SleePare is a scam house

SleePare is a scam house. You are much better off buying directly from the manufacturer. I purchased a Helix mattress and the sales guys said Helix divides a full money back guarantee. He said that they improve it. After the purchase they send the policy which states you can only replace it once and no money back. Do not purchase through SleePare, order direct from the manufacturer.

Met all my expectations and more.

SleePare's showroom was clean, well-lit, and had great music. The mattress selection was impressive, making it easy to compare brands. The staff was outstanding – helpful, friendly, and patient, allowing us to thoroughly test mattresses. We found a fantastic mattress and are extremely satisfied. I highly recommend SleePare.

Excellent In-Person Mattress Experience

SleePare is an excellent business that encourages their customers to try out the most popular brands of online mattresses before making a purchase, gain an understanding of each brand, and gain a valued price point. If you need deeper insight into understanding proper sleep patterns, comfortability, and contouring, every one of their employees are dedicated to answering every one of your questions and concerns to ensure you are finding the best possible mattress. The best part is the prices are hard to beat, not only do they match every brands’ sales prices and monthly promotions, they even subtly subside the prices to make your purchase worth your while. In short, they have excellent customer service and support if you are ever any problems that needs solving.

Great selection of brands starting with…

Great selection of brands starting with Helix, Winkbed, MLILY, Avocado and etc all under same roof, so you get to try them out side by side. Staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. They did not rush and gave us info on each bed we tried. Highly recommend!

I am really starting to lose my…

I am really starting to lose my patience with this company. I feel like I’m getting the runaround at every step.

I went into SleePare last Saturday specifically to try the WinkBed Luxury Firm. Aidan, the salesman, told me they didn’t have it in stock because he’d sold the floor model, but would be getting another in about 10 days. Instead, he pushed me toward the Helix Midnight, telling me it was “better” and “far superior in every way” (not verbatim, but close).

They did have the WinkBed Blue Series in the store, so I tried both the soft and the firm. I liked the soft much more than the Helix, but at over $3,000 it was way out of my budget. Since they didn’t have the WinkBed Luxury Firm (the one I actually came in for) and Aidan said it would be about 10 days before they got it, I decided to go with the Helix instead — at his urging. Yes, he works on commission — I asked.

The next morning, I called to cancel or at least put my order on hold because I found another store downtown that had the WinkBed Luxury Firm in stock. I went there, tried it, and liked it much more than the Helix — and it was almost $1,000 cheaper. When I called SleePare to cancel, Aidan suddenly told me the WinkBed had “just come in” the day before and insisted I come try it. I even started driving there but halfway decided I was done. I’d already tried the WinkBed elsewhere, I didn’t appreciate being pressured, and I didn’t want to buy from him or SleePare anymore. I told him to just cancel.

From there, I dealt with Bruce in customer service. He said the order was canceled but explained they don’t process refunds to Affirm directly — instead, they require customers to read their credit card information over the phone (including CVV and expiration) so they can send the money to the customer, who then has to pay Affirm themselves. I found that odd and unnecessary — other companies just process the refund.

Bruce told me I’d get my money within 24–72 hours, usually 48. I waited the full 72 — nothing. When I called, I was told Bruce was off and would call me the next day. He didn’t — I had to call him. He claimed he’d speak to accounting and call me later that day. He didn’t. Again, I called him back, and now I’m being told that if accounting can’t set it up today or tomorrow (which would still take 2+ days to receive), they’ll mail me a check — which would take another 5–7 business days.

At one point, a customer service rep even told me to call my bank to check for pending deposits — I did, and of course, nothing was there.

It has now been over 96 hours since I was promised my refund, and 5 days since I started trying to cancel. I can’t speak to how their beds perform long-term, but their customer service is pushy, disorganized, and frustrating. I will never do business here again.

Horrible service - buy from manufacturer directly

Great showroom experience—but a deeply disappointing order process.

While my in-person experience at the Sleepare showroom was excellent, placing my order through them instead of directly through the mattress manufacturer (Helix) was a major mistake. I strongly recommend ordering straight from the manufacturer’s website.

Sleepare misinformed me that I could select a delayed shipping date. When I followed up near that date, I was shocked to learn that they had only just placed the order with Helix—something I could have done myself weeks earlier. It became clear that Sleepare acts more like a middleman than a true retailer.

Customer service has been chaotic and unreliable. I’ve received inconsistent answers from different representatives, and they’ve failed to respond to multiple emails (four sent over the last four days, none answered). Phone support is polite but ultimately unhelpful—representatives make assurances they don’t follow through on. One agent told me they’d contact Helix right after our call and send me an update by the end of the day. The next day, I spoke with the same person who admitted they hadn’t even reached out.

As of today, I’ve been without a mattress for nearly a week after my move, with zero clarity on when it will arrive.

Truly poor service. Do yourself a favor—buy directly from the manufacturer.

AVOID Sleepare – Horrendous Customer Service and Misleading Practices!I had an absolutely miserable…

I had an absolutely miserable experience with Sleepare after purchasing a Helix Elite mattress and motorized base for over $3,000. The company claims to offer a 100-day trial, but when I encountered issues and discomfort, their customer service turned non-existent, leaving me in agony and completely disregarded.

After a little over a month of sleeping on the mattress, I requested an exchange due to discomfort. Sleepare sent me two boxes, which I assumed included a mattress and a topper. To my dismay, only toppers were included. The original mattress was taken away, leaving me with NO proper mattress for TWO WEEKS, forcing me to sleep on an air mattress that gave me severe back and neck pain.

In the middle of this nightmare, I decided to cancel the exchange and return everything. I filled out the return form, but Sleepare ignored my cancellation request entirely. Despite my physical suffering, they carried on with their horrendous service, offering zero empathy or action to address the situation. Eventually, I received the replacement mattress, which was also uncomfortable and worsened my back pain.

When I tried to return the new mattress, I was shockingly informed that because I had exchanged the mattress, I was no longer eligible for a return. No one explained this policy beforehand – and I find this practice not only unethical but possibly illegal! The company’s shady policy trapped me into keeping a mattress that causes physical pain.

I reached out to the company’s manager at the email provided by customer service (nigora at sleepare.com) and – surprise, surprise – no response whatsoever! This shows how little Sleepare cares about its customers once they have your money.

My experience with Sleepare has been an utter disaster. Their customer service is abysmal, their communication non-existent, and their policies misleading. I am now stuck with an expensive, painful mattress and have endured weeks of suffering due to their gross incompetence.

If you care about your health and sanity, I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Sleepare. This company’s negligence, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction make them one of the worst businesses I’ve ever dealt with. Save yourself the headache, back pain, and frustration – buy your mattress elsewhere!

Phenomenal Customer Service

The customer service for this company is phenomenal especially because of Bruce. Any time I had an issue with anything, he was very responsive and always came through. The team really does do their best to get you what you need and go out of their way to help you even if it’s not what they usually do. I would buy from them again because of my experience with their customer service

Really bad after-sale service at SleePare

Be careful with who you select to work with! SleePare's after-sale service was really disappointing. We ordered a Helix Luxus Midnight mattress along with the White Glove Service for delivery and setup. However, the delivery went wrong and the mattress randomly showed up in front of our door without any pre-scheduling. We were rushed to home and called multiple places to arrange the setup service ourselves which we already paid for. SleePare Custom Service apologized for the bad service and promised to refund the money (please note that their White Glove Service was much more expensive than other stores). Then we found out that mattress we received was defective and the seam was open so they had to deliver the replacement to us. Sleepare told us that we won't get the refund any more because of the second delivery needed due to the mattress defect. Furthermore, they couldn't keep their promise on the second delivery. No one showed up for the scheduled delivery and no one was responsive no matter we called, texted or left message. Bottleline, once the purchase was made, SleePare was so bad on the after-sale service. We had really bad experience with Sleepare.

I agree with the other terrible…

I agree with the other terrible reviews. There is NO customer service. The matress was promised and not delivered for weeks. When it came the frame was incorrect and again it was promised but didn't arrive. Nobody there cares about your experience. Do not buy from this awful company.

There are working people who lie into your face!!!
I don't even know where to start.
Me and my wife decided to purchase a new mattress because our beautyrest wore out and I was getting numb arms and shoulders during the sleep.
We purchased Mlily mattress for 3 k in Manhattan sleepare store and were told that we can return it or exchange and in the end we would have to pay $100 pick you fee. The first purchase went smoothly. Girl whose name is Fazy was nice and knowledgeable.
When we came to make an exchange, Fazy was not in the store, but a girl whose name is Karla.
In the beginning she looked like it was her first day of work, what ever we asked she wasn't sure or did not know. First thing I asked her if we would make an exchange, would we be able to return the second mattress as well? She said she thinks so, but went to make a call. After she came , she assured us, we can return the second mattress but would have to pay $100 pick up fee.
We waited another 4 weeks when our second mattress came. What a joke, it was total different mattress, not what I showed to the girl. I contacted them, they agreed that someone of the customers switched the labels. Ok, they ordered ones again, now the one I tried in store. It came. After sleeping first night I knew I have to return it. It was a Luuf mattress. It has a thick pillow top and it traps heat inside and has very bad pressure point relief, so I wake up hot through the night and my arms were getting numb, so I had to rotate. In addition I woke up with back pain, what I did not have even with my old mattress.
And here again I'm on the search for a new mattress.
Me and my wife stayed one night in a hotel, it had the best mattress I ever slept on. I called the hotel asking what was the brand. It was serta.
Knowing that i have 100 days for my luuf mattress, I ordered a new mattress from serta.com. after 60 days sleeping on Luuf mattress I contacted Sleepare in advance, saying I'm expecting a new mattress next month so would like to do a return. They told me contact them couple day before it comes, and that I need to fill out a form.

When the time came I contacted them, they send me a form, I filled it out and sent it back. 4 days no response. I called, they told me they will take a look.
Then they ask a weird question: is that your first mattress or an exchange one? I answered: guys, you have everything in your computer and the form that I sent to you back has all the answers.
They answered, unfortunately you can not return the second mattress.
What the ....
They said go to our website and read terms and conditions.
And guess what, it has really that policy.
But when I purchased the mattress nobody gave me to read any policy or terms and conditions, otherwise they clearly lied to me saying I would be able to return it. I would never buy something I would not be able to return in case it doesn't fit me or I don't like it, especially such thing as an mattress.
Their boss called me saying we can not go against their policies. When I told him about Karla, and what she told me, he was like: no, she would never do that, did they really?

If you really want a good mattress, search somewhere else. Not in this store. Now I stuck with an expensive mattress that is like a crap.
Would never think that such companies exist especially in Manhattan. 😡

When I told that guy, who claimed to be the owner of the company that I would bring the mattress to their store, he told me, even if you do that, you will not receive your money.
I told him I would make complains, he said, do what ever you want. 😡

So it's your decision to have such a headache or not.
