Sunbets are not all bad. Yes, they do seem to have a lot of verification requirements, if not when opening, then definitely when withdrawing.

They requite a copy (masked) of the debit card you are using, photo id, plus one (or two if electronic) forms of proof of address, utility bill, bank etc..

However...

I wanted to withdraw winnings (£2000) on a Sunday evening, after all the documentation was sent (this took approx 45 minutes) I was verified and the money was in my bank account the next day.

Also, they seem to have better "live video" than most bookies (William Hill's tiny video screen comes to mind)... and their prices are not too bad..

there are worse Bookmakers out there in my experience, Betbright for instance..

Stay away bet365 or any other bookies is better or to tel the truth any other bookies is a lot better I should of listened to the reviews worst betting company

Opened account sent all I D in they said everything was fine all of a sudden I deposited £100 the horse I was gonna get was a non runner trued to send money back it came up withdrawal blocked I called them they needed more I D I sent it they keep fobbing me off the guy on the other end said basically your not getting your money back you've got to play it to lose I've tried logging in they've closed the account and theirs no chance of me getting the money back so I will phone up the bank to see if I can pull it back please listen I am not the first to get turned over by a cowboy company I probably won't be the last but please don't waste your time with this company the amount of ID I have sent in was taking the pea the amount of time I have spent on the phone live chat and basically all they are doing is taking the pea out of you

Rubbish company,cs are a joke,sent me a birthday bonus which went to my junk folder,called them to see if it could be reinstated (only 3 days over)didn't want to know,so closed account,far better bookies out there!!

It's not that they've got that many issues really, they're just small, don't accept proper bets and often fail to honour promotions, I've been apologized to on chat and given promotions and I've been told I'm not eligible for the same one when they run it a week later.

As for perfect blackjack, it plays the same (high variance) everywhere, just seems to be another way to force someone to double up and chase losses because 'this must turn my way soon'.

To their credit though at least they allow negative reviews, unlike betway who just report the genuine ones and offer £10 free bets for positive ones!

Gone from the best site to the worse site over night. They are not settling bets correctly I've had to contact them time and time to refunded void or non runners bets I've had to contact them regarding settling winning bets countless times. There advisors dekhan is rude telling me to tone it down I'm in my rights to be mad with sun bets avoid at this time. They need 24 hour maintenance

after placing e/w accumulator bets on horse racing, sunbets marked the placed horses as a lose on several bets, be very careful with this bookmaker. stick to mainstream names pp wh bf etc.. i will not be using sunbets ever again i would recommend you dont either.

Deposited a tenner to avail of the free bet. Then won 30 off the free bet and when i went to withdraw they told me i had to verify my account.

They wanted my passport and a bank statement! Never said anything about verification when I was signing up. Then when I was chatting with customer service they disconnected because I questioned them why they only needed verification when someone is withdrawing. Joke of a company!

Could do 0 star so had to reluctantly put 1 star! Rubbish lay out rubbish cash outs rubbish staff rubbish paper. Didn't get my free bet after depositing what they said

i recently joined sunbets to take advantage of their free bet offer?no problem deposited got the bet but my initial and free bet lost ,so i deposited a second time had another bet and played their casino etc suprisingly i won! happy days, not really ? i attempted my withdrawl told withdrawl was suspended upon account verification ?i contacted them sent them everything they asked for , then they asked for photo id which having recently married had none in my married name ? i provided adequate official documentaion but was continually given the run around!strange they didnt want verification over the several days while i was depositing and losing !! play elsewhere save your money

Asked sunbets to close my account because i felt i was mislead by an email off them offering an epic £10 champions league free bet bundle, so they did, for the sake of a daft tenner, no attempt to persuade me not to close my account or anything, just an email advising me that my account is now closed, i wouldnt recommend them
to anyone now after todays experience, and having been betting online with various bookmakers over the years any problems i have had have been resolved without any mention of account closure!!! All for the sake of a daft ten pound free bet!!

Website often breaks down/freezes, and gets clogged up with old fixtures. Sometimes no in-play betting options at all. Never any responses from customer services.

Odds not bad but no free bets and the ppl running it are clueless. Customer service rude ignorant and lack knowledge.

Had a few issues with sunbet during the early stages of my account but was rectified quickly. Generally I have done very well from the online casino and slots. Fast payouts, usually in your account the next day. Customer service could be better....advice and solutions are not always solved. It depends on who you speak to. Big Time Gaming slots doesn't work on my account despite enquiry as to why this still hasn't been resolved. I'm happy with my account overall.

When you sign up and make your first bet of at least £10 they claim they'll give you a £30 free bet but they don't. They lied about that free bet.

They had no problems me depositing money but soon as wanted to withdraw they wanted verification. Even that was time consuming and they couldn't email back telling me id been verified. Shame they didn't pay out as quickly as they took it

Customer service rude and clueless. Website is freezing alot. I sent screenshots of the site frozen and after first ignoring me they then said there was no problems despite it taking an hour to place a bet as kept losing the bet basket and crashing completely. It's like being back in 2001

Complained again and they closed my account as they didn't like my tone in my emails they said
They said they have teething problems and basically said I should have been more tolerant of the site crashing.
So instead of thanking me and sorting the fault out they closed my account under the premise of responsible gambling hahaha.

No idea how they got a license they're not fit for purpose.
