Surrey Home Removals Reviews 

SHR were hired to pack and move our house. The quote was in the middle of the three prices we received. The packing team (three people) arrived when they said they would and did a walkthrough of the property labelling rooms to their equivalent destinations in our new home.

They diligently packed using specialist boxes for pictures, tvs and screens. The process took about 6 hours. The team took scheduled breaks and were pleasant and helpful throughout.

Packing day was smooth with 4 vans turning up and the house was emptied in around 3 hours. (5 people on site.) The team made sure to park their vans where they minimised inconvenience to our neighbours.

When arriving at the new house they realised that the drive was too steep to get the vans up and thus had to move the whole four vans worth across a road, up a deeply gravelled drive (which is like walking up a sand dune) and into the house and garden beyond. The team regrouped and made a game of it. I was done after about 10 journeys. They carried on for 4 hours only taking breaks when each van was emptied while remaining cheerful and polite throughout.

Finally after making sure everything was where we wanted it, we signed off, and were saying our goodbyes when one of the team asked of if I wanted help levelling the fridge and two of the guys did so. They could have left but they stayed to help. Amazing.

We would like to thank Georgio, Luckasz, Micheal, Grant, Lee and Kamil, for their back breaking, sweat drenched, thigh shaking, calf aching endeavours. Would thoroughly recommend and use again.

The SHR team packed and moved our 3 bed family home over 4 days and were absolutely brilliant. It was early August, middle of school holidays, a week before we were going on holiday, busy at work, heatwave, it was a really stressful time! But the team were great and made sure everything ran smoothly with minimal effort/input required from us.
Jamie's initial call and follow up information filled me with confidence that SHR was the right firm to move our family to our new home. He managed in the background while Lukas managed everything on site and flexed the plan as required over the 4 days. Special thanks to the team who had to clear our jam packed loft on move day, which was the peak of a heatwave with no complaints. Packing was quick, efficient and excellent, no breakages on unpacking.
A huge thank you to the whole move team: Lukas, Harry, Grant, John, Jamie, Bailey, George, Lee, and Andre. And an extra special thanks to Lukas and Harry for being with us throughout the four days and in particular amusing me with their competitive packing technique - if only I could have adopted it in reverse :-)

Fantastic Team!
We had four companies out to quote for our move, and from the moment we met Kieran we preferred his calm, quiet, reassuring manner, so we were hoping the quote was fairly good - which it was!
It was a big move for us from Surrey to Sussex, and the team did everything they could to make it less stressful - they worked so hard in the heat over three days (end June/beginning July), treating us/our belongings/the house with respect, but also having a laugh with us as well - hugely appreciated!
Big shout out to Andre for working out how to get a big/awkward piece of furniture down very narrow loft stairs! The whole team were brilliant - Grant, Andre, Homer, Michael, George, John, Kieran, Harry, James, along with Emma and Jamie who dealt with calls and email queries promptly. We can see why there are so many good reviews about these teams! Many thanks!

James, Andre and Georgi turned up on time (08:30) with both vans fully packed and ready to unload into the new house. All were very efficient, quick and careful with the many boxes and garden furniture etc. They laid down protective floor coverings and were diligent in making sure the right box ended in the correct room. Great service.

Michael, James and Lee were brilliant, kind, patient and very professional. My moving day couldn’t have gone much worse, due to the sellers solicitors. The guys had to come back and move me in the following day!! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Very helpful team of guys. Well done and thank you!

We cannot recommend Surrey Home Removals highly enough and the entire experience was exceptional. From the first contact with Emma in the office, Kieran who did the quotation visit (and some of the packing) and the marvellous team of Lukasz, Bailey, George, Harry, James, and Lee. Very happy with the service we received. Very well organised, a fair quote and a friendly bunch of 6 guys who turned up bang on time on moving day. They helped make the whole experience a lot less stressful than we were expecting. They were all very good humoured throughout and we had a few laughs along the way. They were very careful with all our furniture, even bubble wrapping mirrors and pictures we’d forgotten about. They treated our old property and new one with a great respect. A nicer, politer team you really couldn’t wish to meet. For the record to Andre, Lee, Georgi, James, Lukasz and Bailey a big thank you.

The team were amazing, from start to finish. In advance of our pack and move the advice and reassurance from Emma was invaluable. Over the two days (packing and moving) nothing was too much trouble. Every effort was made to make sure we were happy, things were packed carefully and the guys were so polite and friendly. I cannot recommend them enough. Absolutely brilliant, from packing to unpacking. We used the packing service as well and was excellent. The team of Andre, Luckasz, Homer, John, Lee and Harry were quick, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure it was as easy for us as possible.

Very efficient removal company. The guys, Lucas, Bailey and Lee have been an amazing team of guys. They took less than 3 hours in and out, loading and unloading and assembling and disassembling furniture, etc. etc. they have been absolutely fabulous, I cannot fault them in the slightest!
