Been using thinkupthemes.com and Wordpress for many years for five different websites. Very pleased - would recommend.

"Consulting" Theme by ThinkUpThemes

I'm using the theme "Consulting" by ThinkUpThemes, still in its free version, but it has saved me a lot of time, it delivers a professional look with no effort, it provides the basics to start, and I'll be buying their paid version for sure.

support

Respect,
after paying for the permanent version it could not be upgraded.
After we didn't know how to proceed, we needed support.
It was only from the second letter that they understood and sent us the necessary link for the upgrade.
I think that after paying for the permanent license, it would be necessary to automatically send the necessary link to be able to upgrade.
That way it would be a really first-class and simple service.

False Advertising

False Advertising! ThinkupThemes.com is the absolute worst website template company. I have contacted their support multiple times about my content not displaying on a page, and they keep directing me to their knowledge base.

That is not the 24/7 support that was promised when purchasing! Now they want me to pay for a developer to resolve this issue.

Never again!!

Good support

A few years ago, I used the Grow Pro theme to create a website for a friend of mine who runs an auto repair shop and have been maintaining it since. I'm not a professional website developer and so have likely needed more support than some. Grow Pro has always gotten back to me within a couple of days and both patient and helpful. This time around they pointed me correctly to a possible plug-in conflict which I really should have been able to find without their help.

Great Theme!

Great theme! I love the simplicity of working with this theme. I love the layout, design, the ease with which to customize the theme.

Complicated API Code Activation

It took me several attempts to understand where to download a newer version of Minamaze Pro. After that, by coincidence I fount the place to overwrite the API code, which is next to a DEACTIVATE button. I would have expected to enter the new API code and activate the new Code.

Waste of money.

Waste of money.

I was very excited when I saw their video on the Page Builder feature so purchased a theme.
Page Builder was absent. There is absolutely zero documentation. The link in the theme for documentation takes you to their themes page, no docs at all.

After hours scouring the internet I found out I actually had to install a Page Builder plugin hidden in their site. This was not indicated anywhere in their theme.

Then the issues really began. The Page Builder implementation fights with Wordpress' builtin editor.
Once you've created a page without Page Builder, there is no way to convert it, you basically have to delete that page and start again from scratch.

Then I tried to use their Portfolio feature.
It was impossible to get it to work. I should mention that I'm actually a programmer, I've worked with PHP (the language Wordpress and all themes are mad with) and with more complex software architecture like iOS apps using Swift. So I'm not clueless :)
But the whole point of getting a theme was so that I didn't have to program all this crap.

So, the portfolio: I spent days trying to get it to work to no avail, there was just now way that I could build a portfolio and have my images shown in it.
I reached out to their support and it took them weeks to get back to me. When they did it was all short, useless messages. The last one had a link to some docs hidden somewhere that supposedly explained how to create a portfolio. I followed the instructions carefully. Portfolio still didn't work.
After much back and forth, today I received a message from support saying that "each portfolio can only show a single image"!!!
What? The whole definition of a portfolio is a COLLECTION of images.

Anyway, I now wish I'd never bought this, it's a complete waste of time and money. There's nothing in the theme that you cannot do for free in Wordpress.

Okay, not great.

There is no documentation on the size of the images to use for the featured front page content boxes. I've tried all sorts of sizes of images as well as files but it never looks like how I want it to. Plus, the constant "Leave us a review!" messages are very annoying, to the point that I'm considering changing themes.
