Usually TigerDirect is fabulous, but not the last time!
Usually TigerDirect is fabulous, but with my last purchase from them I will no longer even consider ordering from them. I made an error and ordered the wrong keyboard for my new Microsoft Surface Go. Realized my mistake when trying to use it and notified Tiger Direct right away and ordered the correct keyboard. Finally got a return authorization from TigerDirect and returned the original product, in the original packaging, at my expense. First response from TigerDirect was no refund, second response after my rather nasty email was a restocking fee and a refund to my Visa. The process took much too long and started out with No Refund on a $174.00 keyboard that had been unpacked, was not suitable, and was repacked and TigerDirect was asked for a refund.
I may be off on some details but after working for The Source for 11 years in Management and Sales I have some knowledge of Customer Service and Retention essentials. My entire career was in Management, Sales Management and Sales and I felt that I was NOT treated properly and advised my last contact that my dollars would be spent elsewhere from that point on.

the last computer that I bought it…
the last computer that I bought it required a power suply and it was missing in the shipping , they did not to take back the computer and did not send me a power supply for it with was missing in the shipping.

First one arrived with a failed cooling…
First one arrived with a failed cooling fan bearing, made a ton of noise and it never stopped. Sent it back no issues, but the second one had a failed SODIMM slot, so couldn't be upgraded to 16GB RAM. Overall good though considering the price, and hey, you still get an i7 so I cant complain too much. Just wish that whoever is responsible for "recertifying" would be a bit more thorough.
Would I buy this one again? Maybe. I needed an inexpensive and capable rig that could run some specialized software and it fit the bill. Just disappointed in the recertification is all.
