Nightmare On Storenvy

Very unprofessional checkout system which is hit or miss! Try to check out, good luck!! You may end up with the spinning wheel of death with could result in your order NOT being place or with 3 items. Check your credit limit before checking out in case the site hangs up and you end up buying multiples.

Untrustworthy sellers & no accountability

Ordered some laptop decals from a store called Vinyl Therapy. While I received one of the decals correctly I was waiting on another for over 2 months. I tried to contact the store multiple times within this time and did not hear back. Finally, after 10 weeks of waiting I received my order....and it was completely wrong. Nothing like what I ordered, I'm fairly sure I received someone else's order by mistake. I tried contacting the store about this and requested a refund as I did not want to wait another 10 weeks for the correct order. Never heard back from the store despite contacting them through multiple channels.

I finally decided to contact Storenvy customer service directly to inform them of the issue. I received a response that said they would get in contact with the store and try to resolve the issue. That was the last I heard from them. I notice the store is no longer running but the lack of support was incredibly disappointing. There seems to be no accountability for sellers and little effort put into protecting the customer.

After 4 months of chasing this issue I decided to give up and forfeit my $15. Unfortunately, the lack of support I received from the Customer Service team means I won't be buying from here again.

Storenvy is BAIT and SWITCH

Storevnvy requires sellers to accept "stripe" payment, which I imagine is their own payment solution. They rolled it out a few months back.

Today I learned that a $54.75 sale resulted in a $47.86 processed payment, though they serve "stripe" up as having a 2.9% +.30 (US) transaction fee.

If you do the math, the payment should have been $52.87. I'm quite sure there are some whacky details in the fine print that allows them to legally take additional fees, for some ridiculous reason, but my opinion is that Storenvy legally stole $5.01 from me for ONE SALE. I've been looking into the details of all of my sales and the fees are not so high for each sale, but they certainly have some wild way they're calculating their fees.

I'm abandoning Storenvy ASAP and have made an announcement on my store to NOT use the stripe payment option, otherwise I will refund my customers money.

Sorry Storenvy, but you may not steal from me, it doesn't matter what fine print I didn't read when I signed your agreement. I'm over it.

By the way, I sent several emails a month ago to try and get help with an issue. I've still not heard back. I'd go ahead and click the "let storenvy know about this review" option below, but they really don't deserve to know what I think. If I could reach every Storenvy customer and steer them away from the service, I would.

Horrible experience as seller

I used storenvy as my shop platform since 2014. Everything was all and well, the site was easy to use and maintained, felt really perfect for me. And then comes all the changes.... More specifically, Stripe. It's so horrible, storenvy force all seller to use this payment method, but stripe itself only supports a small handful of countries. Don't they even consider sellers that lives in minority country? Are we that invisible? or that we aren't contributing enough to be even considered on their statistic?

Tried to hang on for a few months even after all these changes, and then came the warning email. They personally send me a threat about closing my shop, JUST BECAUSE I ASK MY BUYER TO USE PAYPAL, BECAUSE WOW I CAN'T EVEN USE THE MONEY THAT GOT SENT TO MY STRIPE? Thank you so much storenvy, it finalized my decision to leave the site for good. Not recommend it to seller anywhere.

Horrible experience, and I can't even delete my account

I ordered a product from a Storenvy store (Atelier Dream) in late March. After waiting a month, I finally contacted the seller. She claimed she'd been on vacation, but was working on my order and would send it the next day. Six weeks later, I still hadn't received anything. I tried contacting the store owner, but no luck in receiving any response. So I contacted Storenvy directly. After a couple weeks I received an email telling me they were unable to get a hold of the store owner so they had shut her store down, and they recommended I file a PayPal dispute to get my money back. I heard from the store owner a week or so later, saying the order "must've gotten lost in the mail" and that she would send another one. She said she would refund my money for the inconvenience. Well, thankfully I *did* get my full refund, but I never received the order and it's now nearly three months after I placed my initial order! Her store is still up on Storenvy (despite them claiming to have shut her down), and I'm absolutely appalled by the whole situation! It's disgraceful! In short: DO NOT BUY FROM STORENVY!!!

WAS A Great Selling Platform...

As a seller, when I first started using Storenvy back in 2013, I absolutely loved it. It was easy to use, free, and I could use Paypal for all of my transactions. Speaking as someone who has been selling online since 2007, it was a dream come true and one of the best selling platforms I had ever used.

And then came the changes.

While I don't mind paying a percentage to Storenvy if I sell through the Marketplace (honestly, it's only fair, and I'm just happy no listing fee's are involved), what I do mind is being forced to use Stripe.

Stripe is glitchy, in turn makes Storenvy glitchy, and their fee's are ridiculous. It makes customer support even more difficult when instead of an instant refund like on Paypal, it can take up to two weeks for my customer's to receive a refund if needed. Also, in order to pay shipping fees and the like, I have to wait until the money has been deposited into my bank account which adds even MORE time onto people getting their orders.

Plus there's the fact that as a rather small business I have never opened up a business bank account (why pay for that when I can essentially have on on Paypal for free?), and it can wreak havoc on your personal finances when you have a shared bank account and hardly think it's fair to ask your partner to go over every single little itty bitty charge they intend to make when half of it is their money anyways.

If they let me use Paypal in the marketplace once again, I would willingly pay their 10% (even if it is a bit steep) commission on sales. I'd even be willing to pay a flat monthly amount at this point. But Stripe...what a disaster.

Shabby and expensive

I bought a dress and it can quickly, but the dress is falling apart, pins in it to keep it together and they will not take it back. Bad customer services and very bad quality. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Pretty Okay Store

I have ordered clothes and items from here a couple of times already. It's not too bad. If you look hard enough, there are items you can find for cheaper prices. Make sure to pay close attention to what you're purchasing though. The sellers are pretty good at minimizing what damage their clothing has.

Not too pleased

The site has stores within itself.
I made a purchase in September. At the end of october I had tried to contact the individual store because i had not received my package, they told me to wait a little longer because it does take longer to deliver to other places.
It is now December and I tried to contact the site's customer service. I got an email saying if it has not been over 45 days i can file a dispute. It had been over 45 days so i asked if there was another way to fix the problem, still no reply.
I'm still waiting to get a refund, or even my package.
Ridiculous.
