Slapiton Reviews 

3 orders placed over 8 months, service has got progressively better. First order took over 10 days to despatch but when contacted they apologised and let me know they’d since been despatched. 2nd order was despatched a day after being placed. 3rd took a couple of days to ship out. All in all I’m quite satisfied, product was the cheapest I could find in UK and it’s sent by a tracked service mail service. Let’s hope the improvement continues.

Asked for item replacement as was unusable never got a reply and when I chased it my email got returned first time and when finally managed to get through got a reply that it's too late to return for a refund. Disappointing. Wasted my money and will be avoiding from now on.

I thought id give them a 2nd chance even though they botched up my first order. Again they claimed the item was in stock and ready for immediate despatch. 8 days later and still nothing, tried calling them over the last 3 days but no answer.

A reputable company would reply to Trustpilot reviews but no sign of that here.

Update 15/3/18
They have now replied a year later with an apology and a claim they have sent a discount code which they haven’t. This was after reporting my review to Trustpilot with a claim that my review was false and that I hadn’t actually ordered anything. Strange how they are now able to see the logs after I was able to prove to Trustpilot that my order was genuine.

I don’t believe they managed to find a paper copy of the invoice because it wasn’t on their computer but they were still able to check their logs from a year ago and know their website was inaccurate on a particular day. Here is what I got from Trustpilot. It certainly sounds like an accusation to me

No doubt Slapiton are just trying to cover up the numerous negative reviews from the past.

First time for me using this site. Nothing but good things to say about the whole process. Very good customer service, no problems with website and great items packed properly. Will use again. Thank you Sophie

I am Cornish so sometimes we do things differently as in when I ordered by price and THEN read the reviews..... my heart sank but too late order had been accepted.BUT the order was acknowledged, despatch was confirmed and a day later the goods arrived! One item was short so I rang ,spoke to a lovely lady who promised replacement right away...this the arrived two days later. Excellent service and yes I shall be ordering again WELL DONE!

I ordered from Slapiton, and though it arrived in time for Christmas, it was the wrong item. However, on phoning them, I received a friendly and helpful reply, and over a busy period (probably manic) my payment was refunded and I was able to post back the wrongly delivered item for free. Yes, I too rung them and did not get through - but then Christmas is so busy that I think it's worth giving a company credit for that fact, and especially when they kindly sort out things when needed.

Received an abrupt email to my query that I noticed that I had ordered the wrong alternative to a soap in a case, and instead had ordered the soap on a rope. The reason for this was that there was a problem at checkout with paypal so I tried a couple of times and then paid with my debit card. I must have picked the wrong window to return to place my order, where I'd been looking at the alternatives. I emailed back to see if I could exchange for the item I wanted, but had no response. Phoned slapiton to ask for exchange but CS op abrupt and unhelpful. Received the item but won't bother to return it - I won't bother to order from Slapiton.tv again either.

Update: July 2017. Slapiton have contacted Trustpilot to have my review removed as they say it is fabricated! Take a look at the other comments and judge for yourselves! The cheek of them!

Update 10th August 2017: In response to the comments from Slapiton.tv below. First, I did not suggest that the email I received via Trustpilot asking me to verify my transaction was impolite. Second, I really must dispute that you say that you offered me a replacement item at no cost and that I refused. Had this been the case, I would have gladly accepted and applauded your customer service. The truth is very different. Your CS operator was as described - abrupt and unhelpful. Your energies would be better used improving your customer service rather than publicly calling out customers for giving an honest review of their experience with your company. Look at the number of negative reviews and then tell me I'm lying!

Update 10th August. Reported Slapiton.tv to Trustpilot for harassment.
Update 12 August. Yet another email from Slapiton.tv who don't know when to shut up.They haven't done themselves any favours here at all. Potential customers beware!

I often use this website for posting gifts to relatives that live in Scotland and Cornwall. I am happy with the prices and the quality of the goods and have never been disappointed on delivery time.

Ordered three weeks ago, had an email to say the item dispatched 8 days later. Started chasing a few days ago, finally got through after many attempts as they don't answer the phones. They said they would email me but no email so back to phoning but no answer. Bought with them before and they are a bit cheaper, but always been very slow to deliver. Not worth saving a few quid because when you have an issue they have no customer service, not even answering the phone. I will not be buying from them again, my advice is to spend a bit more with a reputable company who will deliver promptly, and if you have an issue will actually sort.

Bought some perfume on monday received it today in perfect condition. The samples were a nice bonus. In fact I really liked the skincream sample and I rang to ask a couple of questions about suitability. The girl who answered was polite and knowledgeable. I would recommend them.

This is my second time purchasing from Slapiton.tv and again, like the first time, it was a positive experience. Good price, quick delivery, even sent me some free samples. Lovely surprise. As long as they continue with this service, I shall be purchasing from them.

I ordered from Slapiton.TV without reading any reviews as I was drawn by the cheap prices. I was concerned when I hadn't received my parcel after a week. However, I did find that the company politely replied to my emails and, while I didn't get a reason for the delay, they did not take the money out of my account. Today, I received my parcel (2 weeks after placing the order) BUT they have only taken the payment today (July 4th). I would use the company again.

Firstly let me say I dont work for, have no financial interest in or know anyone that is employed by Slapiton.
I have just received an order for deodorant I placed last week and advised 2 days ago that it was on its way. I made a similar purchase at the end of last year which arrived immediately at that time.
I write this merely to indicate to other shoppers that it appears some items are stocked and delivered as per their web site. Clearly with the number of complaints on this site Slapiton need to get a grip of their admin somewhere, but in my case I have no complaints !.

Lovely online and in-store experience. Friendly and informative service. Goods arrived quickly and on great condition. Keep up the good work. ☺

Have just found this business as they stock some hard to find Guerlain perfumes. The girl on the phone was friendly knowledgeable and helpful and although they do not telephone orders (which I would have preferred) they do use paypal. The site is easy to use and the prices are very good. I received a dispatch email within 48 hours of ordering and it arrived in perfect condition within 48 hours. Keep up the good work.

Ordered on Saturday and it arrived today. I was really impressed. I also received ALOT of skincare samples, which will be brilliant as I have really bad eczema and so does baby. Thank you Slapiton and keep up the good work :). I will order again!

Ordered 7 weeks ago .Six weeks ago they said they had posted the goods.Nothing arrived ,They don't answer the phone or answer any e-mails.
From my experience I would I recommend you do not buy from them.

I have had a reply from Trust Pilot saying they are them claiming they spoke to me on numerous occasions.
This is just a downright lie as I have never spoken to them ever

As the title says, now and again you can have a problem with something not being shipped on time, but for the price I suppose you can't really complain because in the end it does turn up.

I ordered an item on 16th Dec and was advised it was dispatched on 17th. To date i have not received item so I send email via website, first one ignored so send another, they reply saying item is in process of being returned to them, they offer to send another but say item is out of stock but can send Tues 5th, item is in stock on website, apparently website is wrong and now replacement cant be sent until 12th. Seems as though they make up the excuses as they go along. Have now cancelled and asked for my money back, lets hope i get it. To date they have been unable to provide proof of posting or the tracking number!
