I spoke to a Dane this evening. I was standing in an emergency room in Rome filled with drug addicts, blood and urine on the floors. Not pleasant. I was sent there by SOS internationals doctor. I therefore rung up the company and wondered if I could go anywhere else, e.i a private hospital or something. The person in Denmark did not know if they had any agreements with any hospitals, nor did he recommend any solution. I asked if he could check it out an call me, and he said "I can try". I did not hear anything more from them. My conclusion is that you have to be quite well in order to get help, and my experience was horrendous. I spoke earlier the same day to a very helpful woman that took responsibility and helped me beyond what was expected, so it is not all bad. All in all, I would strongly advise to fix your medical issues your self if you can avoid hospitalization. Call insurance company afterwards.

I want to thank the team from the bottom of my heart. When faced with a serious illness, I always received help and support throughout the entire process, from suspected illness to arranging a flight home. Warm thanks!

Just hope you never get into their hands! Terrible customer service, unfriendly and completely unprofessional. Never before have I experienced such a treatment.

It was very difficult to get into contact with professional staff. The nice girl who finally attended my call did not give much information.
