Terrible shipping…good customer service.

UPDATE:

Customer service (Daphney) were very apologetic, and expedited a second bag to us. Unfortunately the expedited bag and original bag arrived same day, 7 days after my son’s birthday. The original took 13 business days to arrive (19 days total), and the expedited bag took 3 business days (5 days total). But, because both bags were delivered, it was left to me to obtain a return label (at no cost) and find my way to the post office to return one of the bags, a minor inconvenience, granted, but still something I had to do. Will increase my rating by a star to three; overall, I appreciate Daphney very much, and my son does both appreciate and like the bag. But the experience as a whole will probably keep me from ordering from Stubble & Co again.

ORIGINAL:

My son, for whom I ordered a 20L roll-up, still doesn’t have his bag, which was meant to be a birthday gift today.

I ordered the bag on 20 May, granted, in the evening. But, ordered it with 2-5 business day shipping. Having first been given the wrong shipping company and tracking, which required an e-mail to customer service to fix, I finally got the correct tracking information and shipping company from Daphney; for which I was very appreciative. Daphney was very cordial.

But 8 business days later, on my son’s birthday, I see the bag is still sitting in Georgia, a state away, having not moved in three days.

I’m sure the bag is great! But I wouldn’t know for sure because it still hasn’t arrived, and is now late for my son’s birthday.

Daphne was amazing

Daphne was amazing. I recently purchased a gym bag at full retail, was so impressed that I went back for a travel backpack and saw the 10% discount. Within 5 minutes of my email request, Daphne got a discount code to me to apply to my new purchase. Fast and professional.

Great company!

Wow! What a great company to work with. Great products and great staff! Shout to Daphney for helping me with an ordering issue. She got back to me in minutes and sorted my problem. So excited to receive my 40L vacation backpack in time for my birthday, ( happy birthday to me.) Thanks Stubble and Co, really appreciate every thing about you!

My bag needed a repair and they delivered!

My bag needed a repair, I was worried as it was out of a reasonable timeframe, they may not sort it.

But they stood by a quality product, offered a repair and even sent a new bag as the repair was too complex.

That's a brand I can trust.

Stubble are the best

Stubble are the best, simple as. Excellent service all round, I have bought a good few bags from them now, and they were so helpful in giving me advice on a repair for an old faithful roll top that has been used and abused over three years, and will soon be offering a repair service I thiink.

Fantastic 15L bag and top-tier customer service

I am absolutely thrilled with my new backpack! Visually, it is incredibly sleek and low-profile, yet it doesn't sacrifice comfort at all. The ergonomic design distributes weight perfectly, making it exceptionally comfortable to wear all day long, even when fully packed.

I also have to give a massive shoutout to the customer support team. My initial delivery unfortunately got lost in transit via Evri, which was frustrating. However, the team stepped in immediately and sorted everything out for me with zero fuss. Their quick and helpful communication turned a stressful delivery mishap into a stellar customer experience.

High-quality bag, brilliant design, and a team that actually cares about its customers. Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service and quality product.…

When I received 1 parcel instead of 2 and message Stubble &co. about it Daphney immediately replied and assured me that if I don't receive it within 24 hours she will replace it.
And she communicated constantly and then replaced it which I then reveived within 24 hours which I think it was a very good customer service.
I ordered 2 backpacks and both are excellent quality as well.

Excellent backpack — highly recommended

Although this backpack is reasonably expensive, I have to say it is the best bag I have owned.
I have had it and used it regularly since the beginning of March, and it has been excellent. It is comfortable to wear, has plenty of storage and works really well as a mobile office. The main compartment easily holds my leads, folders and other work items, while the overall layout makes it practical for day to day use and travel. I also really like that it fits securely over the handle of my travel suitcase, which is very useful when travelling for work.
My only criticism is that my iPad Air does not fit into the pocket designed for tablets, which was a little disappointing. Other than that, I cannot fault it.
Overall, a very well designed, comfortable and practical backpack. I would definitely recommend it.

Try to return Bag I didn’t like my only…

Try to return Bag I didn’t like my only option to return. It is to pay £50 which is over 50% of what I paid for the Bag in the first place. There were me a £30 refund. Scam.

After you contacted our support team, we provided your return label directly and also offered, as a gesture of goodwill, to refund the full return charge once the bag was received and processed by our returns team to ensure a full refund was received.

Unfortunately, return shipping costs are set by the courier and are largely outside of our control. In fact, the amount charged through our returns portal is subsidised and is lower than the actual cost we incur. Despite this, we were happy to waive the return cost entirely in your case.

At the time of writing, we have not received the returned bag nor has it been shipped back to us.

We always aim to find a fair resolution for our customers and would be happy to assist further should you still wish to return the item.

Very responsive customer service

I addressed their customer service after a bug of their e-mail automation system didn't deliver a newsletter signup discount- Within the hour, I received a friendly reply and a corresponding reimbursement on my order. Looking forward to see if the product quality is on par with customer service!

20L Roll-Top Bag

I bought a 20L roll-top bag from Stubble & Co about 1.5 years ago and used it near-daily since. Unfortunately, zipper for the laptop compartment began to wear and was no longer working correctly. I emailed customer support and within 48 hours had a replacement in-hand. Thanks again for everything, you guys are great.

hybrid backpack 20L

I bought my daughter a hybrid backpack 20l for Christmas and it’s a great item. Stylish and practical. Unfortunately a colleague stood on one of the buckles by accident and broke it. I contacted Stubble & co customer service and I was very impressed by their response. A link was sent to us to enable us to send the backpack to their designated repair company where they replaced the buckle and returned the backpack to my daughter. This was all done within a few days and completely free of charge even though I’d explained that it was accidental damage and not a product fault. Customer service at its very best! Thank you and well done Stubble & co for the great product and even better after sales service.

A loyal customer since 2022

I absolutely love Stubble & Co products. It started with buying a backpack as a gift for a friend, and now both my family members and I own several of their products. I’ve personally owned 7+ items from them and have been consistently impressed with the quality, design, and practicality.
I like the waterproof material that they use on most of their products. It makes my backpack a perfect companion for everyday commutes as a cyclist in bipolar British weathers.

Their customer service team is excellent as well. Especially Daphney, who was incredibly prompt, helpful, and professional throughout. Highly recommended!

Great customer service.

Great customer service.
The straps on my product (no longer sold on Stubble) were flimsy and kept breaking so I sent a complaint and within three days I was sent a new bag from one of their new product lines.

Stubble & Co Customer Service Excellence

I recently contacted Stubble & Co regarding a missing bag clip, looking to buy a replacement.

Within the hour. Daphney from the customer team made contact and advised she had instructed the warehouse team to look for a replacement for me.

To my delight I received a new bag clip the following week.

Excellent attentive service, and great product!

I’d been hunting for the perfect work…

I’d been hunting for the perfect work bag for ages — something sleek and compact, but still spacious enough for daily commuting and travel. The Motion Stubble 15L Sling ended up ticking every box.

It feels genuinely premium, especially the soft stretchy material and overall finish. It’s comfortable to wear all day, works just as well on holiday as it does in the office, and never feels bulky.

What really stood out were the small design details — even the handle feels thoughtfully engineered. You can tell a lot of time went into refining this bag around what professional commuters actually want.

Over and above that - the customer service was impressive. I reached out to ask a question and received an immediate response from an actual person who was super kind and actually wanted to help!

The item arrive packaged in a beautiful box and everything from seeing the advert, to contacting them, to getting any questions answered, and received the fabulous bag has been an enjoyable experience.

I'Il be keen to buy more from them in the future.
