I have been a Suno member for 9 months. Suno struggles mightily to follow instructions when creating new music from an existing demo. For example, I have had to create literally dozens of clips just... See more

Dear Suno AI Development Team,
Dear Suno AI Development Team,
I would like to share some constructive feedback based on my experience with Suno, particularly when creating Progressive Metal.
One of the biggest problems I repeatedly encounter is that Suno often adds musical elements that are not requested and, in some cases, are explicitly excluded.
For example, when my lyrics begin directly with "[Verse 1]" and contain no "[Intro]" section whatsoever, Suno frequently generates an instrumental intro before the vocals anyway. Even when I explicitly state that there should be no intro, no instrumental opening, and that the vocalist should enter from the very first bar, Suno may still create an intro.
This is especially frustrating because the generated intro can completely change the intended character of the song. I am not asking Suno to creatively invent a different song structure; I am providing a specific structure that I want it to follow.
Another important issue is instrumental continuity. I often specify that melodic lead guitars should continue playing underneath the vocals, supporting the vocal melody rather than stopping or switching into a call-and-response pattern. Nevertheless, Suno sometimes removes the guitars when the vocals enter or creates large gaps between vocal and guitar phrases.
The same problem occurs with production elements. If I explicitly exclude orchestral, symphonic, cinematic, synth or other elements, I would expect those instructions to be respected. Instead, Suno sometimes introduces exactly those elements anyway.
I understand that generative music requires interpretation, and I appreciate the creative aspect of Suno. However, there should be a clearer distinction between creative interpretation and ignoring explicit production instructions.
It would be extremely helpful if future versions could give stronger priority to explicit structural and negative instructions, especially:
- No intro means no instrumental intro.
- If the lyrics start with "[Verse 1]", the music should begin with that section.
- If vocals are requested from the first bar, the vocalist should actually enter from the first bar.
- Explicitly excluded instruments or production styles should not be introduced.
- If continuous guitar accompaniment is requested during vocals, the guitars should remain active.
- Section-specific metatags should have a stronger influence on the actual arrangement.
I really enjoy Suno and think its potential is enormous. My feedback is not about wanting less creativity; it is about having better control over the creativity when the user provides precise instructions.
Thank you for continuing to improve the system. I hope future versions can provide much more reliable adherence to explicit structural, instrumental and negative-style instructions.
Best regards
Toy for hobbyists at best
It is decent if you want to play with something, but if you have a specific vision for your music, I'd highly suggest looking elsewhere. The longer the song goes, even if generated in chunks via the extend option, mutliple voices using trained voices, it will drift further and further away from what you ask it to create.
If you're serious about it, look into a local model. You're better off burning your own GPU time than blowing credits on a busted slot machine.
Tech support totally unfit for purpose
This is ok for creating casual or fun songs but the prompt accuracy is hit and miss - it has a mind of its own.
The real issue is that the system is highly unstable. My ability to download WAVs and edit tracks suddenly stopped and despite numerous emails to the company, three weeks on these facilites have not been restored.
Also I am unable to login to Suno on my new computer - another issue that seems beyond the competence of the company's tech support.
Suno mind are still taking monthly payments from me which will be cancellled henceforth. I've given them more than enough to time to sort this farce out. And frankly, there are plenty of other apps out there to choose from and more arriving every week.
It's a real shame that this company fob customers off. Well, they've just lost another.
Charged for "Pro" subscription that…
Charged for "Pro" subscription that doesn't exist anywhere in my account — support ignores refund requests
I was charged $11.90 for "Suno Pro" (receipt #2693-2049-3451, invoice #R5K7REKD-0008, billing period 18.07.2026–18.08.2026) on my Visa card. My account settings page shows "Free Plan" — there is no active subscription visible anywhere, no way to manage or cancel anything, and nothing shows up under Google Play either. So the money is being taken for a subscription that, from the account's own point of view, doesn't exist.
I emailed Suno billing support on July 30 asking them to cancel it, refund the charge, and confirm in writing. Three weeks later — zero response.
Reading other reviews here, this is clearly not an isolated bug: other users report the exact same pattern — charged while the account shows "Free Plan," no way to find or cancel the subscription, support going completely silent. That's not a glitch, that's a pattern.
I'm now filing a chargeback with my bank since Suno won't respond. Do not save your card details with this company.
Do not... I repeat do not purchase Suno!
I wish I would have checked out trustpilot before purchasing anything from this company. I purchased the pro version and paid for a year in advance with the understanding that if I decided I did not want it within 7 days I can quit. I actually contacted them to try to upgrade to Premiere but could not unless I was willing to pay for a whole year Premiere which I could not afford it. So I then requested a cancellation and refund within the first 7 days. It has been 2 weeks trying to get my money back from them for the account that has been canceled that I no longer have access to. The only way to reach customer service is through email and all they tell you is it's going to take time. This company is bogus and should not be allowed to do business in the United States. I only wish that there were laws involved that would make it incredibly uncomfortable for companies like this to treat their customers like that. Oh... and in case you're reading this suno, when I get my money back I will not be using your software anymore.
Terrible app
Terrible app, do not waste your money. Doesn't follow prompts, customer support is beyond terrible and now they are changing their T&C's to better suit them. Waste of money!
No customer support
I provided feedback on discord about suno flagging my own voice as copyright in voices and got banned from discord when people said they suffer the same, tried to contact support over mail about just been banned and no reply for weeks, suno used to be great, i guess not anymore.
i guess u cant write in discord if u have issues with false positives in their new copyright system cause they will just ban u and never answer ur mails.
I wont renew my subscription.

Suno Comercial on youtube suck so bad I want to stop watching youtube all together! "turn up the radio" I hate suno so bad for it cringe advertisment alon I refuse to try it. Such a lame generatrion of commercials that I feel only work on the lazy and small minded.
Complete and utter joke of a platform
Complete and utter joke of a platform, as an actual DAW artist, I used to upload my own human made productions to generate vocals and chord progression ideas, or my full original Ableton and Serum made track to see what they would sound like in genre's I don't produce. That way along with writing the lyrics myself had some control over the output. Now it's impossible to upload anything, I could upload a plain beat with my own 50 year old voice over the top, and be told its infringing someone's copyright!! So it only good for a bunch of talentless prompt pony's using it as a fruit machine to generate 100% ai tracks then head over to TikTok and Instgram and film themselves in front of fake track in Ableton waving their lying hands about pretending they made the track themselves. It's pathetic and sad!
58 emails. Over 2 months without access to my account. And still ZERO response.
Let’s be very clear: this is not simply a “technical issue.”
I paid for a full year of service, and I have been locked out of my account for more than two months.
Since then, I have sent 58 emails to both the *Billing* and *Support* teams.
I have also contacted multiple Suno teams and representatives on LinkedIn.
The result?
No response.
No support.
No follow-up.
Nothing.
At this point, this is no longer a support issue. It is complete disregard for a paying customer.
I paid for a yearly subscription and have been unable to use the service for more than two months.
58 attempts to get help, and not even a single human response.
Suno, your technology may be impressive.
But your customer support is absolutely unacceptable for a company charging customers for its service.
It is about time someone at Suno actually takes responsibility for this case and responds.
Juice Isn't Worth The Squeeze - Awful Customer Service
Just awful customer service. It's a fun site if you just wanna play around. But do not trust it if it's work product or anything important to you. Revisions are a nightmare. It adds/subtract lyrics you don't want or completely changes the feel of the music each time you try to tweak things. You can't go back and easily fine tune a project or make simple lyric changes. And you can forget about getting phone support. It's email only. It's often inaccurate. And it's going to frustrate you more than you can imagine. I literally needed to change one word in a jingle I created on the site. They kept giving me incorrect instructions on how to make the edit. After the fourth time of getting bad information they simply ghosted me. Six unanswered emails. Meanwhile, I had a client waiting on a finished product.
The juice isn't worth the squeeze here.
LIMITED DOWNLOADS as of 2027
This is a good company and I have helped them with testing before. It is very fast and easy to use. The only MASSIVE DOWNSIDE is the fact that as of Septmber 1st 2027, DOWNLOADS ARE LIMATED TO 7 LIFETIME!!! I find this mean, ruel, harsh and upsetting that you have to pay for more. So, suno, if you see this then change your terms!!!
Hell
Well, my opinion won't be any different from the majority, especially today. The platform has decided to block sample downloads, so you will be paying for a service for nothing since you won't be able to download much. Even if you are a songwriter/producer, if your sound happens to resemble one that has already been produced or is cataloged by the platform, its download will be blocked. Pass on this one, use bemusic.ai instead.
What a shameful company
What a shameful company. They sign up lots of users to get early support, then once they raise hundreds of millions of dollars on the back of that early support, they reduce the offering to just a measly 20 downloads per month. No grandfathered-in deal, no thank you for your early support, just pure and unadulterated couldn't-give-a-shit exploitation of their customer base. I honestly hope they implode and someone with more ethics and integrity steps up to replace them. This ia US corporate greed in its most undiluted manifestation.
20 downloads a month?... Shameful
Suscribed to annual Pro plan a couple of months ago, with no download restrictions whatsoever. I do not earn a cent with my edited and generated music but download it to listen to it offline and edit new tracks. If only the integrated Suno Player was remotely good, but it is not. On CarPlay there still is no shuffle function. This is not acceptable in 2026 anymore and that is why I need to download the songs I generate and like.
In addition, the fact that I paid for an annual suscription and now just have to accept the fact that it will be limited to 20 downloads a month starting September 2026 is absolutely shameful. What is the use to get 1,200 credits a month if the generated songs just have to be kept on Suno? I am canceling my suscription and will use another AI music provider. Very bad move, Suno!
Suno is dooming itself with a 20-download limit.
Suno is dooming itself with a 20-download limit.
What's the point of Music Ai Suno if I can't even download my songs (or just a ridiculous 20 of them)? I'd rather go to the competition. It's harder to win back a lost customer than to get a new one.
Changed the deal after taking my money
Changed the deal after taking my money
I have been a paying Suno Pro customer on an annual subscription. I use Suno as part of a genuine daily creative workflow: I create music every day, select the material I actually want to keep, download it, edit it and publish it elsewhere.
Suno has now announced that from September 3 it will impose download limits of 20 songs per month for Pro and 60 for Premier. The change applies even to songs created before the new limits take effect.
That is a substantial change to the service I paid for.
I paid for an annual Pro subscription when downloads were unlimited. I did so on the understanding that I could actually take my own creations out of the platform. Suno has now changed that arrangement during my prepaid subscription and has offered no meaningful grandfathering for annual subscribers.
For someone like me, 20 downloads a month is not remotely adequate. I create daily. I don't download everything Suno generates, but even taking one finished song from each day would put me beyond the Pro allowance.
I could understand introducing limits for new subscriptions. I could even understand changing the pricing structure going forward. What I find unacceptable is selling an annual subscription under one set of conditions and then materially restricting an important part of the service during the period that customers have already paid for.
The obvious solution would have been to honour existing annual subscriptions, or at minimum apply the remaining value of the prepaid Pro subscription toward an upgrade to Premier. Instead, the message to existing customers appears to be: accept the downgrade, pay again, or leave.
So I'm leaving.
I'm now actively looking for an alternative music-generation platform and will be taking my future production elsewhere. Suno has lost my confidence as a service provider, not because its music-generation technology suddenly became poor, but because I can no longer rely on the commercial terms of the service I pay for.
One star. Not because I expected the service never to change, but because I expected the subscription I had already paid for to mean something.
This was the place to be but September…
This was the place to be but September 3rd it doesn't matter if you bought a year or not I found out from online before they sent me an email to tell me they were changing the policies but now if you're on free you can download seven if you're on Pro you can download 20 since I do more than 20 a month they're going to upsell me but they're not going to help me pay the extra 200 bucks a year what a money grab I'll find another provider
Scam Company
Lied about services to get annual subscription then changed what was actually agreed upon after purchase.
I keep paying for this and when ever I…
I keep paying for this and when ever I song is changing and cutting piece and changing entire mode and taking credit for each wrong song this is not fair also stop chnage the mode of music to western from Middle Eastern
