the Hotel Zenit was excellent, perfectly chosen.

Had a great trip with Vamos Travel to Madrid. Excellent hotel, excellent guides. all went smoothly and the price was right.

Went on a stag to Prague with Vamos, from the start Russ catered to our every need, and provided us with a first class experience, with some amazing fun times! Definitely would recommend to others, their knowledge of eastern europe is excellent, and their rates are too.

I have just returned from Budapest on the 3rd trip organised by Russell Smith of Vamos and, yet again, cannot praise his service too highly. Russell provides a killer combination of local knowledge and an intuitive feel for what will work for my friends and I. Everything worked perfectly whilst we were there, tour guide was great, activity arrangements went to plan and entry into clubs etc was hassle free - thanks Russell...already thinking about where to go next year! I used Vamos travel to take my Mum to Vienna for a birthday treat, to see the Spanish Riding School. The whole service was excellent I cannot fault them at all. Brett organised our accommodation, which was lovely, and also arranged our amazing seats at the Saturday performance at the Riding School, we were so close we could smell the aftershave of the riders and the heat of the horses. The car service from and to the airport was great, made you feel like a VIP. My Mum had a fantastic time and I could not have done it without Vamos and Brett, it made it a really special trip, I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again in the future.
