Disappointed

I have been a subscriber to Sharescope Legacy for 19 years and more recently with Sharepad add-on but, because Legacy is being phased out, I have now migrated my transactions to new Sharescope.

In the dividend view I note that each company's final and interim dividends are listed separately, in date order, and not grouped together as in Sharescope Legacy.

In my opinion, and I'm sure most people would agree,this is very inconvenient when preparing a year-end tax return.

I raised the matter with Sharescope support but there was no enthusiasm for changing it, even though the former system was so much better.

Valuable Finacial programme which pays for itself.

Sharescope is handling transfer from sharescope legacy to New Sharescop. Training is provided which is very helpful and well organised. Support service has always been good.

Sharescope Gold was superb

Sharescope Gold was superb, and has been a real money-maker for me for 22 years. The replacement version is slower and less effective in many ways. The worst single error is that several clicks may be necessary to do a job previously done by one. Frequently you have to click on menu buttons in unlikely places on the screen. Please retain Gold! Information which Gold had on one page is now spread over 4 pages. Slow, inconvenient, and unnecessary!

We completely understand that moving away from a platform you’ve used for so long can be frustrating, especially when tasks that used to feel quick and familiar now seem different or take a few more steps.

One thing that many long-time Gold users have found helpful is taking part in one of our one-to-one training sessions. During these, our team can walk you through the platform, show you quicker ways to find information, and help recreate many of the things you were used to doing before. Gold users who were initially unsure have told us that after spending some time with the training, they’ve become much more comfortable with the platform and in many cases now prefer it.

It’s also worth mentioning that the current platform runs online rather than locally like the legacy desktop version, so performance can sometimes be influenced by the speed or stability of the internet connection being used. If you are experiencing any slowness, our team would be happy to look into that with you as well.

If you would be open to it, our support team would be very happy to arrange a training session and help you get more comfortable with the new platform.

Exemplary service . . again

I’ve been a Sharescope subscriber since 2000. Very nervous about the recent transition to their new platform. I needn’t have been, all went smoothly and is vastly superior. Did have a query this morning. Rang their helpdesk at 8:30, Tom resolved my problem in ten minutes. This is typical of the service I’ve always received.

Changing from the legacy product

Changing from the legacy product was a big move for me after 20 years, although I was confident that Sharescope help would be there for me because it always has been. Tom used Teamviewer to recreate what I have been accustomed to looking at and made the move very easy for me. Thank you Tom.
