I was very pleased with the product and service I received over a recent purchase. I had difficulty contacting their customer service at first becasue it was a bank holiday and I thought I had missed the boat over my order. But their staff were helpful and guided me through a problem I had. Within a couple of weeks I received my book, beautifully bound and packaged. As I had to do it in a hurry with some inferior photos I was expecting issues but the results were remarkably good and I am very pleased, especially as I had been put off by some poor reviews. Happy to use them again.

Initially apprehensive about using this company having read some online reviews. Completely unjustified in my experience. I’m now creating my tenth online album with Smiley Hippo. All albums have been fabulously produced at a very reasonable cost via Living Social special deals (£15 for 106 pages plus p & p). All have been posted very speedily and exactly as I set them out. When I had a query about my first album their customer service was also very helpful. Can’t fault them at all.

Satisfied with the standard of service. Very disappointed with the photobook. Cover looks great...the rest of the images look very poorly printed, dull and streaky. Wish I'd paid more with another company instead of looking for cheaper option.

Just received the photo book ... great work great value for money ..has made a fantastic present

Placed my order for a desk calendar after purchasing a wowcher on 24th October, according to the delivery information the item should have been delivered no later than 9 working days later - this should have been 6th November. Nothing received by 16th November so I called to chase, was told would be dealt ASAP.

Today 21 WORKING days after my order was placed I have had an e-mail to say it has been dispatched, I emailed back thanking them for this and requested the delivery charge be refunded after such a poor service, no refund was agreed and no kind of compensation was offered.

Would not use again, back to Vistaprint who I ordered desk calendars from last year and had superb service from

I bought a deal on Living Social and when I ran out of time Smiley Hippo extended it. I then experienced problems with my internet and got into a real pickle with ordering my book. The customer service I received was excellent. I was called back when I left messages and finally a very patient man (Steve?) guided me through the final stages of ordering. I received my book within a week and it is beautiful.

Bought a photo book with them using Living Social voucher, was using it to create our wedding album. The quality is amazing, the delivery time was reasonable. The only issue I had was with the agent on the online chat, clueless and unhelpful - but polite. Can't really fault the album itself, everyone who has seen it has commented on how lovely it is. And I am just about to purchase another for my MIL.

Purchased the 106 page photobook on wowcher for my new baby pictures. I ran out of time on my voucher so messaged them, they extended the period not once but twice. Designing the album was time consuming, but then you can do it completely how you like it, and the programme provides lots of beautiful backgrounds and effects. My book arrived today and it is wonderful!! I really couldn't recommmend their customer service, and final product enough! I will definitely be using their services again!!

Good quality although its annoying that there's not many options of page layouts. Also there is no measuring tool or ruler to ensure you have all the photos lined up when you create your own page. Postage cost has also significantly increased which is frustrating.

Fantastic quality and service plus got my book really quick and at a great price!

Bad customer service. Bought my book through a promotion on wowcher. Wanted it done as a present for someone. Sent an email for an update - no answer. Rang numerous times. Got to speak to someone called Mark (quite shocked I got through) he couldn't wait to get me off the phone it was all too much trouble. He just he was sure it was being sent out today I asked if I could increase the postage so I was sure to get it in time. He said there was no point as they all get sent out with good postage. I asked what address it was going to he tutted and so I told him it didn't matter. Still not received my book so really disappointed. Will not use again. Photobox much better, I'd rather pay more and get a good service.

Bought a photobook deal from Living Social.
Loaded photos without problem. Complete book received just a few days later.

Anyone who care for there memories, time and money would never ever consider doing business with this company.
I ordered a photo-book from SmilyHippo (via Wowcher) and had to invest days in creating the photo-book and then uploading it.
To my surprise the photo-book didn't arrive in-time as suggested by the customer care and when asked for update, was asked to follow-up with local Royal mail office (without any postage details shared). When I did contact them, to my horror there was no item awaiting delivery at my address; thus indicating that the photo-book was never shipped. Even after more than 30 days there was no serious update from this company.
I was offered (a prank) another copy of photo-book, reprint and re-delivery, which just like the original order never happened thus at this stage I had to take a stand and cancelled the order, luckily I got my money back. However I feel for my time which I wasted in creating the photo-book with their software and uploading it.
Also be aware, only point of contact for this company is its email address (there is a contact number too however, no one cares to answer that and even if you leave a message no one would call you back YEAH!!)
Customer care is rude and show no empathy to customer's time, efforts and money.
There are many other impressive sellers who are very professional in their services however, Smilyhippo is definitely not one of them.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!!!!!!
