I made the mistake of ordering a Chromebook from this company because it was half price. They said it would be delivered by Purolator.. After taking a day off and waiting with no delivery I contacted... See more

Very helpful gentleman.
It took me 3 hours to do up a photo book and a very busy and patient gentleman in a turban was so very helpful. This is out in your rothesay store. I hope good things come his way. Very happy customer.
Very dissatisfied with Staples!
Very dissatisfied with Staples!! Just bought an Acer Nitro gaming laptop, which their shippers NEVER delivered!
Delivery confirmation slip just says “was advised by customer to leave on deck”, but we weren’t actually home to advise anyone of anything! (we would have stayed home if the shipping status hadn’t been stuck on “in transit” which it still has never changed from.)
It also looks like they just wrote “no body home” in the signature field…
When I reached out to Staples I was told that they fulfilled their side of the deal and I could dispute it with my card provider…
Absolutely unacceptable to treat your customers like this!
the worst online shopping experience ever
on September 2nd evening i have placed an order on staples.ca, i bought a printer it was supposed to be delivered by September 4th but they didn't deliver it, i sent them an email they said they still need 2 more business days that's i have to wait until Monday September 9th.
its my worst online shopping experience ever.
0 star if I could
0 star if I co
Purchased gift cards and later got cancelled for no reason. We used coupon code to purchase a few gift cards and got confirmation email from Staples right away. A few days later the order got cancelled. Coupon code is not applied to gift cards as per Staple custom service manager. My point is the transaction would not go through if the coupon code is not valid. Bug? Maybe? Then still it’s staples problem. Programmer should fix your damn system.
Again, when I talk to the manager over the phone, he is not polite. When customers brought up the complains, they should solve the problem instead of defend themselves. He has attitude.
Disappointing experience
Purchased a laptop sleeve online for pickup at the 2014 Aurora Blvd store in Regina. Their site said they had 5 in stock. Revcieved an email confirmation of the purchase which said wait for the email that will come when it's ready for pickup. Waited for 24 hours, callled the store, had to give the order information twice to 2 different people. After 10 minutes they told me the order was cancelled. Reason? None in stock. I received no notification the order had been cancelled. They just said "must have been a glitch" - no apology. I've found the store to be quite disorganized and the staff I've dealt with seem to not really want to be there. Not going back.
I would give 0 stars if I could
Staples doesn’t care at all about their customers - they just take your money and afterwards you’re on your own if there are any problems. They shouldn’t be allowed to offer online ordering because theirs is so in the dark ages, and the customer service needed to address the issues that arise from that doesn’t exist even for basics like trying to confirm your order, change your order, actually receive your order, or refund your order. This goes for both consumer and corporate (Preferred), both of which I’ve had ridiculously bad experiences with now. Never again. Staples needs to take a lesson from the professionals out there like Home Depot, IKEA, Amazon, and others who are typically a joy to deal with by comparison - their systems, their policies, and their people.
Prepac Monterey Children’s 6-Drawer Dresser, White
I've had it nearly a month (in a vented storage room away from people and pets) and it STILL STINKS as bad as the day it arrived. Not even cedar chips would draw it out. I don't know what they treated it with, but I would not trust anyone around it, especially children, the elderly, or pets (so much for a kid's dresser). I'm disposing of it after I report the company to the proper regulators. This is unsafe, and they shouldn't be allowed to import such terrible products. Stay away very dangeres!!!
Employees are Not Trained Adequately
At one location in THORNHILL, Ontario where I went to do laminating I was told they only do it online!! Clearly a language barrier.
At another store in THORNHILL I had to wait for the only employee who could help me get started on scanning documents to be sent to sn email. No other employee knew how to do it. After 20 minutes I left, went to the library down the street and a librarian helped me - it was free!
staples sucks
staples sucks. There online ordering system is misleading, confusing and time-wastey, the prints takeFOREVER to arrive even though it looks like your ordering for the same day and the prices are not that good. Also the customer service when you try to make things better is slow and pretty terrible. possible bot. may as well order directly from canva, won't be using this service ever again.

Tried to drop off a package for FedEx at the Chatham, Ontario location , as I had before, with the exact same contents, and they refused to take it this time. Told me to drive across town and hope that they would take it. Thank goodness they did as it's very time sensitive.
Husband and kids were in the car, finishing up some lunch, before we were to go in and buy new tech for school. Wouldn't even consider it now. Will never spend a dime with this franchise ever again. Thousands were dropped right next door. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

No foreign credit cards?!?
No foreign credit cards?!?
Ridiculous - trying to print out and pick up a few pages. You go all the way through the process and on the last page they tell you they don’t accept US credit cards - Canadian only.
Customer service at North Battleford, Staples
The people at Staples, North Battleford are wonderful. I bought the Teck easy program. Elisha and his assitant , whose name i am sorry I can't remember, made the process easy and made sure I knew that if I had trouble with the installation for any reason, to comback with my computer, and they would help me.

Extremely rude employee who obviously…
Extremely rude employee who obviously doesn't like her job. It took a very long time to bind 3 booklets made of 50 pages each. While I was waiting for the job to be completed, she was continually talking in a different language with her co worker and checking her phone. I complained that she took too long and she replied sarcastically "Thank you for your compliment".
Total unacceptable attitude!
This was the store on St.James, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Product cards on the racks but no stock available
I went to the Staples in St Catharines to get a 2m Apple USB-C to USB-C cable. For anti-theft they only had the product card on the rack and I needed to go to the cash to hand the card for the cable. There were plenty of product cards on the rack, yet when I took the card to the cash to get one, there were none in stock. I asked why they would have plenty of product cards on the rack but none in stock. I was told it was a management decision, because empty shelves look bad. What is worse, an empty shelf, or making a customer wait in line at the cashier, with a product card from the rack, only to be told that they don’t have any? This is the last time I will go to this store. I believe in buying local, but a management decision means I will order online from Apple.
STICKERS AND BUSINESS CARDS
STICKERS AND BUSINESS CARDS
I went to Staples in Surrey and spoke with an employee about printing stickers. Initially, she confirmed they could print them on the same day as long as I placed the order promptly due to quick processing times. However, when I tried to submit the file, she was unsure how to arrange multiple logos on one page. This led me to return later with a finalized file.
In addition to the stickers, I also ordered 100 business cards. I entrusted the employee to handle the order to ensure the correct formatting, as I was concerned about potential errors if I did it online. She assured me the cards would be ready in 5-7 days and that I'd receive an email notification.
After six days without receiving any email, I returned to the store. To my surprise, another employee informed me they do not print stickers and had not processed my business card order. They requested I resubmit the file, which would mean another 5-7 day wait – too late for my needs. Frustrated, I had to cancel the order and request a refund.
To add to the disappointment, it took over half an hour for them to locate my order and process the refund. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating, and based on this, I would not recommend using Staples for any services.
Staples Publicly Endorses Sin
Drag and pride is flaunted on their social media.
Was looking to get a quick lamination done.
Was looking to get a quick lamination done. I was third in line with two girls working the counter. One gentleman was already served and waiting for his stuff and the second guy was finally served by the 2nd girl (who just got back from lunch). I was suppose to be next but this woman walked in and went to the side counter where the second girl had just finished up with the previous customer. She looked at me and then at the woman and proceeded to serve the woman even though she knew I was still waiting to be served. She kept avoiding eye contact with me because she knew i was pissed!
Along come the meely mouthed manager with another customer and he tried to get her taken care of before me. The girl that was now free asked the customer to wait and came over to serve me....thank God! I can understand why the staff are the way they are when the manager doesn't know any better himself! Not to mention the fact that the store inventory on the shelves was a mess, there was only one i-pad on display, pricing was missing from many of the items and displays were half built with pieces sitting on the floor. Nice job Store 433 - Rymal Rd. Hamilton!!!!!
Dymo Organizer Expresss Pro
I bought a Dymo labeller which worked well the first time. Two months later when I tried it again, it won't work at all. Took it back to Staples and they said the 30 day return period had expired. The clerk was quite rude and unfriendly. I think Staples needs to rethink their return policy on items that are not used a lot.
