Excellent service for my online order

I ordered online on Tuesday morning some Assos bib shorts at a competitive price, with free standard delivery. I received a ‘dispatched’ email about 2 hours later and the shorts arrived well packaged at my home in S England around lunchtime the next day. Excellent service from Slane Cycles - and Royal Mail.

Item received in good time

Item received in good time. As this item is a gift I can't comment on the product.
The only negative was the fact I didn't receive an order confirmation e mail or any correspondence from Slanes at all.

Problems quickly resolved

This would have been a 5 star review if Trust Pilot had not 'jumped the gun' and were asking me to comment on an unfulfilled order, giving the impression that the order had been lost somewhere when it was only delayed a little in the christmas post.
Slane Cycles reacted promptly in assuring me that the package would arrive soon, and it did.

Your order was received on Friday evening 29/11/24 4 hours after last collection of the week from Royal Mail.

We despatched your order on the first available Royal Mail collection using a tracked 48hr service which was Monday 2nd, tracking details below were emailed.

02/12/2024 14:55:40 Despatched -Your parcel has been dispatched with Royal Mail. You can track your parcel online at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item with this tracking number:JC 1570 3656 6GB

1 x Ridgeback Replaceable Hanger Type 3 (0 to follow).



I just checked tracking and it looks as though parcel was delayed a day at Royal Mail hub but it is now showing that your Ridgeback Derailleur Hanger has arrived at Jubilee MC and on its way to your local delivery office so should be with you tomorrow.
