TWO Arrangements Arrived Crushed and…
TWO Arrangements Arrived Crushed and Mostly Dead.
Our work teams ordered two arrangements for our two awesome administrative professionals. They were both about $150.00 (so over $300 total).
Both arrived crushed with blooms worse than those you could buy from someone on the street at a stoplight.
Renlyn and Kim - customer service reps were very helpful. After reviewing the photos of the sad flowers, Renelyn ensured that a replacement was sent to the first Administrative Aide. When our other Administrative Aide did not receive a replacement, I contacted Urban Stems and Kim worked with me to issue a refund for the other sad flowers.
I realize Urban Stems must work with local florists. Hopefully, they have terminated their association with the florist that arranged and delivered the flowers on 4.22.26 (administrative professionals day).
So thanks, Kim! Thanks Renelyn! Do better, Urban Stems.

Ronnie, from the customer care team, was understanding and empathetic to the disappointment I felt, regarding the flowers my mother received for Mother’s Day. She was in agreement that they were not up to standard and offered to resend the flowers or give me a credit. She was also professional and courteous.
Order week in advance, delivered 2 days late, missed Mothers day, no apology
Ordered for delivery the day before Mothers Day, May 9th. I ordered SEVEN DAYS before May 9th. The flowers were delivered two days late, the DAY AFTER mothers day. I get an email from these jokers bragging about how well the delivery went without any mention of being late.
Why does the New York Times keep promoting this company? They apparently can't do the one thing they're supposed to do and don't even NOTICE when they've screwed up. I will never use this company again.
Using an alias to write this review due to the US not having any online privacy or anti-survelliance laws or regulations so using my real name would be idiotic.
Even their response to this review minimizes their screw up by saying it was 1 day late. It wasn't. It was TWO ENTIRE DAYS LATE.

Order arrived too late
I ordered three bouquets for Mother's day well in advance. Two out of three arrived on Monday. When I wrote to the company to determine what happened with the orders, an AI chatbot apologized "for my confusion." I have been ordering Mother's day bouquets for many years, and I will never trust Urban Stems for my deliveries again.

They won't help me with my order problem
I received flowers from an unknown sender so I don't know who to thank I've gone back and forth with them to contact the sender on my behalf. I keep getting a response to give them a good rating. I think I was talking to a Bot.

CAROL was very helpful and understanding. They took the time to understand my concern and were flexible in giving me a refund that I deserved. While they initially offered a credit, they were understanding and ultimately it was not too difficult to resolve a frustrating situation.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a flower company. Ordered flowers a couple months in advance for Mother’s Day. Flowers were 3 days late and when they finally got here, they were the wrong flowers. Do yourself a favor and stick with the Bouqs or Farmgirl

It’s online flower ordering… mistakes will be made
The ordering process is simple enough, and the delivery times and pricing are decent, but when problems arise they seem to be handled by AI. My flower order was changed without my approval to a completely different bouquet and the quantity was half of what I ordered. I attempted to contact their customer service, which has very fast response time because it’s an AI bot, but the details were incorrect. Eventually my problem was escalated to a live team member. We’ll see where it goes from here, but overall not a good experience.

Save your money
Save your money. I ordered well in advance for Mother’s Day and the flowers did not arrive as promised on may 9th. They didn’t even ship
Until the day before even after ordering weeks earlier. I am very unhappy that I wasted so much money with this company. Flowers are supposed to be delivered today and I’m bracing myself for major dissatisfaction as the reviews of their products are less than acceptable. Wish I had taken the time to research before spending so much. Take your business elsewhere and support a local florist instead.

I contacted support about an issue with my order, and they took care of it within a few hours without any back and forth. This kind of responsiveness lets me know they stand behind their products. I will not hesitate to order from them again.
Wasted money on an expensive “Vogue” bouquet.
This was an expensive “Vogue” bouvier for Mother’s Day. Of the four large white roses, one was petals only no flower, the other three were old brownish flowers. Some of the smaller flowers were old as well. Overall hardly anything was fresh. A complete waste of money. It looked terrible.

Delivered the wrong bouquet which was also wilted and dead
I ordered two bouquets for Mother’s Day , one was swapped for a completely different one with no notice, total price $184.
Both bouquets has multiple broken stems (8 out of 32 in totals) and both were in bad condition, the tulips were moldy. They have lasted less than 2 days and have gone in the trash.
Urban stems didn’t immediately offer to refund only offered store credit. I had to threaten a chargeback on my card to get a refund.

Erika helped me with an issue and went above and beyond to ensure I had what I needed. This type of service coupled with gorgeous flowers is why I keep coming back to Urban Stems.
Don’t bother
Urban Stems said they could deliver my bouquet before Mother’s Day, and instead of sending flowers to Cincinnati, a bouquet was sent to Syracuse from Illinois.
Instead of doing something meaningful, they declined to contact the carrier they hired, they declined to work with a different florist for immediate delivery, and they declined any rectification beyond (1) a store credit or (2) redelivery if a product they couldn’t be trusted to deliver in the first place.
Their AI “customer service” is an insult to the term. Responses are 5-10 minutes slow, and no real conversation is ever had.

They are a wonderful service
They are a wonderful service. They have a beautiful product and very fast shipping. You pay for these services, but I would say it’s worth it. While I had an unexpected outcome with my first order with them, they made it right and my second order was absolutely amazing! Plus my wife’s order she made separately was also amazing. Don’t forget to read the descriptions of what your buying- there will be details about the flowers and the “budding” and such so you can know exactly what to expect.
Finally, I have to shout out Juma, who was an awesome customer service representative, sending a wonderful response to me letting me know how much they truly care about what they do and what it means to us as “senders of happiness”. I’ll be using them again in the future!
Missed Mother's Day
Despite ordering a week in advance they did not deliver the flowers I ordered on mother's day siting courier issues. Customer service only verified it wasn't coming and stopped communicating. Will never use again

Horrible experience if they make a mistake.
I have ordered from urbanstems successfully in the past, but this mother's day I made an order to arrive the day before mother's day and they accidentally messed up the shipping tag so the shipping company had to sort out the unreadable label which delayed the package and now it won't arrive until the Monday after mother's day. I had to figure out another solution and pay another company to deliver flowers on mother's day and urbanstems will not provide a refund for their mistake!
It's super frustrating when companies won't do the right thing.
*I contacted their customer care team before writing this review and they would not issue me a refund which is why I now made a public review since they won't make it right.
