Not Good Service - Will not use again
I am extremely disappointed with Travelocity and will not be using their services again. I booked a round-trip flight through Travelocity and purchased insurance on my flights for added protection. A few days later, one of the airlines rescheduled my flight to depart a day later, which completely disrupted my plans.
I contacted Travelocity for assistance, but they only suggested calling the airline, claiming there was nothing they could do. When I reached out to the airline, they were equally unhelpful. Left with no other option, I had to spend hundreds of dollars more on another airline to ensure I arrived on the day I originally needed to be there.
To make matters worse, I later found out from Generali, the insurance provider, that my new flight was not covered under the policy I had purchased. When I contacted Travelocity to request a refund for the insurance and the inconvenience, they flatly refused, despite the situation being out of my control.
I feel completely let down by Travelocity. I paid extra for insurance that I couldn’t even use and ended up having to spend significantly more just to keep my travel plans intact. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I strongly advise others to avoid using Travelocity for their travel needs. I will certainly never recommend them.

I purchased a flight ticket for a total…
I purchased a flight ticket for a total price that was clearly described in the Travelocity site as including one checked bag and one carry on bag as well as seat selection. When I checked in, I was charged $120 for my one checked bag. When I called Travelocity they would not address the issue unless I could first send them a screenshot of the Travelocity screen at the time I purchased the ticket.
Travelocity ripped me off
Travelocity failed to tell me that the local rental agency did not accept debit cards so my rental was canceled and they refused to give me a refund. ( The term Debit and Credit cards is used interchangeably in our society)
Travelocity stole my money. They ripped me off. Multi-billion dollar company taking money from the poor to line their pockets.
I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know every time I get a chance.
Terrible customer service. Still no refund
I work in customer service so I know how difficult it can be, but Travelocity is the worst. The fine print says that a customer should get a flight refund when a flight is canceled. However, when I had a flight canceled due to bad weather, the customer service agent tried to blame me for not making a canceled flight. I tried again after my vacation to reach an agent who said they are working on a refund. After two weeks, I was told they could not reach the airline. So I easily reached the airline who said they had never heard from Travelocity as all they had to do was give the flight information and they would generate a refund code. I gave Travelocity the telephone number to call to confirm the canceled flight. Still no refund it’s three months later. Never again.
Travelocity= exceptionally poor customer service
Travelocity's service has been highly disappointing. Their website is cluttered and difficult to navigate, making the booking process unnecessarily complicated. Customer service is nearly impossible to reach, and when you do, representatives are unhelpful and often rude. Refunds and cancellations are a nightmare, with lengthy delays and unclear policies. Overall, using Travelocity has been a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable travel booking platform.
This is our forth stay in this little…
This is our forth stay in this little slice of heaven in the Med..on the Greek island of Greece we found a gem of peace and quiet… it is called Anax resorts and spa. 5 star for sure, cleanliness of entire property and staff and owner manager who truly cares.. my daughter is getting married on Mykonos and we have arranged for all of our guests to stay there! That says it all. Check it out! You will not be disappointed.😊
Billed $37,165.80 for airfare from Chicago to Philadelphia
I tried to change a reservation for the date of a flight. I received a bill for $37,165.80. It has taken more than an hour on the phone to try to get this clairified. They have gotten all of my travel information confused. I will never use travelocity again.
Don’t book cruises here
Don’t book cruises here! My cruise on Royal Caribbean Voyager of the Seas dropped almost 200$ a person within 5 days of booking then 400$ a person within 2 weeks of booking. I paid 1400$ a person over Memorial Day weekend for an interior room, then it had dropped to $900 a person. Over 6 emails and 1:20 min phone call later, I got a $50 on board credit. I would NEVER use them for a cruise, book with other cruise book sites that give price adjustments because cruises change dramatically in price.
AIG Travel Insurance & Travelocity's lack of service
Booked a Dominican Republic vacation leaving from EWR. Showed up early morning (paid for parking) well in advance of my flight (JetBlue). At the check-in I was rejected because though my passport expires 7/21/2024 I was told that my passport had to be valid within 6 months of travel. I immediately went to the Travelocity website which says nothing about this for my travel. I then went to JetBlue website, took a screen shots of their directions to review travel requirements for Dominican Republic and showed them screenshots where it clearly only states under Passport validity, "Passports must be valid for the period of stay in the Dominican Republic."
JetBlue refused to let me on the flight so like any consumer I called Travelocity. The customer service person did everything he could to help but ultimately he said this was an airline issue and called JetBlue who still would not allow for my travel due to this "6 month" requirement. Understanding this I called my travel insurance I signed up for through Travelocity and it turned out to be AIG Travel Insurance. Of course on a Sunday there is no live person to help. I called promptly on Monday and they walked me through filing a claim. In the end they not only did nothing to help me get credited for my NO travel but they had the nerve to send me all their terms and conditions of which none addressed being rejected by an airline as a reason to award a claim. So now I paid $220 for travel insurance that did nothing to help me. Travelocity could not do anything and I had to work with JetBlue who refunded everything but the parking to a "Travel Credit" which I have to use with them. I got my return flight credited which I have to use through Travelocity but the resort refused to credit me even though I also called them on the 9th and 10th to let them know all that happened. I warn everyone out there to not only avoid working with Travelocity but to also research and speak to a live person when dealing with travel insurance. When I looked at all the booking details I found that there is no savings when it's all said and done. You can find your own flights, book directly with the resorts and get your own travel insurance and the same or less total cost. All Travelocity does is provide convenience but there are no perks especially when you have to deal with a refund issue. This was simply a disgusting even which cost me $1,300 loss and even worse I could not take my children on vacation at the end of their school year.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Do not buy the travel insurance if you do. Allianz rejected an insurance claim when I changed flights after the death of my cousin. Travelocity was unable/unwilling to move the flight as well. Read the small print. Bait and switch and should be illegal.
Travelocity used to be a good option but now, like a lot of users, the date function is a disaster. I’ve stopped using for good.
Travelocity used to be a good option, now
The online system has several bugs
The online system has several bugs. I kept trying to book for a specific data and it would generate ticket options for different dates. It eventually booked a different date and created a disaster. Same thing happened when I combined with a hotel. A terrible experience.
Travelocity did not fulfill their promise or service
I booked this through Travelocity. It was booked & I had reservation confirmation in my email. The next morning as I was leaving I saw an email from Travelocity informing me Phoenix couldn't accommodate me due to an "inventory" problem. Travelocity told me the best they could do was a double queen 1room hotel without an ocean view. But I had reservations for a one bedroom condo with bunk beds for the kids, kitchen, & living area. So I checked in & paid for the hotel they had found. For the same price. After I unpacked in the Hotel room... I saw I had a message from Phoenix saying they had another condo for me. And a better one! After I already paid the hotel... Needless to say Travelocity seems to have gone down hill. Travelocity promised me something they couldn't fulfill. Apparently Travelocity & Phoenix don't communicate properly. Travelocity promised me something they couldn't fulfill. I had emails saying I had a condo/apartment BOOKED AND RESERVED. They said it was Phoenix 's fault. Phoenix said it was Travelocity's fault. Someone is lying. & I was scrambling at the last minute trying to figure out on the phone with Travelocity at the last minute to make sure I had a place to stay. I demanded a discount I am supposed to get $250 off the next time I book with Travelocity. But will it be fulfilled? Can I trust them? Better than nothing... I guess 😓? But it's really not good enough. I am still angry & sad. You guys screwed up my vacation. This is so bad.
I will never use Travelocity again
I will never use Travelocity again for airline reservations. I had multiple problems with the airlines changing flights; which was not Travelocity's problem, but Travelocity was unable to help me find alternate travel arrangements. All they could do was cancel my reservation and left me on my own to find flights. Their customer service must be one of the worst. I heard the same story numerous times that someone would call me back and help with the problem. No one ever called back.
Been using for years
Been using for years, no problems until recently booking. Booked round trip and they booked airline as one way. Called and they couldn’t find my booking. Airline said it was booked by third part.

Sail Croatia May 25th-June 1st 2024
We joined Sail Croatia for a fun filled week of biking through the beautiful Croatian countryside. Our e- bikes allowed us to go places and see things that made our journey extra special. The guides had fantastic informative information. The boat Emanuel took us on the Split south return destinations and left us wishing we could stay longer . Meals on board were very tasty and our bartender always had a big smile . We met a great group of fellow riders and I look forward to Sailing with Sail Croatia again. Thanks for a wonderful week .
Fronting a scam rental car company
I am a long-time customer of Travelocity, but recently, my bad experience eclipsed this. When booking a rental car, I was unaware I was booking a BBB-rated (1) star car company. The booking web page didn't indicate this company, as if it was masked by Travelocity. I didn't know until after I got the confirmation. My experience led to the rental car company backloading expenses almost double what Travelocity charged me. NU Car Rental refuses to reimburse me for unapproved charges. Travelocity is complicit in this transaction, and if Travelocity didn't front this company, it would never be in business. Just check out the BBB website for NU Car Rentals for proof.
