The worst airline in India

The worst airline in India. They are continuously and unilaterally changing the schedules of all the flights you have bought from them (and more than once EVERY FLIGHT!!) with RIDICULOUS excuses, giving you other impossible schedules, making your trip across the country extremely difficult, and forcing you to reschedule all the transfers , visits, etc I will NEVER EVER book with SPICEJET, I am SICK.

Scam - spicejet airways charged on unsuccessful bookings

Very unprofessional company! Common problems:
1. Charges customers on unsuccessfull bookings, i was charged and then there was no PNR. And i had to rebook the same flight.
2. The refund amount as still not received after 20+ reminders and after 100 days still had to struggle
3. Return flight was cancelled and they informed me when i reached airport to board the Flight.
Worst customer Experience, can’t connect to their CSR as they are always busy receiving complaints, my refund is still pending always receive same Response that they are seriously looking into the return and its pe ding with concerned team.

Absolute clowns

Absolute clowns. Cancelled our flight (operational reasons) within 1 hour of departure. All passengers were checked in and at the gate.

As a result missed our connection from Delhi to London.

Staff looked like rabbits in the headlights and did not know what to do. Manager was called as passengers were getting irate and told we were going to be put up in a hotel of the night - we got the cheapest and filthiest (there was blood on the underside of my pillow!!) hotel they could find (separate review for Hotel Royal Plaza - Leh).

I will never step foot on another SpiceJet plane ever again!

I was coming from Dubai to Ahmedabad…

I was coming from Dubai to Ahmedabad flight no:SG 016. My check in baggage weight was 12.5kg. Since I came to Dubai for 2days . And I bought duty some fight free goods and my weight turn out to be 11kg. Well, one side I was underweight with my check in bag. Attending officer literally ripped me off by charging AED:180. On the contrary the flight is delayed by 1.5 hrs and I am asking to the airline who will pay for passenger s inconvenience .I am not travelling with spice jet in future. Yes it is low cost airline as my agent would say. Don’t travel with low cost airline internationally. It’s my suggestion .
Good bye spice as you are too low cost airline.

Worst service and food

We recently travelled from Dubai to Pune and had booked spice max ticket. But there was no separate que for Spice Max inspite of paying extra for this. When we tried to ask about this no body cared. The staff said, any how there are no people (there were more than 50 standing in the que). Very very bad service. The food ordered was Dose and I don’t understand how any body can make such a bad dose. One has to really struggle to make such a bad food. Very very poor service. Overall the experience is very bad and in future we will strive to make sure that we don’t travel by this airline.

FRAUD

Rubbish airline. Rejected my payment four times so I made payment by another means. Next day, the rejected payments were also taken! Complained to SpiceJet who sent me a link to complete transaction details. Filler out the form then wouldn’t let me submit and came up with an error page.

Absolutely shocking airline. Fraudulent and useless.

Pathetic and very very poor experiance.Will never choose this flight in my life and persons who i know.

I have very very bad experience, i have a booked ticket for my parents from riyadh to cochin 29th July 2022 via mumbai.I need to report, we hope ground staff in mumbai  break the baggage lock and theft our personal belongings from baggage and damage the baggage bags.This is really painful and we lost items that worth 7000 -- 10000 INR from our baggage. I need your immediate attention on this and kindly do the necessary action and make sure it will not happened again to other all passengers.

1. Boarding was done outside the airport, and no staff informed about boarding. Really painful 2. No food / drinks provided in aircraft3.Staff rude behavior while boarding4. Baggage braked and theft personal belongings worth 7000 -10000 INR, really pathetic and cheap behaviour. 5. No airport staff in baggage theft counter to report the incident.6. over all very poor and pathetic service

I have booked a Flight From Hyderabad…

I have booked a Flight From Hyderabad to Goa with my family on 16th June and today they have cancelled my confirmed ticket by saying due to Operational reasons i need to know what are those..
Its confirmed ticket and I have paid 45k for round trip my return ticket is also with SpiceJet on 6th July how should i trust this airlines when they have cancelled my ticket now they will cancel my return ticket on 7/6/2022 need spicejet to pay for my other flight charges as the prices has gone up now for the same date if they are cancelling for uncertain reason they should pay for my extra charges.Its pathetic service offered by SpiceJet.I will take this to consumer court they must be doing this to frequent customers on daily basis never trust this people never going to recommend this airlines to anyone in my life...

I flew recently using Spicejet and my experience was very below average, the airplane had very uncomfortable seats and was very crowded, I think the service could have been better, even tho the trip was a short 3 hour trip we weren’t offered any food or any sort of entertainment, I’d suggest thinking twice before flying with them!

i have no words for these two days of flight cancel amritsar to dubai. but there system is showing flight on time. no food no accommodations. you can get back to home because of immigration. not ready to pay refund. nobody there was to entertain you. fu... experience ever. mentally harassed two days because the staff says . we are only employees can't do anything just giving us fake commitments

I had my neice's wedding in jaipur on …

I had my neice's wedding in jaipur on 26th& 27th April.
Convience is what a person requires the most when (s)he is traveling and for the purpose of convience i paid extra not marginally but exceptionally.
I booked return tickets for direct flight from Amritsar to Jaipur with spice jet owing to their good reputation for me and my family. ( which they failed upon miserably)
To my utter shock, a day prior to the scheduled flight the flight got cancelled and despite paying extra I was left with nothing.
I tried calling spice jet customer service, but to no avail. No one even bothered to connect or talk on call.
Being left with no other option I had to book even more expensive ticket at the last moment (last moment tickets are super expensive).

The refund I received had cancellation charges but Why am I liable to even bear the cancellation charges at the first place.

Somehow, I managed to reach jaipur and attended the wedding.

Upon checking for return tickets the only available direct flight was from spice jet. My family insisted to not book tickets with spice jet but for the purpose of convience and having faith in such a reputed company i booked tickets with spice jet.
But again to my utter shock, a day prior to the scheduled departure again the flight got cancelled causing due hardship to me and my family.
I faced mental agony despite paying INR 72,000/-.

Im a doctor by professional and i cannot leave my patients unattended. I've a a commitment towards them so i had to reach back on my scheduled time.
Now without trusting any airlines, I booked a cab for me my family and had to travel back in cab in this heat which generally takes 12-13 hours.
I reached back on
But the failure on the part of spice jet has not only caused monetory loss but has caused due hardship and mental agony to me and my family.

It was the biggest nightmare and i would suggest everyone to never rely on Spice Jet.

Money taken but no tickets issued + inexistent customer service

In March 2022, I tried to order tickets for a flight from Delhi to Gangtok (Pakyong Airport). The SpiceJet website malfunctioned and my money was taken but no ticket issued. The error message stated that in such case the money would automatically be refunded within 7 working days but of course that didn't happen. I contacted SpiceJet customer service but they have been absolutely worthless. From my point of view, not a single meaningful action has been taken and 2 months later the money still hasn't been refunded and there is only empty promises coming from their end. Would give 0/5 rating if I could

Avoid this airline.
Bad experience with spice jet in Jaipur with Ambu Singh
I had international connection and just one carryon.
He wanted me to check that in. I told him that I don't have time to wait for luggage as I have international flight to USA within 3 hrs of arrival. He did not care. Stated I will have to pay 3000 Rs.
My tickets cost about 4-5000 Rs and bag cost was Rs 3000.
On the other hand I had taken my flight with same bag with Indigo they did not charge me anything.

Safety culture is really lacking

Safety culture is really lacking. Even their own pilots have said they're stressed to the max not to mention their maintenance is questionable. Overall dirty planes, bad service, and your chance of being in an "incident" seem more likely given their track record. Their De Havilland Q-400's are the most uncomfortable planes i've ever been on. Will NOT be flying with them again, I prefer to show up at my destination alive rather than a few dollars richer having saved money using an LLC

Harrassed

I won't recommend anyone to take spice jet airline. They know only how to harrase passengers. The airport security and officials are moron basically. I doubt whether they are educated or not..they are neither responsible nor cooperative. They don't even listen to passengers. They just know how to behave rudely, helping/providing service are far away.

Joke of an Airline with no value for customer service. Waiting over 6 weeks for a booking that did not go through!

I have been waiting over 6 weeks to get refunded my money for a booking that did not go through due to an internal system error their end.
I tried to book flight tickets on 09/03 which failed but the money was taken from my account. It stated at the time on the website that in case your booking is not confirmed but your amount is deducted then it will be auto refunded in 7 working days towards your account. I called them the following day to notify them but they told me to wait for the auto refund. I then called again on the 7th working day and was told that i should have called and sent in a complaint by email which I was not told on the first call. Long story short I have still not received my money 6 weeks later. I am getting hung upon after spending hours on the phone and spending a fortune on making international calls to them. I am receiving basic generic emails not answering my questions and not giving me any further timelines just asking me to wait. A joke of an airline that has no value for customer service.
