Purchased a Tiguan and also took out…
Purchased a Tiguan and also took out the warranty. At time of purchase I was told that you can choose your own repairer if they are a VAT registered garage. A week after purchase the car has a fault with travel assist. I called the warranty people to be given a garage in another county a significant distance away from me. I was told I had to take the car there for diagnostics, pay for it and then take it back at a later date for repair if it was covered by the warranty. I explained I was disabled and due to the distance would prefer a local garage. You have to take it to a garage with such a ridiculously low hoirly rate that it's nigh on impossible to find one. They were not interested in my disability so I ended up paying for the repairs out of my own pocket and am currently 2k worse off. Avoid the garage.

We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly as you were given information at the point of purchase regarding your choice of repairer and subsequently faced difficulties finding a suitable local garage.
We appreciate that having to pay for repairs yourself and being around £2,000 out of pocket has understandably caused significant frustration. This is certainly not the experience we would want any customer to have.
We would like the opportunity to investigate what happened, including the information provided at the point of sale and the handling of your warranty claim. Please contact us directly with your vehicle registration and contact details so we can locate your records and escalate this to the appropriate team.
We apologise for the inconvenience and frustration caused and hope we can work with you to understand what happened and find an appropriate resolution.
Absolute farce
Absolute farce - arrived to what can only be described as a house full of headless chickens, absolutely no organisation just complete pandemonium. No one knew what they were doing, I waited close to two hours for a test drive, I was originally speaking to someone, but they said I should talk to someone else?! By the time I was eventually spoken to, the car I wanted to see was already sold! If I could give less stars I would!!

Met Daniel, who showed us round the car in question, he was straight talking and honest to deal with, which is exactly what is needed when buying a car you have saved up for over a long time.
There were a few points to talk about and with a check in with his manager a deal was done.
No additional charges or additions, which was refreshing.

5* Service, fantastic team ⭐️
We were first welcomed by Ryan who was a lovely bloke. Very welcoming and accommodating, he offered us a drink and brought it to us. He made conversation about tattoos as we both have similar themes. We were then passed onto Jess from sales. Jess was also lovely, she ensured that she answered every question we asked and took us to the car to have a look around before we made the deal as we had already been on the Monday and completed the test drive. After we purchased the car we was handed over to Mia to complete the handover of the car. Mia was fantastic she is such an enthusiastic person. She had us laughing and made the whole situation rememberable. She also ensured that we knew all information and answered any further questions we had. I’d also like to mention the manager Wes, he was accommodating and sorted a few bits out on the car very quickly to make the service even better. These 4 people are a massive asset to the V12 team. Thank you guys!
