Wow - such a simple but really lovely idea for a present. I LOVE my new cherry chopping board. I'm thinking I might get one for my friend's wedding.....have you got any offers on at the moment?

I received a carving board for a Christmas present, and whilst it looked lovely to begin with, after first use I was utterly disappointed. The board is obviously made from cheap oak, the grain came up so it's looks and feels awful....which is incredibly unhygienic, breeding ground for all sorts of germs and bacteria to breed!!

I ordered a carving board for my father for Christmas and had to have a look before wrapping it. A high quality board, beautifully packaged! Delivery was super fast even so close to Christmas.
A fantastic personalised gift!

I recently bought an oak chopping board for my son and daughter-in-law and arranged to pick it up personally on my way down to see my granddaughters in Devon. Owing to traffic I was much later than I intended but not only did Andy wait for me to arrive,,despite having a very young baby at home to get back to, he gave me guidance every step of the way to his workshop from the M5 and greeted me warmly. Nothing's too much trouble, he's super knowledgeable about the wood he uses, and quite frankly he's prepared to go more than the extra mile to give great service. Thanks Andy. The chopping board's brilliant by the way!

Having seen an ad in the Daily Telegraph, I visited the excellently clear website and immediately ordered several boards as Christmas presents. These were promptly delivered and the recipients were delighted.

Brilliant customer service. I needed to change the delivery address at very short notice - not a problem. And the block itself is stunning; an absolutely unique gift!!

If your looking for that special present you wont be dissapointed. I would highly recommend this company,my board arrived well packaged and beautifully presented was over the moon with the detail of the engraving.

I ordered two as Christmas presents, and saw neither as they went directly to the lucky recipients. Apparently they are beautiful, and although clearly practical, are more likely to be displayed as 'objects d'art' than stained with the juices of a roast!!

I knew I was after a carving board for my husbands Christmas present but had left it a little late especially for a personalised product. I googled Oak Carving board and came across two companies. The first was Double the price and had a three week lead time compared to the second company I found - The Chopping Black company. They exceeded all my expectations and dispatched it the next day. It arrived beautifully packaged and looked amazing with the personalisation and quality. My husband was so pleased and it now has pride of place on the worktop.
