I’d like to thank everyone at the insolvency group who dealt with my case, no matter who I spoke with everyone was polite and understanding which was realy helpfull to me as I was struggling with anxiety and depression thinking about my debt. From making an enquiry online to having my Iva put in place was only a couple of weeks. I feel like a massive weight has been lifted and I can now get on with my life without worrying thanks to the insolvency group. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The support and communication was fantastic and could not fault the process at all.

Laid out all options and were very helpful, dealt with my case quickly, would recommend.

I usually recommend ISG to people who struggle with debt etc. but lately I just can't. I'm unsure what's happened over the last few years but recent experiences have been horrific. My last financial review was the most stressful by far. it seems they're no longer trying to get the best outcome for people and no longer feels they go out they're way to help. To hit the nail on the head I rang up regarding the Cycle-to-work scheme and explained I cycle to work and my bike is a death trap and need this to be approved ASAP. Been told last Monday it will be sorted for the Friday.. No communication, no nothing. Rang up and they said it'll be Monday. Rang up the Monday (Today) been told got to wait for Wednesday! Explained the situation was like taking to a bot. 2* is being extremely generous!

Everything went well and was really straight forward. Now entered in to an IVA and my debt is at a level I can cope with. It’s taken a huge weight off my shoulders and hopefully now I can get back on track and take control of my finances which were spiralling out of control before this. Thank you.

These people are angels i was in bad way regarding my debt 1 call later i was in a much better place my debt was around £1500 pcm now after I contacted these amazing people took my debt to £221 pcm im in a much healthier way and position i can now breath and looking forward toʻ being debt free thank you all so much absolutely amazing service

I honestly cannot recommend The Insolvency Group enough.

I entered into an IVA in November 2021 with thousands of pounds of debt and feeling completely overwhelmed, a new hormonal mum to a second child. At the time, the IVA felt like a lifeline. It made my payments manageable and gave me a way forward when I genuinely didn’t know what else to do. My IVA was due to finish this December, so I felt like I was finally seeing light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Unfortunately, along the way my circumstances changed significantly. I became a single mum and also experienced health problems which meant my income was no longer what it had been when I entered into the IVA.

Then, to make matters even more stressful, I sold my car in order to buy another one. I genuinely had no idea that this could be classed as a windfall, particularly as the car hadn’t been listed as an asset, so I believed selling it to replace it would be completely fine. Sadly, I was wrong, and I suddenly found myself facing the possibility of a significant windfall charge. Despite never missing a payment.

The first variation meeting didn’t go well, with creditors understandably unhappy about potentially receiving less than expected. At this point I was incredibly worried about what the outcome would mean for me.

This is where Kit was absolutely amazing.

She went above and beyond to prepare for the second variation meeting. She listened to my circumstances, gathered and presented evidence of the changes in my health, personal situation and income, and made sure the creditors had a full understanding of what had happened.

Thankfully, with this additional information, the creditors agreed to wipe the windfall charge AND, even better, agreed to allow my IVA to be completed early.

As of today I am now officially finished with my IVA! I am absolutely elated, a weight has truly been lifted.

The last few months have been filled with worry and uncertainty, but I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. I am incredibly grateful to Kit for her hard work, compassion and support throughout what has been a very stressful situation. She made me feel listened to and supported when I really needed it.

Entering an IVA can feel incredibly daunting, especially when you’re already struggling with debt, but my experience with The Insolvency Group has ultimately given me a way forward and, now, a fresh start.
