Year out of date skin care product
Giving another review because I've just realised after getting a rash on my face that in my last big order with tesco, they sold Aveeno cream for sensitive skin which was one whole year out of date. It was on special offer and now I know why. When I phoned to complain they offered me a £5 goodwill gesture and said they'd pass the information on to the relevant team. Seriously, that's how much Tesco care about it's customers.
The agent was more concerned about me giving feedback for the call and said to remember that the feedback is for the call and not about the product they had sold me. They just want you off the phone as quickly as possible patting you on the head with a voucher as if you should be grateful. When I voiced that I wasn't pleased with the outcome because I have a red raw rash on my face, the agent just advised I should see a doctor about it. One more reason to never shop with them again. Check for expiry dates on skin products.
Disappointed
Recently had a home delivery from Tesco.com. The milk I ordered had a 6+ days shelf life advertised however the milk received expired the day after receiving. Fresh fruits were of unsatisfactory condition and part of the order was out of stock. Looks like Tesco.com are trying to shift all unwanted store items to home delivery. Very disappointing.
Avoid cashing in clubcard points for hotel stays.
Tried over 2 days to use clubcard points vouchers on a Hotel booking. Impossible. Phoned clubcard twice, nice agents but no real help. They offered different advice. The second guys best effort was I was doing something wrong, but he could no say what. The outcome is the points are useless and I had to pay full price for the booking. Highly frustrating. I've tried this three times with different bookings. 1 worked fine. 2, had to cancel, no charge from the hotel but the voucher was lost. 3. Seems to be no way to get the voucher to be recognised by the system. £70 more than I expected. Thanks Tesco. still have the voucher valid for a few months but will have to try and use it on another hotel another time, if I need one and if it works !
Where is the stock Tesco?
The last 3 visits to Tesco store Lee Mill the shelves have been empty, and I mean empty, just empty boxes where the stock had been. The store seems to be very untidy because of this and there are more staff collecting online shopping than customers. The staff doing the online shopping seem to think they have priority over customers and won't let you past or park their trolleys in front of the stock that the store does have. We have decided to visit Lidl or Aldi tomorrow rather than waste our time visiting a store that has no stock.
Tesco New Milton, New Forest
This is about Tesco, New Milton in the New Forest. The second time in 3 weeks there have been no shopping trolleys available as they had not been collected from the car park areas. Over the vegetable aisle/dairy aisle one of the LED strip lights is faulty and is flashing. This has been faulty since before Christmas 2025. Quite a few of the shelves are empty or items are at the back of the shelves, inaccessible to those under 6 feet tall. i was approached by 3 separate people today to get these items. There were many items not available unless customers opened New boxes of goods stored at the back of shelves. some were just empty. This is not a one off. Staff at this store are polite and pleasant but I guess the management are trying to run this store on a shoestring.
Visiting the store in longmoor lane Fazakerley
Visiting the store in longmoor lane Liverpool 10. I was sad to witness an elderly man getting scathing looks and intimidating gestures from a shelf stacker. When the man who obviously felt the intimidation asked are you ok to the shelf stacker he responded by moving in the customers space and saying “what’s happening” it’s a term some young people use to confront others.
Disgusted by this I proceeded to the till to be met by a elderly woman on till duty sitting down on her phone and did not acknowledge me for a good 60 seconds while the only person in front of the till. I ended up using the self service which I hope I future replaced all the staff and in the store.
Poor customer service from the staff but the security guard was the only one to acknowledge my hello.
Don’t bother at this store and go to the Aldi or Lidl and get treated like a customer.
Systemic Failure of Packing & Delivery System
My order was delivered with half the order missing and even after a return delivery that day two items were still missing.
The Driver took note of those items and said they would be refunded.
I was also due a refund in respect of a substitute item as it was less expensive than the original item ordered. When no refunds were forthcoming by the next day I contacted Tesco on 03332227070.
I was told that it could take up to 3 days before a refund could be made.
This was a surprise as I had received refunds especially in respect of substitutes the day after the delivery.
Four days have now elapsed and still no refunds have been made. I keep wondering how Tesco HQ would feel if I took 4 plus days to pay for my groceries.
Please note in the interim Tesco have been happy to harass me with constant emails to use their other services and to complete their surveys.
Given their appalling lack of customer facing I am looking to use another grocery delivery service.
Clubcard scam needs investigating
Is Tesco Clubcard an organised corporate scam? I received an e-mail from Tesco telling me I had clubcard vouchers that were going to expire at the end of the month. I took those vouchers into my local store today. When I tried to redeem them the checkout operative told me they had already been redeemed. They hadn't. This is the second time this has happened. Last time it was about £20 in vouchers, this time £22.50. So, over £40 in vouchers that I have earned by shopping there and they declare have already been used when I know they haven't. I want to get to the bottom of this, it could be that someone has hacked my clubcard account and is able to redeem my vouchers. If this is the case then Tesco have a security breach in their system. It could be a universal Tesco clubcard scam which would obviously need exposing to the wider public. It could be my local store is running the scam to avoid taking vouchers for payment, which Tesco need to know about. There could be a whole number of reasons. I can't get to the bottom of it though because they have no staff in customer service on a Sunday. Not a good look Tesco, not a good look at all.
Burnley good store spoiled by penny pinching.
The store not what it use to be, it looks like a bean counter at work and causing problems for the shopper.
They don't put anyone on the tills till 6.30am then its only one, and then Saturdays when the store full well before 8am they only have one till open, the other week there were 5 people with trolley's full waiting to get through the only counter open and it's not a rare occurrence with a lot waiting to go though the only open attended checkout, which shows a disrespect for customers.
Then the escalator to the car park been out of order all year, and this morning even the lift was as well.
It's a shame as the staff are really friendly and never too much trouble to help.
I visited Tesco in Dorchester yesterday…
I visited Tesco in Dorchester yesterday and I had to write a review - I wanted to write to Tesco Dorchester directly but I can’t seem to find an email address……
So……
AMAZING, OUTSTANDING AND EXCEPTIONAL customer service! I was at the till and the lady who was working at the till went above and beyond to help the customer infront of me. She helped load the lady’s heavy items into the trolley without being asked and was so bubbly and polite - my son asked why I was smiling and I said that’s a true act of kindness and exceptional customer care! The lady working had a name tag “Helen” and joined Tesco in 2015.
So Helen I hope this reaches you through Tesco so they can commend you on your exceptional customer service! You truly are outstanding and uplifted my spirits! Never ever stop being you!
Please pass this on Tesco as she truly is a credit to Tesco!
I shop at Tesco Holland Park almost…

Bits of meat packed together displayed as a fillet steak !!
Purchased two ‘Tesco Finest’ 210g fillet steaks at £10.50 each & when opened one is in two pieces put together to make one… Disgusting way to deceive customers & over charge for an improper displayed product for sale. Really angry in this days cost of living. :-((((
TESCO PRECOOKED BACON RASHER, LIKE PLASTIC.
tesco brand cooked bacon ,plastic felt like plastic in mouth never will we buy again.
I waited for an hour due to an unscheduled clodure.
I checked the website for opening hours at Thirsk branch and it says it was open until 21.00 hrs but got there to find it closed from 4.30pm until 5.30pm for "lunch". I finally got my prescription at 5.45 after an hours wait. The staff were fine and helpful but something is amiss with management or staffing. No one should have to wait for an hour for medicines.

Club card issues declined because i had a screen print
Club card issues …Went to Tesco to do shopping and buy meds for hayfever.went to till to pay the lady at the till pointed out i could not use a screen print of my card. Need the app. My app is loaded on to my ipad due to space on my phone . I was so embarrassed and told can’t use the club card . We are a small family they could have checked my credit card and allowed it once . I had to walk out with no shopping . What blooded rewards for the sake of 2 pounds or 5 quid .. turning customers away . So stupid. Apparently i was breaking the law and could be reported . Well pls do
Simple shocking service.
Absolutely disgusting service from Tesco home delivery today. We arrived home from a holiday in the early hours to a home devoid of food. My husband has been ill whilst away so the delivery was very much needed as the shop had been built around his requirements.
Initially, everything appeared normal; email confirming substitutions, etc. We rushed out to collect our dogs from the kennels and subsequently rushed back to take delivery of the food order. Now at 15:45, we have no food. We cannot leave the house again in case it arrives and the customer service department can’t reach the local store/distribution centre to establish if the delivery is definitely arriving. In this day and age with the communication systems we have this is crazily bad service.
We’re currently reviewing our subscription service, not because they’ve not delivered one delivery, but very much the manner in they’ve not delivered it.
Tesco is the worst supermarket ever
Tesco is the worst supermarket ever. Con customers into spending more for Clubcard points then doesn’t give them out. Complaint department is non existent.
Staff damaged our goods
I’m not surprised Tesco are rated poor on Trustpilot. I’ve just had a bad experience at their Wellingborough branch. A member of their staff at self checkout carried out a random check of our shopping, ok fine, but instead of stacking the food items back in our shopping bags to prevent damaged goods, instead just dumped it in the bags damaging the food that we were expected to then pay for when I mentioned this I was told by the staff member that I was being rude, I called for the manager and the damaged bread was replaced, the manager said they would reiterate to the staff on how they should stack customers shopping.
Tesco Gatwick extra
I had two instances of damage to my car in the Tesco Gatwick car park. I reported it and filed a complaint online, but they didn't even respond. One of the managers said they didn't have cameras. It's a third-world place
