Poor delivery timescale.
Hi, ordered from here on the 13th August. It’s now the 21st and still no fabric. Apparently it’s due today. So I’d just like to make people aware do not take notice of the 1 day processing and 2 day delivery info on their site. We had arranged (and gave the fabric a week to arrive) for someone to do the recovering today. Obviously that’s now not going to happen. Not thrilled with this as we now have to find a date again to suit both.
Have mailed to company and the communication has been good. Doesn’t make up for the lack of fabric and timescales that are way out of what was promised. If you are ordering from
here I’d suggest giving two weeks and not the 3 days!! Hoping the fabric lives up to the description now.

Looking at the tracking I can see that we dispatched your parcel on time (the order was ordered on the 13th of August and dispatched on the 14th of August). Whilst most of our customers get their parcels on time, unfortunately there is not much we are able to do when carriers have delays while the parcel is in transit, which is what happened with your parcel (delays are mentioned in 'Shipping Information' section on our website). I can see on the tracking that the driver is not far from your location, so your parcel will be delivered shortly, and if there are any issues once the parcel is received - please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help.

Resolution of an issue with stock change
Placed an order for materials and were happy with the result so ordered a further batch of the same.
Unfortunately, the supply had changed and the material differed substantially. Contacted UK Fabrics and not only did they process the return but also kept a file note and advised when the correct material returned to stock.
In my opinion, one should judge a company on how they deal with things that go wrong, going right is the easier path, in this they were exemplary

Great quality materials
Bought materials for upholstery and was a bit apprehensive of buying online.

Marine blue plush velvet
The fabric arrived folded instead of rolled (4m) so as it’s plush velvet it’s very creased even after hanging for nearly a week, the quality , price and fabric itself is great, just annoying that it was so creased .

Great choices
Looking for fabric to update my dining chairs. Many choices available so sent for 3 samples which arrived quickly. So glad I did as one completely wrong colour, one I didn't like the texture but the 3rd one was perfect. Great colour & texture just what I wanted. Ordered on the Saturday and the following Saturday had arrived and my chairs re-upholstered. Looking great!
Would recommend and will use again.

Beautiful fabric delivered promptly but difficult to machine sew
Delivered promptly and well wrapped. The velvet material is very good quality and heavy duty with non-slip backing. The only downside is that it was not possible to machine stitch through 2 layers of the fabric as my needles could not penetrate enough to pick up the lower thread. I had to resort to hand stitching, using pliers to pull my needle through the fabric. Despite this, the end result is a beautiful deep blue chair cushion. I will try using needles designed for leather for my next velvet project. Might be good to point this out to other customers.

Great company. There was a problem with my order, however when I contacted customer services they sorted it out straight away. Material is as described and cut to exact quantity ordered and of good quality.

Marks on fabric
I’ve used you in the past and it’s all been fine, not too impressed this time though;
Initially I was surprised to see an Amazon driver deliver the fabric. I thought you were an independent company.
When I examined the fabric I found marks and blotches all over both fabrics I ordered. Fortunately these are for curtains and I can hide the marks on the inside, but one curtain will be slightly narrower now so I won’t see the worst mark.

Easy order process
Ordered 2 lengths of fabric from UK Fabrics. Ordering process was simple and the colours in the images closely match the actual product. I was contacted by the company as there wasn't enough material to fulfil one part of the order, but the process was easy and the order was fulfilled swiftly.
