I ordered a Personalised Olive Wood Cheeseboard and gift box for a new home gift for some friends. The gift box cost me an extra £5.99 bringing my total spend to £66.99.
When the parcel arrived it was wrapped well but the gift box was split down the side and corner. I feel the gift box was like this when sent out and not done in transit. I have now contacted their customer services via email on 2 occasions but to date they have not shown me the courtesy of replying. I requested they send me another gift box and offered to return the damaged gift box to them. I think there customer service has a lot to be desired and something they should be looking at improving.

The Rustic Dish has a warm and inviting vibe, and the food was enjoyable overall. A few dishes could use a bit more seasoning, but it was still a pleasant experience.

I was trying to find a high quality personalised coaster of my dog’s paw print after he passed away and came across The Rustic Dish. I loved the look of their coasters and saw they did personalisation but couldn’t find a way to upload my print. I ended up emailing them with my ask and Mitch was amazing and more than happy to help! He emailed me at each step and sent me an image of the final design. It’s arrived today and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much!

I ordered 2 chopping boards to be delivered as Xmas presents. One arrived on time, the other didn’t arrive until January as the postage hadn’t been paid so the recipient had to pay £7. When I contacted them, they were disbelieving but fortunately I had photos. They then apologised but said they had to raise it with the post office - surely good customer service would reimburse you the £7 and not wait for a lengthy post office investigation. Would not recommend due to their poor customer service

Unfortunately the olive wood cheeseboard I ordered from this company developed a large crack through the board within one week of receiving it. When I contacted the company I was quite rudely told that this was my fault for not taking care of the board properly. I handwashed the board only and even oiled the board with olive oil (as per their recommendation) twice during just that week. Obviously this is a cheap and poor quality product for this to occur in such a short time frame and the hostile emails received only confirms that this isn't a company who cares about product quality or customer service. I would highly recommend supporting a different company with better quality products and customer service.

The 2 x customised chopping boards are beautiful. I ordered YESTERDAY and it arrived today. Sooo incredibly impressed.

The estimated date was the 17th of August (quickest I could find) and I thought I would have to give my wedding gifts late (wedding is today on the 15th).

Would definitely recommend this company if you want something thoughtful, high quality and quick⭐

Also - great choice of courier (DPD). They sent both an email and text with the 1 hour time frame they would arrive (between 10am and 11am) and they came at 10.15. so easy to plan my day and there's an option to choose where you want the courier to leave your package.

Absolutely amazed from start to finish. Messaged on Instagram and got a response within an hour. First contact was made Monday lunchtime and the olive custom chopping boards were with us by Wednesday!

The product is exceptional. Thoroughly recommend and we will be purchasing again soon.

I received my marble coasters today and couldn't be happier, they are stunning as well as practical and will protect my new oaks tables. I'm going to check out the website as I have several special gifts to buy this year. Now that I see the quality offered by The Rustic Dish I can't imagine going elsewhere l.

Ordered a watercolour style print of my mums dog for her 70th . Asked for a3 , then asked for the paper bezel surround . Now granted this might have been a misunderstanding but I expected an a3 print .. with the surround around it and an oak frame was ordered . What I got was an a3 sized plastic frame , and a tiny picture of my mums dog in the middle . Could have done better on my printer . extremely cheap looking .
Gave it to her whilst apologising and saying I’d get something else for her .

Absolutely terrible company, because I missed the order by DPD twice, they wasn’t going to send out again, or refund my £70,had to get Resolver in volved, after weeks finally got it, And definitely not worth £70,looks cheap,ordered it through Not on the high street, who was no help what so ever, my advice shop somewhere else

I love these olive boards and buy them for wedding and birthday gifts all of the time, they are perfect.
This time I wanted a longer message than their website allowed me to write.
Several emails later and it was at my door.
My friend will love it.

Terrible customer service. I have been contacting them for a number of weeks but never got a response. I have messaged on Etsy and Instagram, sent emails and reached out through their chat system on the website. Quite sad as I wanted to make a purchase but I will be going elsewhere.

Fantastic customer service! I ordered a personalised cheese board via Notonthehighstreet but put the wrong personalised date on the order. I emailed the company immediately and received a reply straight away. I subsequently received the beautiful, personalised olive wood cheese board with the correct date on it. Thank you.

Horrible customer service. You can gauge more about how a business deals with unhappy customers than you can when everything is going well. I received a serving board that I felt had been completely misrepresented, and was no use to me. This company persistently refused to see my point of view, or even to offer a tiny discount on a repeat order as a gesture of goodwill. Hostile emails from them left me feeling really quite upset. Not a nice company to do business with.
