Shirt was very cute style and quality also nice...but size ran small. I am always a XS/S... so I ordered small (which when arrived had a tag of 1)...I am familiar with TB way of sizing, 1,2,3, etc. but because this shirt was listed as coming XS, S, M, etc., I chose the S because of the style and fabric and cross checking my measurements with TB sizing guide. This was definitely not a S. The sizing description should have listed the sizes as they appear in the garment. I am returning because of the fit. I had to pay $10 to return which under these circumstances, I felt was unfair since listing was not accurate.

Hat was enormous, in no way a medium! Between the $10 return charge, what I’m out for shipping and the time to get this back to FedEx, it’s a total loss.
Postscript: while disappointed about the hat, Ted Baker customer service promptly contacted me after my initial review (1 star) and offered a full refund. They were super helpful and understanding, and I’m pleased to say it’s now been received. Will order from them again in the future if I see something of interest.

Can you imagine buying a £60 pair of pjs as a gift, paying £6 for next day delivery ( received 4 days later) then receiving the wrong size. Sent xl instead of M. Contacted via the web chat to be told “ send them back but we can’t replace them as we can’t guarantee it won’t happen again .. oh and don’t re order as your size is not in stock “ So what they are saying is don’t order anything as they can’t guarantee they can send the right size. I’m in disbelief that a company of this size & at these prices can practice business this way. I have shopped for years with this brand, never again. Also told I won’t get my £6 postage back, just the value of the pjs ?? Why it was your fault. The webchat basically shows that the just sent out what they had instead of refunding. To add insult to injury, the size M is still available on the website to buy. I now have to wait for a refund & have no gift. Order number 568612.

They had a beutiful maroon handbag which my daughter bought me from John Lewis which I have only recently started using
The quality is beyond appalling
The stitching is coming undone from the lining at the top of the bag and also on the handles
This is not what I would expect from this company or from a product purchased at John Lewis Very disappointed and would never buy a handbag made by Ted Baker again

Worst experience ever with Ted Baker. Ordered boots from website and supposedly delivered today by EVRI to the collection point. Got to the collection point and the sales assistant scanned the EVRI code only to be told it has to returned to EVRI in their system. No actual human to speak to at Ted Baker nor EVRI. Abysmal service from both. TB don’t respond to emails or chats. Obviously some ignorant jobsworth working at both companies!

Ordered a lovely hat in the sale . The hat was far too big so started the refund process and sent it back. It took nearly 2 weeks for them to acknowledge the return and then refund me £32! They kept £6.95 for postage! I have asked them why and no answer!

Poor Quality disguised as luxury
I bought an expensive leather bag from their flagship store. Just after a year the leather started chipping off, making the bag worthless and not worth using or taking out. Happy to share a picture but there is no option.

I ordered some men’s slippers. They were not true to size. I never have a problem ordering shoes online but they were so small they weren’t even close to fitting. They had also clearly been worn before (probably by other people who found they weren’t true to size either) which isn’t nice for a product that’s not been made to be washable and the box arrived damaged. Despite complaining, I then had a pay to return them. Having made the journey to the DPD drop off I found the QR code Ted Baker had sent didn’t work and had to contact customer services for another and make another trip out to return the item. Overall I’ve been charged twice for shipping and had hours of my time wasted and the only apology was sent by Tedbot. I now understand why they went into administration.

This company does not care about the customer. I ordered a black crossbody straight from the Ted Baker website. The crossbody had the embossed writing on the front with a striped crossbody strap.
However, the purse I received looked nothing like the purse I purchased from the website. Instead of the emboss writing, the purse they sent me has a silver plating on the front that said Ted Baker. Also the purse i received came with a Bloomingdale’s receipt. Like I said earlier I ordered straight from their website. I reached out to their chat system and the agent told me that I 100% received the right purse it just may “look different in certain lighting” and that a replacement could not be sent because it’s not guaranteed I’ll receive the correct item.
I spoke with another agent who told me the same thing. They gaslight their customers. Sad part is they know they dropped the ball on my order but they have not tried to resolve this issue. I will NEVER purchase from these scamming fraudsters again.
