I ordered a number of bull nosed tiles - 4 were not bullnosed. I let them know and waited for the replacements as my job is now behind - I only just saw the mail where they want a video (!) to prove the four tiles have no bull nose. What an absolute waste of time.
I am writing to you as a long-standing trade customer who frequently visits my local branch Ilford with my clients.
Over the weekend, I received two parking charge notices (PCNs) by post, despite receiving no physical notifications on my vehicle at the time of my visits. As a regular customer, I was parked on-site specifically to conduct business in-store. I have emailed customer services at H.O awaiting their reply.
Ordered tile samples over a month ago. They arrived completely shattered in the box so unsuitable to be used as samples. Contacted customer service and got a quick reply saying they would issue a full refund. However, the refund never came. Multiple emails sent since then and the reply is always the same: it’s been passed on to IT and the refund will be issued. However, it’s over a month on and I still haven’t received a refund. Can’t recommend.
Thank you to Emily at the Strood store for going above and beyond for us. Friendly, and very helpful.

Thank you so much to Jonathan and Owen at Topps Tile Long Eaton. They went above and beyond helping me sorting everything out, very patient too! Highly recommend.

I visited this store twice. While my first visit was disappointing due to a lack of greeting, my second experience was completely transformed by Tina. I was struggling to choose between tiles, and despite knowing I already had a quote from another branch, Tina went above and beyond to help.
She was incredibly patient, even allowing me to borrow a sample to compare with other stores. The turning point was when she took me outside into the natural sunlight to see the tile properly; it was a "wedding dress moment" where everything finally clicked. Tina’s professional knowledge, empathy, and genuine care turned a stressful process into a success. She is a credit to the team!

The Carlisle branch of Topps Tiles is excellent, and Jack and Leon couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

Topps Tiles at Wallace Down Dorset I recommend the very best sales assistance {Hannah} for her Customer skills, I thought customer skills were dead until we were served by Hannah. She went the full mile and more. We didn't read the small print about deliveries, so without transport we were stuck. Hannah's quick thinking found our plumbers number and arranged for him to pick up our tiles. Thankyou Hannah your a Gem. Valerie Toohig.

Excellent customer service,
Aylesbury Broadfields Branch, Benjamin was helpful, He showed excellent knowledge, of the product types, was not phased by putting together different tile combinations. Altogether a very stress free experience.

I am disappointed with the quality of the Aries range tiles we purchased in both Silver and Ivory. While the tiles look beautiful, they are only about 7mm thick and break very easily. We experienced multiple issues with chipping and cracking. Multiple broke during installation. My tiler, who has over 15 years of experience, raised these concerns with the store but was told that the tiles were fine and that no one else had reported problems. Bare in mind he has never come across this issue before on any other job and was just completely fobbed off. This situation has caused unnecessary stress, delayed our project, and was frustrating, especially given the price of £20 per tile. I would not recommend these tiles, as our concerns were not addressed and no responsibility was taken for the quality issues.
poor stock&delivery.
only positive that although you have to pay for samples, you can return/get refund.
- Availabilty stated does not match actual timeframes
- internal distribution cumbersome and very lenghty
- 3rd party shipping extortinately expensive
- rigid head office policy does not help cutomers
This review is specifically for Sean at the Northampton (Orbital Park) branch of Topps Tiles. We went in there pretty clueless, had a brilliant experience with Sean who gave us loads of advice and the right products, and came out feeling like we could actually do the small bit of tiling we needed to do. His advice, patience and willingness to go the extra mile were second to none, and I'd recommend both him and the shop at Northampton in a heartbeat. I don't normally leave reviews, but in this instance felt I had to as we'd had such a positive experience.

I found the staff very helpful in helping me make decisions about which tiles to buy for a patio and the additional materials I would need. The staff are very pleasant, but unfortunately the available delivery service is restricted by the company.
It is extremely disappointing that Topps Tiles as a company do not offer deliveries of tiles onto the customer’s property where the property is easily accessible. There must be many older people living alone, and other groups of people who would appreciate the availability of such a service.
The whole process of delivery became quite stressful. My tiler lives out of the area and Topps online only guarantees kerbside deliveries and does not offer time slots on the date of delivery.
The Topps Tiles shop gave contradictory information about whether or not the local delivery service, which does offer delivery time slots, would deliver the tiles onto the property. Following this contradictory information, I looked at other companies which do offer delivery time slots. I have a short and easily accessible drive and was again told in the Topps Tiles shop that it wouldn’t be a problem delivering the tiles onto my drive by the local delivery service. I had a Blue Light Card 10% discount code for online orders - £134 in my case. I decided to forego this discount in order to have the peace of mind that the tiles would be delivered onto my drive within a 2 hour time slot by the local delivery service.
However in the days before the delivery, I was again advised that the local delivery service only offers kerbside deliveries. Questions from staff like “have you got anyone who could help you?” were not helpful. I am in my 70s, 5’2” and 8 stone. It took two hefty men quite some time to move 48 boxes of external porcelain tiles onto my property, and they found it a significant struggle without lifting gear. The man from the local delivery company kindly agreed to do this following a request by Topps staff “as a favour” to me, and was given a tip from me; the other man was my tiler.
The returns policy is good. However when I wanted to re-purchase 1 box of tiles, Topps were very reluctant to agree to hold onto the box until my tiler was available to pick it up for me the following month, again apparently a company policy. They did agree “as a one off….we can’t store things indefinitely, we are not a storage unit”. There didn’t seem to be any problem storing 48 boxes when the initial purchase price of the tiles and other materials was £1,700. I have spent a significant amount of money at Topps Tiles, and more since the initial purchase in order to buy additional materials. I decided to forego the Blue Light Card discount and complete the purchase with the local Topps Tiles shop as I was advised that it wouldn't be a problem for the tiles to be delivered onto my property by the local delivery service. The reluctance by Topps Tiles to agree to hold 1 box of 2 tiles until they could be collected by my tiler was therefore extremely disappointing.
The solution in my view would be the availability of a delivery service to deliver heavy materials onto accessible properties.
I will avoid Topps Tiles in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff who are very pleasant, but due to the restrictions of company policy.
I have been a customer of the Topps Group, but my recent experience with their brand 'Tile Warehouse' has been appalling. I received a batch of porcelain tiles (Order #109263) that are varying in size and badly bowed. Two professional tilers have rejected the materials as they are not fit for a professional finish.
When I contacted customer service, I was met with excuses about 'manufacturing tolerances' rather than a solution. It is disappointing to see a major group like Topps Tiles allowing such poor quality products and rigid customer service to affect homeowners. I am currently left with a half-finished floor and no resolution. I expected better quality control from this group.
Tops tiles Martlesham, visited the store today. Dominic and Ryan were excellent helping us to choose tiles. Very knowledgeable

Andres, Clive & Raj - Top Tiles Croydon.
These three gentlemen went over and beyond to help me! Andres help me with designing the last touches to the kitchen - from advising me on the tiles and especially the grout. I showed him a photo of my kitchen and he took over. We spoke about his kitchen - so giving me his personal advice made me feel that i was at the right place.
My second visit was to help with my bathroom and Andres was busy and Raj and Clive help - these two are comedians!! Again advice on matching the floor and walls tiles perfectly.
I always feel relaxed in here and would recommend to visit this store.
When I upgrade my home I will be visiting this store again regardless of where my new home will be.
Guys thank you so much and i truly appreciate you all.
Blessed Love
Lynne & Joshua
