Great place

The Gym is spacious lots of equipment to choose from, with clear instructions of how to use them.
Clean and tidy throughout.
Fresh water to refill your own bottles.
Vending machine available.
Staff are friendly always willing to support you at any point in your journey.
Everyone is welcome no matter your ability. Disabled access, toilet and shower room.

Was kicked out over my foot wear then the gym staff lied and said I had aloud someone else to use my pin in order to ban me. The gym is filled with underaged kids but is more concerned about my foot wear

Have not been a gym goer for a number of years and my wife and I spent some time choosing one from the wide variety in Swindon. We’re very glad we heeded the reviews and chose the Gym Group. This place is great. It’s not our closest gym to home, but just what we wanted; plenty of kit, with the perfect mix of machines, free weights and cardio, plenty of space, an ideal temperature, really friendly and helpful staff and it’s not roaming with muscle-bound gym-bros, just people who want to work on themselves.
The technology works brilliantly, with an app telling you how many people are in at any given time, and letting you in and out through the doors. There’s WiFi, plenty of parking and NO unpleasant smell! Couldn’t be happier.

The Swindon Gym staff homophobic rude, threatening behaviour, they will change the rules to suit themselves, I was threatened with arrest for wearing Ugg boots

Upgraded my mebership to ultimate so I could utilise the bring a friend feature. Tried bringing someone with me after upgrading and the code they sent them didn't work. Pressed the help button at the gym and had no answer after waiting 15 minutes. I paid the £10 "admin" fee, don't know how you can have an admin fee when all I'm doing is INCREASING my membership and I've already paid a joining fee, and I wasn't even able to use the main feature I bought it for. Tried emailing them and just got 2 automated responses that didn't help at all. Tried using the chat and they just said they would look into it and take 24 hours to come back meanwhile I'm paying for a service that I can't use. Not good enough for a company of this size to have such poor customer service. Now considering downgrading my membership or cancelling it and going somewhere else entirely.

UPDATE: Sent an email to the email they said to response to and still no reply.

Staff incredibly rude, was interrupted on an important phone call. Because for some reason you can't have a phone to your ear in the gym. It's super busy at all times too will never go back

I joined 15th May 2023, really friendly clean gym cannot fault it. Atmosphere just perfect, everyone just getting on with their training, you don't feel uncomfortable. I also sighed up with a gym instructor, which has helped me to get fitter to push myself to the next level. With no one looking at you. First time ever I have found the perfect gym in Swindon with friendly people, too, and a professional gym instructor. Jake he pushes you and motivates you to reach your goals. As I am in remission after chemotherapy, sometimes you need someone to help you to get where you used to be. You also know deep inside that you have got this and can do it, after suffering from lympedema the exercise, combined with weights have helped along side with the PT who knows your struggles so am happy as I can see the results.

The Gym Group @ Greenbridge is perfect for me as I work just around the corner and can fit a session in during lunchtime.
In fact whenever I go there is always equipment available to me.
It's clean and the staff are very helpful should I need advice.

Really well presented gym, always spotless. Staff super helpful if any issues arise. One of the best in Swindon for sure as an overall package and for the money, it probably is the best in Swindon. Great work. Thanks.

Despite the cheap rates the Swindon club is always cleaned to the highest standards and it makes you feel positive and welcome from the moment you step in. I've been training with James for some time now and the great thing with him is he knows my limits better than I do and pushes me me harder than I would myself. Really happy with the results. Great venue, great staff, cheap price. What's not to like ?

Just getting worse and worse. No longer 24 hour. Half the lights have been turned off, presumably cost saving. Female GA in and out of male changing rooms with no signs up. Constant bring a friend, so it gets extremely busy at off peak. Worst of all every few months they close for days for an apparent “refresh” although on return nothing has changed! Body fat in showers still there, so god knows what they’re refreshing and obviously you don’t get reimbursed for any closure. Purely still going due to location.

I joined this gym when it arrived in Swindon. I had high hopes for this gym, but sadly, it is progressively deteriorating. Not a great gym experience.

POSITIVES!
(1) EQUIPMENT: A "good" standard and you can usually get on a piece of equipment without long waits. Also, it is a spacious space.
(2) STAFF: On the whole courteous, but I have had a couple of negative interactions with 2 PTs (rude and unhelpful at the time).

COULD DO BETTER!
(1) TOILETS: An absolute disgrace. More often than not, toilets don't flush and this leads to blockages. It really is disgusting!
(2) STENCH: On numerous occasions, a foul odour fills the gym. Not sure if it emanates from toilets or pipes. It makes you want to gag. Again, disgusting!
(3) CLASSES: Today I tried to attend a HIIT class. The instructor didn't show. Why do I or anybody else have to chase an instructor to see if they're going to deliver a SCHEDULED class? This is not the first time it's happened. Never a communication if a class is cancelled NOR an apology (from manager) if there is a "no show" instructor. Also, many times you get the feeling the instructors don't want to be there. So, why not just not offer classes and be done with it?
(4) NO LONGER 24/7: This gym which I joined because it was sold as a 24/7 gym is no longer so. Hours have been changed and I don't recall any communication to inform members that this was happening. Why have I paid membership for a 24/7 gym that is no longer open 24/7?
The signage outside the gym still reads 24/7.
(5) ENTRY/EXIT: The amount of times I have struggled to enter or exit the gym is absolutely ridiculous! I mean, how can even access to the gym be a struggle.

I'm rethinking my membership to this gym. Thankfully, I'm a member of another gym. But, I just don't think this gym offers a decent experience even for a budget gym. Not good enough, could do/be better!

When I asked for a walkaround before joining, this was never an issue. Jake was very helpful, explaining how things worked and what the whole process was. Since joining 2 weeks ago, I have gone by myself, at various times of the day and I have not felt intimidated by anyone and I just listen to my music and show my gym face🤪

The gym Swindon very well set up massive space loads off equipment all you need and more, I have an open membership so I go many off the gym group up and down the country and this is by far the best gym I've been to, highly recommend.and lee the personal trainer there lovely fella can't help you enough.....

The staff are always friendly and I really enjoy coming here

Back ground music far to loud,I have spoken to staff about this but they think its ok.
