Slapiton Reviews 

An order I placed on 14/06 was supposedly despatched the same day. Nine days later it hadn't arrived. They claimed it was being returned to them as it couldn't be delivered, but they agreed to re-send. Ten days later it still hadn't arrived & they didn't respond to two emails. Raised a formal complaint with Paypal, following which they claimed it had been at the delivery office awaiting collection, but declined to say which delivery office, or why no card had been left. They then claimed to have requested delivery within 48 hours. Parcel arrived the next day, but using the tracking number, I discovered that it had only been posted the previous day!

If only I’d read the reviews before ordering! My order totalling over £70 had not arrived after 8 days. After emailing the company I received a reply saying tracking showed that my order was being returned by Royal Mail as it was damaged. I never received any tracking info so could not check if this was the case. I was assured my order would be redispatched immediately but after another 10 days it has still not arrived and my emails are being ignored. This is now in the hands of PayPal but meanwhile I am out of pocket to the sum of £72. This is obviously a company that is unreliable at best if not downright dishonest. Goodness knows where the 5 star reviews came from, but I have my own thoughts on that. Avoid at all costs. The prices may seem competitive but that is no good if your item is never sent.

Top service. Everything went smoothly. I ordered from Denmark and had the parcel delivered at My hotel during our stay in London. Can only recommend Slapiton.

Slapiton! I ordered my product which was cheaper than other website’s. I was told I would receive my product on the given date which it was! I would recommend this company to others! I also will continue to purchase from slapiton!

Despite initial issues were eventually helpful and apologized for mistake.

Terrible service. Ordered a birthday present which should have been dispatched within 3 days and delivered within 7. On 3 separate occasions I called them to find out what was happening and 3 times they told me the order had been sent out, which it hadn’t. It was only dispatched 12 days after ordering. I can see that from the tracking info! I will not use them again purely down to he fact they repeatedly lied about the status of the order.

Top products, excellent service and free postage - what more could you ask for from an online retailer. Love these guys - have used them for years and they have never ever failed on an order. Highly recommend.

I'd give this company a big fat '0 Star' but unable to do that here so has to be a '1' star - which I resent giving them.
Absolutely dreadful service - actually, NO service.
They never respond to emails; never answer the phone.
Don't be taken in by the website saying that an item is in stock (because it probably is not) OR take any notice of their contact page that actually states .. "Slapiton are here to help" and then lists contact info - not sure why they've bothered doing that when they have no intention of offering any help whatsoever.

Although initially I was not happy as I could not contact slapiton as their phone was not answered - the items all arrived safely before Christmas and they were cheaper than in the high street shops. Guerlain Shalimar

I have had a positive experience from Slapiton, as when I thought they had taken my money first, they explained that the item was not in stock.

I don't think the item I ordered has ever been in stock since but I will order with them again if I need some perfume.

Have ordered from them 3 times now. Even though I order the same item it always arrives in a few days without any problems.

Still the cheapest uk supplier, even though I'd like to see them offer quantity discounts.

TOTALLY USELESS, TIME WASTING, COMPANY. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I checked reviews before ordering. They were mixed but I gave them a chance. BIG MISTAKE!
Told item was dispatched...didn't arrive. Then told (like others) it was stuck at the sorting office and they'd get back to me. They didn't and my emails were then ignored. Nobody ever answers the phone there. PayPal dispute opened. Lots of time wasted. probably the worst company I've dealt with.
As for people who've had no problems, then good luck to them - my experience was identical to most of the others who gave poor reviews. Awful. Fobbed off and then ignored.
AVOID.

Excellent first class online transaction from Slapiton. Read a couple of negative reviews about Slapiton and, why, I don't know. My experience as a customer has been extremely positive. I sent an email out of hours and received an answer the next day from Sophie, she checked my order number and sent me an email the very next day informing me of dispatch and delivery. It was spot on. Slapiton has a very impressive shop in Newark and a very professional website. Delighted with my order and will definitely use them again.
