Loved the metal cap and ball but unfortunately the bolt sent with it that secures the ball to the cap was too small and wouldn’t tighten.
Good delivery and good product, well packaged and reasonably priced just marred by the wrong sized bolt

Excellent customer service
We have had our cabin for many years now and it’s still as beautiful as it was the day we built it. My contact with the company today was to request a new door handle set as these over the years have started to show signs of age!. The phone call was answered swiftly and the lady I spoke to recommended I sent her a photo of what we wanted to replace, within a couple of hours I have been sent an email with a price which includes delivery which I am very happy with. I will be replying to her and placing the order. Thank you for your excellent customer service and support.

Great delivery info. Only slight niggle is that the order acknowledgement did not confirm the height of the matting I ordered - I had to phone to confirm.

Delivery good, but spec has changed
Delivery was good, but the new door lock was a different size to the existing one…so took a lot of chopping away at the door to make it fit.

The shed looks good but there were a…
The shed looks good but there were a few niggles with it. There are a few gaps in the apex of the roof which are nothing to do with how it was constructed. Not enough roof felt covers the roof so had to buy more just for a small section. I'm hoping there's enough shingles to do the job? No instructions sent for the install and nothing that we could find online. You will need to buy some different fixings/ nails for the windows/ door trims or else you will smash the glass or fire them straight through the walls into the shed. Not sure why we need so many incorrect nails as well? The price was good but I guess you get what you pay for!

Not my first Tuin review
Not my first Tuin review. We bought our first cabin some 3 years ago – 9m x 5m, and it is situated in a meadow, completely exposed to very high wind and driving rain, and I let it a full 18 months BEFORE I protected the wood. The build quality is absolutely brilliant, and the price is incredible in comparison to the alternatives. 40mm thick planks. Will last forever. I challenge anyone to get a “shed” that size for the same price – and good luck in winter….. We just ordered another cabin, slightly smaller, and had an issue with some details, which were rectified in one email and one phone call, one with Mel and one with Trina. Like all the communications I have had with Tuin – Mel and Trina were just absolute Angels, and just lovely to deal with. I cannot praise this company enough.

Non delivery
I’ve changed my rating to 4* from 1* because the delivery (by Parcelforce) has finally arrived. It was advertised for Friday and didn’t materialise - we were apparently out (not true) despite hanging around all day waiting.
My previous experience of Tuin has been entirely positive - last time we were taking delivery of an entire log cabin so weren’t reliant on a parcel courier!
The log cabin was great too - this time a tin of timber treatment to refresh the treatment applied a few years ago.

Good morning. I'm sorry to read that your delivery was not received as expected. Parcelforce/Royal Mail of course operate under their own delivery structure and therefore once it leaves us we have no further control. We do book a next day day delivery with them but even with that, we are unable to guarantee. We of course aim to get all deliveries to our customers as quickly as we can.
