I would give 0 stars if I could. They came out as the cheapest on Compare the Market, I've written to them too. A low insurance quote was provided but, having paid, I was requested to provide photos of my driving licence, proof of no claims, National Insurance Number, License Summary, proof of address etc... . On the same day as taking out the policy I decided to cancel and stay with my existing provider even though the policy wasn't starting until the 25th April. I still had to pay £25 to cancel - it's shocking - don't go anywhere this company! Wished I'd checked the other reviews before paying.

My advice would be do not trust the price on-line. Week after cover set up they want lots more information which wasn’t initially asked for and want to charge for things they never asked. Cancelled within 14 day cooling off period and now have to wait 6 weeks for refund, yes that’s written into the terms of business but you were quick to take payment within 24 hours why not refund just as quickly, you have the charge for the days of cover provided so why not process the refund.

By far the cheapest cover for my Campervan,hope this is the start of a long term relationship with Staveley Head.

Amber was brilliant. She searched for and found a really good deal for my campervan. She explained every detail, was patient, polite and cheerful and a real pleasure to deal with. I look forward to speaking to her about car insurance. I have used online insurance, but it was impossible to speak to a human when I needed to.

Taking out my first Motorhome insurance. I had been on many websites and comparison companies offering horrendous quotes, finally came across Staveley. Spoke with Amber Taylor. She was helpful and explained all the details of the policy. It took an hour to get the quote and was exactly what i was looking for. Great service from Amber, thank you for all the help!

This is the 2nd year with stavely head insurance company, I spoke with Harvie who walked me through the process to get my renewal to an acceptable price, Harvie was very professional and also very jovial which made me at ease,(nice bloke)
There was a small problem with an overpayment which they sorted instantly, 100% grateful. I would recommend them to all.

Leah O'Sullivan once again demonstrated to me how great the Staveley Head people are.
I had had a ridiculous quote from the source insurer (last year £450, this year £2450,) and was reluctantly heading towards the Meercats. We worked out a way of reducing this to an increase of £100. Still more than I wanted to pay, but more than acceptable. Leah spent 1.5 hours managing this for me, including running 20 minutes after going home time. She patiently took me through all the variables and I learned new facts which made me think (get a tracker and save £100 per annum!). I cannot reccommend this bunch too highly. Andy

Excellent customer service

Just taken out motorhome insurance with Staveley Head. Used to be a good company but not any more. Has taken over 2 weeks to sort problems and got an £80 refund but by the time they have taken all their charges away, I'm left with £15. Will not be going with this company again

Worst insurance company I've ever had the miss fortune of dealing with, never again

I had the pleasure of dealing with Connor Webb,
Sales and Renewals Advisor, when I called to take out a new policy today. I usually always use the internet to search for the best offers but decided to complete the entire process over the telephone because I felt it would be more comprehensive this way, dealing with someone who really knew the products.

My background is high level customer service expertise in Worldwide Service desks within the telecommunication field.

Connor had a superb manner in engaging with potential clients, he is extremely patient, very precise, very knowledgeable and a good communicator.

I am sure that he will have a very good career path ahead of him. Hard work always pays off, and individuals like him are hard to find.

Staveley Head are just a "trading style" of OneSure insurance, and the customer portal for Staveley Head is simply the one for OneSure insurance. Staveley head emails point you at OneSure - and the OneSure systems are utter 5h1t, and their customer wait times are 5 hours plus, they don't respond to emails or messages you send them. When you do get through there's confusion with people at both Staveley Head and Onsure who you should contact if you have a problem - they just pass you company to company, so if you want good customer service? use someone else - a complete shambles, avoid.

Amber was great to deal with and worked had to get me a great price for my motor home.

Beware of this company. I had my motorhome insured with them at a cost of £216 for the year, which I paid in full in one payment. 6 months in, I sold my motorhome and informed my insurers. With 6 months left to run on the policy I expected a small refund. Instead they said my total bill for the year was £253 but they would waive £37 to make it £216, so I owed nothing but, and here's the unbelievable thing, I would get no refund. They charged me £146 for time covered, £85, yes you read that right, cancellation fee, and £20 odd for some other charge. It is legalised theft. I will never use them again.

So easy to deal with, Amber was brilliant. Such a patient and helpfull person. She looked through lots of options to find me the best price. I have used this company for the last 8 years and have always had great service.

Harvie what an asset you are to the team. My experience today in obtaining my motorhome insurance was fab. You have excellent communication skills and got me a great deal x your the best!

Excellent service and freindly informative staff.
Harvie ran through all the essentials with me and asked if there was any thing i didnt understand.
He then completed my insurance cover including 2 months free break down service.
All in all a realy easy and pleasent transaction. Thank you

I needed comprehensive insurance for my motorhome after my current insurer was purchased by a larger group who decided to increase my premium by over 300% without any claims or changes!

I used 4 comparison sites and then rang the top 3 quotes recommended by each to check the small print. Luckily, I was soon connected to Connor Webb (Staveley Head Insurance) who professionally but also warmly, patiently & politely went through alternative quotes with me (eg. different parking location options, with/without additional drivers).

Connor made the tedious & time-consuming search for the best fit and value insurance so much easier and offered me good & easily adaptable coverage and a really excellent premium. To find someone so patient and polite in this day & age is also a delight.

I don’t do a lot of feedback but have gone to this effort because I feel it was/ is really warranted. I will very happily use and recommend Connor Webb @ Staveley Head Insurance for any vehicular (& other) insurance needs.
