My husband brought a car today have to say it’s all positive - smooth transaction, friendly service. He won’t leave a review as it’s not a ‘man thing to do’ so the wife has done it because every great customer service deserves recognition. Thank you. What a little gem of a hidden place.

I would have no reservations recommending the South West Motor Company to anyone.

From my first initial phone conversation to collection, the whole process was smooth and painless. The car I purchased was beautifully presented and looked better in the flesh than the photos.

I dealt with their sales manager; Dale Salt. He is a great guy with a great knowledge of the industry and also fair/realistic with his PX offers.

Please give them a look. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I brought a car off of them They promised to deliver but arfter loads of excuses I decided to hire a person to collect for me it was all agreed that he would pick up at certain time and date but when he got there they still denied to let him pick up the car which I have paid for in full it was agreed by the owner that he would refund the money for the collection fee and refund my money for the car I have finally received payment for my money but they are lying constantly to me and the delivery company to pay there fee's which I have had to do they are complete fraudsters stay away

Great dealer face to face but I still have Paperwork outstanding after 3 month purchase. No parts sent as promised. Have been told 3 times in writing info was sent. Stay away as after service terrible

Amazing ! Zoe was really helpful and reassuring after a recent bad experience with another dealership. The car was ready to collect and looking immaculate (as good as new) within the week and I couldn't be happier

A terrible service from start to finish. My elderly parents purchased a car from these people, and the car had nothing but problems from day one. As soon as you pay your money and drive away, they aren’t the least bit interested. Rude staff members with no communication skills and lies about the cars history. My parents have suffered an extreme financial loss as have recently had to scrap the car, due to a repair bill that cost more than the car itself. Avoid these rogue traders!

We had an amazing experience. First off Scott , Dale and Zoey made it worth our time and time is the most valuable asset we have.
We chose a car we liked,
Dale sorted out all the paperwork after helping clarify details on the vehicle we chose ,turns out there were a couple of issues with the brand new pirellis
And the subsequent tracking.
Scott went above and beyond to bring the car in, fix the issues and look after us.
I have had some poor previous experience's with garages but this was the best I have had.
We will be returning when I need to change my van.
If you are worried about where to spend your money, south West motors are the place to go.

I guess I am one of the unlucky ones-
First the water pump died, not completely unexpected. The warranty only covers the actual water pump and not any of the other things like a timing belt etc. On inspection the garage informed me the car was running on unroadworthy brakes despite having been MOT'd prior to purchase. Brakes NOT covered on the warranty. The alternator has just been reported faulty and there has been a number of warning lights that have been on since I purchased the car. I reported this and was told they would "definitely give it their full attention"- absolutely nothing.

I have just returned from the garage again as the rear caliper seized and was told the part had been held in place with cable ties. The warranty ran out this week which I know did not extend to brakes.

I am not a wealthy person and need a reliable car- I might have just been unlucky this time but I have had no actual customer service. Very disappointed and heavily out of pocket.

Bought a 2012 Range Rover Evoque which I have had for a few weeks now and had nothing but a fantastic experience from both the car and the team at the southwest motor company. Viewing the car on ebay we found a car which looked to be above the perfect car for the money we wanted to spend, we quickly contacted SWMC and spoke to the very professional receptionist to arrange a viewing. Upon arrival we were greeted by Dale the sales manager who gave a no pressure, honest description of the car and what the aftersales package consisted of. I have been contacted by Dale since to check im happy with my purchase. Great experience I WILL USE AGAIN!! Thank you SWMC

Very impressed by this company, great service and support along the way to purchasing a fabulous car . Highly recommended. Their service workshop is as clean as a formula 1 garage. Great selection of vehicles and the staff know their stuff

From beginning to end the whole process was excellent. The staff were excellent, friendly and very informative. Nothing was too much trouble and the Sales Manager went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the car and was happy to wait until I was able to confirm collection of the car. I've always been nervous about buying cars, because even and expect can miss something. However, this company has given me hope in car dealers again. It took me 4 hours to get to them because I live so far away. I was offered a lift from the train station. The car was worth the trip and I had no issues driving it back. It has been almost 3 months now and it is still great. Highly recommended dealer. Thank you

Have had a great experience with these guys, really laid back and friendly approach no pressure sales tactics here, very honest with there mot and workshop, just bought a new van from them and they went above and beyond from start to finish definitely recommend and will be back for a Mercedes hopefully soon too.

Couldn’t be happier! Took my car in for a last minute MoT and unfortunately it failed! Luckily the team explained everything to me in great detail and guided me through what needed to be done, above and beyond for the price of an MoT if you ask me!! I would highly recommend this garage to anyone! We will be returning for all our work from now on.
