Very clear with good examples. I felt the 30 (actually 42) minute time was good since it gave a very focused webinar emphasising specific impactful information for those us us short of time to watch out for in company updates. Thank you.

The website has so many useful features…

The website has so many useful features for finding stocks to invest: stockrank, screen, blogpost etc... Moreover, the amount of detailed research and information makes you feel confident in your investment, rather than just blindly following stock tips from different websites.

Takes the guesswork out of stock picking

Stockopedia provides fantastic insight into any stock on any market anywhere in the world. You can see all manner of data about any company including very detailed balance sheet information, all of which is updated daily. Additionally they host regular webinars and podcasts which discuss stocks, market analysis or provide lessons into how to analyse stocks etc. There are very various tools such as a stock screener which you can input metrics to filter stocks by your preferences. I have used stockopedia for around 3 years now and it’s totally changed how I invest. I now pick stocks in a data driven manner which has massively improved my performance and I have much more confidence as a result. I would say it’s essential for any DIY investor.

Stockopedia is a decent platform with…

Stockopedia is a decent platform with useful screening tools and insightful analyses that can help with investment decisions. I like the ability to customize screens for further research, and the daily market content adds value. However, the pricing delays and occasional data inaccuracies are frustrating, which takes away from the overall experience. It's a good tool, but there's room for improvement. 3/5.

Hi Saliha,

Thank you for your thoughtful and balanced review. We're really pleased to hear you’ve found value in our screening tools, customisation features, and daily market content, it’s great to know they’re helping with your investment research.

That said, we understand how frustrating pricing delays and data inaccuracies can be. While we work with high-quality data sources, we know there’s always room for improvement. Your feedback has been shared with our data and product teams, who are continually working to refine the experience.

Thanks again for your support, and we hope we can earn a higher rating from you in future.

Warm regards,

Essential for portfolio management!

I use stockopedia to manage my self invested ISA. I find it extremely helpful in finding new shares to add to my portfolio.

The share news function alerts me to any issues I need to be aware of.

The browse function lists shares according to their value, momentum, quality, dividends.

There are share lists made by experts so one can pick and choose from those.

Portfolios are updated in real time.

The annual cost is worthwhile because it helps avoid losses, and helps find winners.

I fully recommend.

I've been a successful stock market…

I've been a successful stock market trader for nearly 25 years, foreseeing both the 2000 and 2008 crashes.

Today I signed up to Stockpedia having been offered a large discount through Investors Chronicle. Part of my success has been due to caution. So I compared Stockpedia's opinions on a number of stocks I'd been researching recently, and found Stockpedia's opinions to be slightly more cautious than mine.

So if I were a new trader I would be inclined to trust them.

But, of course, a trader should always expect the unexpected.

Great financial data but let down by censorship

This is a good web site with a good interface with mostly up to date financial data, good informative conference calls and the StockRanks are a very useful tool for analyzing investments.

Unfortunately the big let down, as I have recently discovered, is that it appears that the diversity and inclusion of differing points of view and opinions, especially when they differ from the mainstream narrative, is censored. And by censored I mean deleted without any reason given whatsoever other than an impersonal and dismissive instruction to "read our terms and conditions" which is not very helpful, not very constructive, not very accommodating nor inclusive.

It appears that the comments section is reserved for those who do not question government policy or actions nor the mainstream narrative on any topical or contentious issues be they climate change, geoengineering, politics, globalism, economic ideology, health, even when they relate directly to investments and the economy.

Overall it appears this is a good web site for investment research and analysis but not good if you are looking to build a community with fellow critical thinking members and challenge mainstream thinking with the purpose of identifying new investment opportunities. It appears that critical thinkers are viewed as "disruptive" so look elsewhere for an inclusive community that respects diverse (challenging) views and opinions which, sadly, appears to be less and less common these days (but they do exist - thank God) - no doubt to "keep us safe" from hurty tweets.

Hi Babis,

Thank you for your review and for recognising the strengths of the platform, especially our data, StockRanks, and tools for investment research. We're glad to hear you've found them valuable.

We understand that community interaction is an important part of the investing experience, and we genuinely welcome healthy debate and the sharing of diverse perspectives, especially where they relate to markets and investing.

That said, we do moderate community contributions to ensure discussions stay constructive, on-topic, and respectful of all members. Our guidelines aim to maintain a space focused on investment-related insight rather than broader ideological debates. We appreciate that this can feel limiting at times, but our goal is to keep the platform useful and welcoming for all investors.

Thanks again for your feedback, it’s been shared with the team, and we’ll continue to reflect on how we balance openness with relevance and respect across the community.

Warm regards,

Sam

Essential for DIY investors

Outstanding for DIY investors. The quantitative basis of its analyses and qualitative commentary by subscribers are generally excelent. The hands-on owner of the site is very clearly passionate about being helpful and shares a lot of his own research. The site has become essential to my investing activites.

A very useful investment tool

As a follower of Slater's zulu investment tecnique,I took CD refs. When this collapsed I found you ,and have been with you ever since.
I like the fact I can set up my own screens ,to find companies for further research . My screens tend to be mainly growth ,with slight adjustments between each ,and include a 'CD Refs' screen ,taken from their magazine . This tecnique over 25 years has served me well.
My investment is done totally within the ISA shell to avoid taxation legally.
Further to my sieves I often read across the alternatives you put up,and more than one company has been invested in thro' this method.
I am a great fan of Graham ,Paul and Roland ,as their deep expertise of company accounts is very useful.
All in all I remain a very satisfied customer ,and will remain so . Tony

Its stock screening tools are easy to use, the portfolio screens are helpful in tracking performance, and the team does a fantastic job of providing daily market analyses, which are comprehensive and insightful.
