I did a lot of research on this door…
I did a lot of research on this door system, it seemed way better than anything else, so I was happy to pay a few hundred more for superior quality.
My first experience of buying my own front door to my taste.
Ordering was easy and every detail covered. Delivery was well handled and on time. The product is superb, all installed and feels really premium. So very happy I went with solidor. Thanks to everyone involved. Fantastic Company 👏.

BEWARE- DOORS PEEL OFF
Bought a Door and the door is peeling off and worped. Rang customer service and has been advised that I have to go to the people who installed the door. Why would a company that installed the door come and refit a new door and pay from their pocket for a door that is faulty?

My 8 year old Solidor door began to split and as my installer had gone bust I contacted Solidor who instead of dealing direct put me on to CWG Services a trade supplier. They I must say were excellent as they told Solidor to supply and fit a brand new door as part of their 10 year warranty scheme. That door minus a few bits arrived yesterday and was fitted in just over an hour and is better than it ever was thanks to the brilliant engineer Steve. So a good result even if it took a while to get there. All I need now is the remaining parts. I dropped a star as Solidor could have done all this directly in the first place.

Very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful.
Great service over the phone and email with Garry. I explained the problem we were having with our door lock (that was covered by a Solidor guarantee) and a new part was sent out which was easy to fit and solved the problem.

Crackingly Poor!
We were initially more than happy with the door but have now noticed that the outside face has multiple cracks in the skin from ever corner of the moldings, the glazing areas and from all 4 corners of the letterbox (21 cracks in total!). We have been told this is a common thing for Solidor that happens to the dark colours but ours is a light grey. Once the colour was highlighted, this seems to now be our problem being told this must be something we have done to the door. The door is just over 5 years old and the warranty is 10 years so why is this even being disputed? There is clearly an issue with their process or an underlying issue with the ABS skin they use. The bigger this company gets, the less experience it has. This isn't our first Solidor and a previous problem was sorted very quickly and customer service was so helpful and we even received a call from a director to make sure the problem had been resolved to our satisfaction, now you cant even speak to someone who seems to know anything about their own products. Disappointingly poor

The Door Won't Shut Properly
Our door was fitted a few years ago. We have had continual problems with the mechanism. The door won't shut properly with or without the key. The fitter has come back several times but although it shuts properly for a little while soon it doesnt. The lock people Utilion say it's not the lock at fault. The door was expensive and frankly I wish I'd never had it fitted. I cant say the exact date as it keeps recurring.
