Founded in 1874, The Wine Society is the world’s oldest member-owned community of wine lovers. We put our members before profit to ensure fairer bottle prices for both the people that enjoy them, and for those who make them. Because we don’t need to keep external shareholders happy, we’re able to put profits back into lower prices and services, so our members get exceptional quality in every bottle they buy.

Everything is good about the wine society. Prompt, efficient service. No delivery charges. Storage facilities. Refunds if not satisfied. Excellent opportunities for buying in-bond, thus saving money long term.
Excellent service, good selection of quality wines at the keenest prices in the market.
I have never had a bad bottle of wine from The Wine Society. You can buy cheaper wine elsewhere, usually for a reason. But the breadth and depth of their range is unparalleled.
They resolved a delivery problem very quickly and very satisfactorily
I’ve been a member of The Wine Society for many years and the quality of the wine and the prices are always fantastic. The free delivery is quick and flexible, even for a single bottle! I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
excellent choice of wines across all price points, good free delivery, guarantee of wine enjoyment
It has given a good range of wines at reasonable prices. The only problems have been those of delivery. The Wine Society van is good but the other carrier has delivered incomplete orders and broken bottles several times - always to much in a hurry to check
Excellent website, with great selection of wines, reasonably priced. Free, speedy delivery an added bonus.
Good quality wines. Wide range of tastes and prices. Efficient ordering and delivery processes, especially when the delivery is done by a Wine Society van.
Excellent choice of wines! I really value the communications from the company - offers or selections from certain regions. It helps to promote interest in wine as then we as consumers may try different wines and grapes.
I've been a member of the Wine Society for a great many years and their service, and the quality of their wines are always excellent. I've recently tried their Clay Creek Pinot Noir in the wine boxed version and it is very good indeed. The wine box means I don't wind up with part bottles which is useful.
The choice of wines that you offer is great and it is very easy to order online.
I have never been disappointed with the Wine Society.
I think that says it all.
It's a none profit but we all know how that can be abused with high salaries etc. But I have had some good and unusual wines and although they are as variable as other shippers and the reviews are not very helpful I rank them up there with the top. The wines are not cheaper than Tesco or Waitrose but they have better wines for the money and dome small vineyards you don't see anywhere else
Wine is great and a good price.
Delivery by DHL not so good, left without knocking though I was there.Don’t want £100 of(clearly)wine sitting on my doorstep in the street in clear view.
I have not received the delivery due to your inability to make the delivery at a reasonable time despite you being notified of my availability. You have normally done this in the past.
