No Stock

Give the impression that they have stock but then almost straightaway you get an email saying there is no stock. Quote a lead time to get stock that is just short enough that you do not cancel but then do not deliver. Made the mistake of ordering again as I had forgotten how they operate.

Quality socks, easy ordering and delivery.

I Purchased the cool kick sneaker socks for women. Socks are lovely and soft and very good quality. I got a confirmation when I placed the order, and an email to say it had been dispatched. I received my order within a few days. Happy with the service and my socks. Thank you.

Reliability issues

Been buying from SocksFox for years and they were reliable once upon a time. Now you place an order and almost immediately get an email saying that they are awaiting stock. This has happened every single time I've placed an order this year. Once this current order is fulfilled I will not be ordering from SocksFox again.

Had a problem with a product. Amanda in customer service rapidly resolved, after a perfectly reasonable amount of due diligence. Can’t ask for more than that.

Terrible; avoid this company!

My items never arrived in time and yet I am still expected to pay for it. The company charged £10 for shipping and advised a delivery date of 3-5 days. A week later my order is still in England. Customer service was abysmal and stated they do not guarantee a courier service (i.e FedEx) - which is what most companies are now doing - due to cost. I paid £10! Even Marks and Spencer are sending things through a courier and for less. Appalling service and totally nonsensical operations in place.

Unfortunately this customer was under the impression we use courier services to ship orders. Nowhere on our website do we say we use couriers, we say we use tracked services but no mention of couriers. The Delivery page has a message explaining COVID-19 and BREXIT is impacting dispatch and delivery time frames for some orders and asks our customers to be patient whilst awaiting their delivery. We dispatched this order on 2 February within 24 hours of it being placed. Under normal circumstances the United States has an estimated delivery time of 8-13 working days, with anticipated delivery between 12 to 19 February, which we have not yet reached. During the pandemic some orders are being delivered quickly, others are taking longer than usual, unfortunately this is out of our control. We are sorry this customer did not take note of the information on our website and has based her review of us on her incorrect assumption that we use courier services. As a business we have chosen to not offer courier services as standard to help keep costs down for customers. We charge £10 to ship to the US , free for overseas orders over £200 using a tracked service. We always endeavour to be as open as possible and are always happy to answer any queries customers may have either prior to or after placing their order.

The timing being not long before Christmas was very unfortunate, a supplier had put the wrong product in the retail box so we in good faith thought we were sending the right item to the customer. We were very apologetic and asked for the item to be returned to us and we would refund the item on receipt. Customer could not understand why we wouldn’t provide a full refund for the item before we received it back. We tried to explain that we need to receive items back before providing a refund and this is common practice. We also tried to explain that we say this on our site and t & c’s, which are agreed to before placing an order and that all return postage is paid for initially by a customer. If there is a fault or a mistake has been made we then provide a refund of the postage too, which we would have done in this case and did once we received the item back, but we needed the item back. We pride ourselves on our customer service and it was a shame that our service was judged to be so poor in this situation.

Lovely products, sharp price and very helpful service.

I ordered from the SocksFox site but I made a mistake with my order. I was really taken with just how helpful they were in rectifying what was my mistake! I have now ordered on several occasions, each time with very helpful service. I am probably not the easiest person to please but they even ordered in colours which were not available on the site! Very Happy!
