Cake was very dry
Cake was very dry, really expensive for the cheap ingredients he uses and had to wait 6 months
Website says 'handmade' but Terry tells us it isn't
There is a lot of hype around this guy but I was genuinely interested to actually try some of his bakes. He is so 'popular' that there is currently a 20 week wait. Went on his website that makes it very clear than his bakes are 'handmade' . However yesterday I happen to notice a TikTok post where around the absolutely atrocious foul language, that Terry thinks anyone is stupid if they think any of his products are handmade! He prides himself that for his cookie dough Bakewell pies the dough is from Asda, white chocolate spread shop bought and latest offers (Bakewell Tarts) from Tesco's for the filling. 'Apparently' handmade means chucking it all in a tin and baking it and you pay £20 plus postage for the privilege! Stay clear of this so called 'baker'.
Terry Bakes Cakes Worth Waiting For.
Terry Bakes made no secret that his orders had got behind and was working hard to catch up. He also offered refunds to anyone who found the wait too long. I appreciated his honesty about the delay being his fault and his determination to work hard and catch up with the orders. I ended up waiting 6 months for my Mystery Box, which wasn't a problem... it was cakes not something critical that I couldn't survive without for several months. When my Mystery Box arrived I and my partner were very pleased with all four cakes and have no complaints - they were all fresh and very tasty. In fact, I've just ordered another Mystery Box which should be here by October.
Was going to order untill I see a video…
Was going to order untill I see a video of him hitting his dog with a stick and also watched a video that was live of him talking to a young bunch of lads and a lady on the video talking absolute filth to these boys...I hope the police have been to you and hope you have had tour dog taken of u as this person needs locking up for the acts he done...absolute vile...
Never support a person like this...
Not good and certainly not worth the price and wait time.
These were terrible, the brownie had a weird texture, the chocolate cake was dry and the cornflake cake tasted stale. The cookie one was just about edible, you can definitely tell he uses cheap ingredients. Certainly very overpriced and the wait time (6 months I waited) is shocking, it stated 15 weeks when I ordered.
Had cakes from Terry and found a hair…
Had cakes from Terry and found a hair in my food they refunded me but still isn’t good enough.
Was about to order but then saw a video…
Was about to order but then saw a video of a greasy box. Realised the grease is from the baking spread that is used. This prompted me to look further and I decided not to pay for low quality products. I’m glad I realised and quickly removed the item from my basket.
It would not be worth the money or the wait.
I was also put off by the lack of details on the website- It does not seem like a safe or legitimate “business”
12 weeks wait slowly turning into 6 months
Ordered October 13th and still not received them. 12 weeks wait is slowly going past 6 months.
Messaged twice via Instagram where little to no help offered. Would get a refund but after this long it’s not worth the hassle
If I could give a no stars I would
If I could give a no stars I would. Ordered on the 3rd January. Asked for a refund because Nikita said they were still working on orders from September. Haven’t heard a thing back. Nikita was very blunt over email as well. Disgusting…do not order from here they’ll keep your money and not send you anything.
Food was inedible
Food was inedible, wait was ridiculous don't order from this guy. Ingredients are cheap. And theres a video circulating social media of him talking sexually to minors. Disgusting man.
Decided not to order as zero contact…
Decided not to order as zero contact details as of today on website and it looks like others have had alot of issues when I googled having to do chargebacks through banks or refunds have been through another company doomofspoon Surely that's illegal?
No contact details in case of a problem.
I went to order a mystery box this morning having found this local trader via TikTok, but waited, having seen that there was stock, then no stock, and stock again, but he was advising of a long wait(4+ months, surely not true?). Although I then saw that they have absolutely NO CONTACT details on the website. I decided to abort my order, having dealt with some poorly behaving companies in the past. (Please see my review history).
Surely its not legal to have absolutely NO CONTACT details for a business trading in the UK?
I can guarantee that I am a real human!
Then I saw some dodgy videos on Facebook, I'm happy not giving this man any of my money.

Yes its a long wait but that is stated before you order
I waited 5 month and it was worth the wait the delivery time was excellent sent sat arrived sun
All cakes were big enough to share and were all good my favourite was the bakewell cookie
Would 100% recommend
Just remember its a long wait
Disappointing experience last year
Was seduced by the large following on fb and the new bakery in his garage he had trades do in exchange for free cake last year. Wanted to support a home baker and ordered hoping they would arrive in time for my birthday even with the 12 week wait, unfortunately they arrived early May and the standard was such I could not eat more than half a cake which was quite greasy and upset my stomach. I gave them away to someone with an industrial stomach. I have ordered from other home bakers and had much better experiences for a fraction of the price of Terry's. I unfollowed immediately and have only just been reminded of the experience because of a local newspaper article from other customers complaining of quality and wait times. It seems things have gone from bad to worse in fact. Avoid!

I can't with any honesty say the cake I waited 4 months for was any better than something out of tescos.
Spend less time setting up go fund me's and more time learning your craft, also a splatter guard might be a wise investment spitty mcgee.
This guy is just a social media no…
This guy is just a social media no body. I never received my order, I would also like to point out if you ever watch his videos, the amount of saliva that is coming out of his mouth over the cakes is revolting. It’s a shame because this business could be good but it’s just a joke now.
Took forever to arrive!!
Took forever to arrive!!! Made with cheap ingredients!! Not worth it! 2 out of 10 at a push!
6 month wait for probably the worst…
6 month wait for probably the worst cakes I’ve ever tried. Stay clear also seen on social media he beats dogs and talks to underage children inappropriately
Order took months
Order took months, very dry cake, cheap ingredients ie margarine instead of butter for icing , would not order again seems a sham bakery run fron a shed in garden
The cakes were delicious!
I ordered in September, I was told it would be a 12 week wait. Thats ok, it turned out to be longer, nearly 6 months. I didn't mind, no rush. If you know they take a while its a lovely surprise when they arrive.
I started reading all the comments on here. Bad service, bad packing, bad cakes and the list goes on.
All I can say is...
My cakes arrived...
They were DELICIOUS!!
No problem with the packaging, the cakes were so big I cut each one into 4, they were not dry or damaged.
I will be ordering more.
