Founded in 1874, The Wine Society is the world’s oldest member-owned community of wine lovers. We put our members before profit to ensure fairer bottle prices for both the people that enjoy them, and for those who make them. Because we don’t need to keep external shareholders happy, we’re able to put profits back into lower prices and services, so our members get exceptional quality in every bottle they buy.

I have always found the wine society extremely helpful and deliveries on time .
Unlike almost all other mail order companies, The Wine Society not only has an excellent website that works first time, but can also be contacted by telephone which is answered very quickly and you can speak to a knowledgeable human being. Their service is second to none and their wine is always good.
W.S. Has an incomparably wide choice of wine from all of the greatest countries and regions AND manages to offer the best value for money
It would be even better if you were to allow this email to go out after delivery has been effected. The five stars is a generic
Very wide range of wines from all over the world, from very affordable to top of the range.
Efficient and free delivery anywhere in the UK especially from their own vans. This includes single bottle orders (which encourages being adventurous). Excellent customer service.
Excellent wine delivered when required. The quality is superb and the prices are very reasonable. Regular email communication reminds me to buy more and the deals are always very tempting!
The upsides are value for money and good customer service when there are any problems.
The downside is the relentless flood of emails extolling the virtues of every wine under the sun. The Society should be more selective and more honest in what it recommends and not just appear to be sales-led.
Great selection of wines across the whole price range.
Delivery service is excellent- getting to choose exactly when you want your order to be delivered.
Everything is good about the wine society. Prompt, efficient service. No delivery charges. Storage facilities. Refunds if not satisfied. Excellent opportunities for buying in-bond, thus saving money long term.
Excellent service, good selection of quality wines at the keenest prices in the market.
I have never had a bad bottle of wine from The Wine Society. You can buy cheaper wine elsewhere, usually for a reason. But the breadth and depth of their range is unparalleled.
