Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.

Wonderful experience
Friends recommended Saxon saying the quality was good & items were long lasting. We were able to visit the Bolton showroom, select a style, colour and feet for our two sofas. Delivery was exactly as suggested and we used the service to check if the items would go through the front door prior to delivery. Customer service throughout was excellent. I love this company
I love this company . I have purchased three sets of sofas for different properties . The first set in 2001 which is still going strong , in fact I’m sitting on one of those sofas writing this review! The 25 year old sofas still look new. Highly recommend.

5 stars is really not enough for this company - they are exceptional! We had never heard of the company until it literally popped up on a Google search, but we liked their website and decided to travel the 37 miles to view the store. This was the best decision ever - the staff and the service they gave, the showroom, the ordering (including ordering bespoke items), the communication, the coffee they provided (!), the delivery and more importantly the furniture itself, were absolutely second to none! We loved this company’s back story and how each staff member had a vested interest in the company’s success. If you’re looking for a chesterfield sofa do not go anywhere else! I researched this company on you tube and on trust pilot post on facebook..
After looking nearer to home first for a chesterfield range and being dreadfully disappointed with the quality on offer. We drove 2 hours to Bolton to sofas by Saxon showroom. Well the drive was well worth it. The showroom was full of the ranges on offer. Immediately I could see the quality and felt reassured I was in the right place. The customer service was excellent and the products and procedures of the whole handmade to order of my chosen range was fully explained. It was reassuring to hear about the long history of the company and know the high quality of staff that make the furniture to my specifications. Being able to see the factory area for production was also reassuring. No pushy sales tactics , plenty of samples to look and choose from. Excellent staff with great knowledge. We came away with exactly what we wanted. They kept in contact through the whole process about delivery dates. I even ask for preview photos of my sofa (excited) they obliged. Answered any questions I had about the sofa. Day of delivery arrived. The men were very professional and respectful of my home ensuring a perfect delivery service.
Well tears of joy when I walked in the room to view the sofa. All questions again answered about cleaning and how to care for the furniture. The whole process from day one was amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the sofas. They are top quality hand made amazing. Will last years. So happy. Would definitely buy from this company again. Staff I believe have an investment in the company so they are all proud of their work. Factory handmade on the premises and you can view the factory from the showroom. Watch on you tube the whole making process. You won’t be disappointed with this company and I’m very fussy what I buy.

Sofa & two chairs
We found Sofas by Saxon online and sent for some samples and a brochure, they came within two days so we decided to go to their showroom at Bolton we were not disappointed a great showroom with plenty to see. Help was at hand from Megan and Mark so we placed a order for a sofa and two chairs, they arrived eight weeks later and are beautiful. Saxon 3 seater sofa…
I recently purchased a 3 seater sofa and was so impressed with it I added an armchair too. Made from leather in a Chesterfield Style the quality is superb. Customer service is excellent and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were informed on the progress of our order wight up to the final delivery.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Easy to order and item exactly as described. Very good quality. Coordinates well with our newly decorated lounge. Only niggle was we were told it would be a late delivery, as we were at work, but delivery guys turned up an hour early, so we had to come home early to deal with it. But they were very quick and respectful of our home. Would definitely recommend the company for craftsmanship and no pressure sales.

Really pleasant and relaxed purchase. We had a great experience when looking to invest in our new leather Chesterfield furniture, we had lots of samples supplied to help us choose the correct shade and look we wanted. Samples (lots of them) were sent really quickly and supported by really helpful no pressure sales staff. Delivery times were very accurate and the delivery team were great re access in advance. The whole experience was first class, from range of products visible on the website allowing us to see how different leathers etc would look and the printed catalog were great. The furniture itself is lovely, really well crafted and far better than we have seen anywhere else. Great to support a British company that has got it right. A real 5 star experience👍

My second purchase - super pleased
I recently made my second purchase from Sofa's by Saxon (the previous one being a beautiful Chesterfield a few years ago). I decided to get a second sofa and rang to talk about options. A great company that makes your sofa on site
The people in the showroom were so welcoming but not pushy leaving us to browse at our leisure and were available to answer any questions we had . All of the staff we spoke to were very friendly and knowledgeable about the products on offer. As we are both short in height we were concerned about couches everywhere else we had looked being too deep so our feet are left dangling. We were assured that if we couldn't find a suitable one in the showroom that they would make one made to measure for us as they are made on site . We found one that suited us and placed our order with ease choosing the material / leather from the sample wall and having the different samples explained to us was so personal . Our delivery arrived with two lovely guys unpacking it and putting the two couches in place . We love them and they are so comfortable we would recommend this company to anyone who wants a well built sofa that is true quality and value for money .
