The fold-out seats are a rip-off and a complete bummer. The price for a seat is the same as for a car. If you want a cabin, the car is also more expensive. The lights in the seating areas can't be turned off. There are no curtains, and everyone walks past. It's impossible to sleep. Not like at DFDS. They have much better conditions. The prices are outrageous. I don't recommend it.

Compared to other forms of travel - its just so enjoyable, warm welcome, easy boarding. The boats seem to be upgraded food and service is excellent, even the basic Huts are very comfortable.

quick check-in, rooms were great. I used to use tunnel, but since they changed their terms, its less stressful and easier to take the ferry. i work from the cabin with a laptop during the day, well worth upgrading the room. Really nice crossing

Smooth checkin and rooms were well maintained. Well on time and good entertainment available for kids. But earlier we had a theater where movies use to be there, that was fun but not sure why that was removed.

Overall, a very good experience travelling with Stena Line. I travelled with my pet cat, and the pet documentation check was swift and thorough. The passport check was also quick and efficient.
The staff on board were helpful, attentive, and great at explaining all the pet policies (which are also very clear on their website and in the pamphlet they provide). Still, I really appreciated them taking the time to go through everything.
The pet friendly cabin was clean and fresh on arrival. I loved the shower, the water temperature and pressure was perfect.
We visited the restaurant and really enjoyed the margarita pizza, the beef burger, and the soup of the day. The food looked delicious, tasted fresh, and was well presented.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Stena Line if you’re looking to travel with your pet.
A couple of constructive points
1. On arrival, they had dog treats which were given to the dog in front of me, such a lovely touch! But nothing for my little munchkin, a cat. It would be nice if cats were included too.
2. I found the disembarkation process a bit chaotic and rushed. Pet owners were advised to wait for a further announcement before leaving the cabin, and we were ready to go. However, it was actually the cleaning crew who told us we could disembark, and the official announcement came about five minutes later. By that time, the hallway was already packed with cleaning trolleys, which made it quite difficult to move through the passage with large bags.

Stena Holandia Hoek to Harwich was very cold, may i suggest the availability of blankets ,,,, or turn heating up,,,,
I had did ask staff for a blanket, was told they are not supplied ,,,,

Always a good service, I have been travelling with Stena Line for the past 30 years on the Harwich to Hoek, over the past 2-3 years the facilities onboard have improved and it has become better value for money.

The ferries are clean and well-run, and large and modern enough that even rough seas are not too disruptive. The restaurant food is good basic fare. The seating is gradually getting less comfortable over the years, and there are more of the 'luxuries' being removed - there used to be a children's entertainer, a cinema, an arcade for the kids etc. There is wifi, but paid access is required to do more than send messages

As Gold member you'd be able to book a stena plus lounge seat for free and second seat for half price. when I tried to book this for our next trip, the gold member seats are sold out but when you pay 25 pounds extra per person you are able to book seats in the same lounge. This is really poor /false service, especially for your regular customers.

Everything is so relaxed and well organised which makes travelling so much easier. The staff are polite and always have a smile. The cabins are clean and comfortable, a great way to start a vacation.

Smooth as always, complementary food variety in the lounge could be more broad. Beer should be available as well as wine is too. Stena personell in the lounge is very accommodating.

Boat was lovely, clean and staff very friendly. My hut clean,shower and bed really good for a ferry. Really had a good experience. Food was the real Surprise very tasty and good choice. All in all a great trip 😄

The arrangement of cars is infuriating. I arrive first, then I am side-lined into a side lane on the ferry that is last to emerge. If I arrive first, then I expect to depart first. Why not have priority embarkation and disembarkation like other companies?
The sold out lounge for gold members was particularly disappointing as the lounge was nearly empty. This appears disingenuous. If you want to charge gold members for lounge use, then do it openly.
The wifi is particularly terrible with even the voucher for gold members providing around 3Mb/s.
