We book firstly because of the good reviews at last minute due to our original cleaner cancelling, they wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive option but we went in the middle mainly due to reviews.
Firstly the landlord had been in to paint, so there was paint on a few items, I told them leave them just do what was booked
(Also I should mention the landlord was there on the day doing bits to the driveway with his work van so had lots of tools including ladders)
We arrived to do an inspection
First thing front door dirty cobwebs still on the back, not been touched
Look though into the living room dirty mop had been used the floor was really streaky
Go into the conservatory not cleaned( apparently no ladder had been provided, when we booked they didn’t ask for a ladder)
Go to go upstairs on a freshly painted white wall black deep rubber scruff marks from a hoover and banisters hadn’t been touched
Carpets in the wardrobes haven’t been done just left with dust in them.
Thanks to this company we are down roughly the £300 we paid them and whatever our old landlord wants to take off us for now having to repaint and get a different cleaning company in due to him not wanting to use them as new tenants moving in soon
They have offered to come back and paint and clean however I have told them multiple times we are no longer the tenants and cant do that.
Due to their unprofessional behaviour on the day the landlord doesn’t want them back.
Our settlement offer £40
They also replied to a complaint email that was long in 1 minute 58 seconds meaning they definitely didn’t understand the problem
Update as writing this they have said with the photos we had shared the £40 was a fair offer
When a quick google search just for painting the stairs and not doing a crap patch work is £150+
I’ve had to do another edit post the reply, we tried to speak to someone about this matter, apparently no one is available to answer even though yesterday they replied to a full email in less that 2 minutes
We have also been charged or will be charged for another full clean so £300 and The damage also will be coming out of our deposit once they have found an appropriate price.
Also it say about tool the landlord had, he was outside cleaning the driveway and wasn’t present inside the building
The company said they are willing to work with us however won’t talk to us

When the concerns were raised, we offered all possible solutions to resolve the matter, including a full re-clean and repainting the affected wall area. Unfortunately, none of these options were approved, and we were not given the opportunity to return and rectify the issues.
Regarding the wall, the mark mentioned was an accidental scuff caused during the cleaning process, not intentional damage. We fully accepted responsibility for this and offered to repair and repaint the area properly. We are still happy to rectify this if access can be arranged.
For the conservatory, we only use stepladders for safety reasons and do not use full ladders during cleaning services. Any areas that cannot be safely reached with a stepladder may not be completed.
We also note that the property had ongoing works by the landlord on the day, including tools and equipment present, which can affect the final presentation after cleaning.
We regret that this situation could not be resolved to your satisfaction, but we remain open to addressing the wall issue if access becomes available.

Great quality but felt over charged
Arrived on time a team of 3 for a 1 bed flat end of tenancy. Very polite and friendly got on with it and cleaned to a great standard. Took less than 5 hours. The booking process was easy and simple. Down side is judged a price from photos of when booked and all belonging still in photos. This cause them to almost double the original price. In summary I would do it again but use another company as I felt I was overcharged and researching more there are alot of others out there cheaper (ref #42232).

To clarify, we priced the job based on the photos you provided at the time of booking, even though the property still contained personal belongings. When our team attended, the flat was vacant, and despite that, it still required a team of 3 cleaners working for nearly 5 hours to complete the job to the required standard.
This reflects the actual level of work involved and confirms that the final price was based on the real condition and workload at the property, not simply whether items were present in the photos. We’re pleased to hear you were happy with the quality of the clean, but we do believe the price was fair for the amount of labour and time required on the day.

Poor customer service.
The clean was to a good standard. However on vacating the property, the cleaners failed to lock our front door correctly but forcing and jamming the mechanism. Yherefore locked us out the property completely. We were due to have our new tenant's arrive and therefore had to call out an emergency locksmith to rectify the problem they caused. The doorlock was new and installed correctly and had been working just the day before for our estate agent. No one had been in after the cleaners left so theres no one else at fault. My partner had to take time off work to try and gain entry to the property and now Tenacy Cleaning are refusing to offer any compensation or even an apology for the issues they've caused. I wouldn't recommend using them if you value good customer service.

We would like to clarify that the door was left closed but locked, and based on the information provided, the issue appears to be with the lock mechanism itself rather than the way it was handled. A properly functioning lock should not jam or fail when being used normally, which suggests a fault with the installation or the lock mechanism.
As mentioned previously, this would be a matter to raise with whoever installed the new lock, as it appears to be defective. Unfortunately, this is not something caused by the cleaning process itself.
We understand this was an inconvenient situation, especially with new tenants due to arrive, and we regret the disruption caused.

We had initially booked the job via another company, but ZA Cleaning Team ended up doing it for us in Scotland, and I’m glad they did. The whole process was smooth, and we got our deposit back without any hassle. Great experience overall!
