I ordered a bag. Order was confirmed via email, and charged to my card briefly before being reversed. I received a second email informing me that the order was cancelled. No explanation given. I called customer support and all they could tell me was that the order was cancelled, because they can -- at their discretion -- refuse to provide service, terminate accounts, etc. You know, just like literally any business on the planet could do, but most businesses don't arbitrarily refuse service without some sort of reasonable communication.
After waiting on hold, I was transferred to a second customer service agent who told me that he "wasn't able to give me any other information."
There was no way to escalate to a manager. This was a really frustrating experience. I wouldn't shop here even if I could (apparently I can't, since it looks like they've also suspended my account for whatever mysterious reason that they won't explain at all.) It makes me wonder if this is even a real store, but who knows.
I strongly urge anybody reading this not to bother wasting your time setting up an account, adding your shipping details and payment information, since their customer service was wildly unhelpful. 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Terrible experience over all.
Update - they don’t seem to mind sending me promotional emails, despite cancelling my order and my account without explanation as previously described. Super annoying.
I have responded to the TrustPilot request for more information. Will provide further updates if anything comes of it.

Really surprised at the super fast shipping from US to UK (4days from order confirmation to delivery). Ordered Clare V bags (sold out models) and got them discounted in Labour Day sales and with free shipping. Even with the taxes/duty paid upfront it worked out cheaper than buying directly from the UK shop due to exchange rate and (£400 per bag vs £250) I paid.
I was a bit dubious about purchasing from Shopbop with the many negative reviews but the products are genuine and in faultless condition. I think they only stock a few items of each model and I love that you can find sold out older models if you’re lucky.

Honestly I was super impressed with the delivery time to Australia but that's where the positives end.
My item did not match the website description - pants a different length to that stated - and the customer services person told me that the length was specific to a certain size and because I had purchased a different size it would obviously be different! Erm, there is nothing obvious about that! So they are telling me that the bigger waist you have the taller you would be?!! On top of this, on each of 5 emails I'm told I am welcome to return and I will be refunded according to the return policy, with no actual resolve of my query regarding my items which did match the item description.
Customer service is absolutely horrendous - treating the customer like they are fools. I even stated that the designer themselves only have 2 length available in these pants and absolutely do not vary with waist size, to which again I was told can return and I will be refunded according to the returns policy.
I asked for my query and request to be escalated to the next level of management numerous times and yet again I got the you are welcome to return and you will be refunded according to refund policy!
I know my consumer rights as a purchaser from an online retailer. If a purchase does not meet the description, it is misleading a customer for the intent of taking money from them and it is false advertising. All illegal. It should not cost me money to return such a product.
Don't be fooled by a response telling you to respond to their email as though they are going to fix any of the complaints on this page. I see no messages saying that their issue was resolved in a positive way by shopbop. Again, it is treating their customer like they are an idiot.
So frustrating - save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people and purchase from elsewhere. It will cost you!

I returned the items that didn't fit in size. It arrived at the Shopbop.com warehouse on July 28. according to their rules, money is refunded within 5 days. Still have not received the refund from them. I write an email every day. Sometimes they answer that they will return soon, sometimes they don't answer at all. they completely ignore. I placed an order with Shopbop yesterday, and they promptly confirmed my order via email. However, just a few hours later, I received a message stating that my order had been cancelled because it "did not pass the preliminary inspection criteria."
To make matters worse, when I tried to access my Shopbop account, I found that it had been completely disabled. I have no idea why my order was cancelled or why my account was deactivated, and the limited information provided in their email was completely unhelpful.
Searching other reviews, it seems I'm not the only customer who has experienced this problematic order cancellation and account deactivation process with Shopbop. It's unacceptable that a reputable retailer would handle customer orders and accounts in such an opaque and unsatisfactory manner.
I am extremely disappointed with Shopbop's handling of this situation. They provided no clear explanation, offered no opportunity to rectify the issue, and essentially shut me out of my account without warning. I ordered a backpack and after a few hours I recieved an email saying that "after review of my account" they decided to cancel my order. The customer service is horrible, as I recieve the same automated message every time I asked for clarification. This website is a waste of time

Honestly, after my purschase I decided to read all the reviews and I got kinda scared.
Everything went well. The order arrived pretty fast actually.
It took 10 days from America to Portugal.
The problem was the price I paid for the taxes... almost 100€, but rest of the experience was ok.
I can confirm this is a legit website.

My purchase cost me 250$ more than it should have & I was unable to cancel the purchase after I ordered the item the extra costs only appeared after I paid ! I could have purchased the exact same item from Saks5th avenue ! For $250 less ! Too make maters worse I had to return the item because the size was wrong & when I received my refund they then deducted an extra 45$ for return postage ! I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Shopbop that has left me thoroughly disappointed. I placed an order for a dress for my brother's wedding, only to find out that my order was canceled without any notification or explanation. To make matters worse, my account was disabled, preventing me from accessing any information or tracking my refund.
Despite reaching out to their customer service multiple times, I received no clear explanation for the cancellation. Even more alarming, my refund has not been processed, leaving me without the funds needed to purchase another dress for this important event.
I understand that Shopbop reserves the right to cancel orders and disable accounts, but failing to inform customers and not processing refunds promptly is unacceptable and, frankly, seems legally questionable. This experience has caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience, and I am now considering seeking legal counsel to resolve this issue.
I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from Shopbop to think twice. Their lack of communication and poor customer service is not worth the hassle. Customers deserve transparency and timely resolutions, neither of which I received in this case.

Bought a dress for my GF for our anniversary, my purchase went through and received a confirmation email. After a week, I decided to check website to see if the order was shipped. I couldn’t login due to suspicious activity, and contacted support in hopes of getting an explanation. They said my order was cancelled and my account was blocked for no reason. Spoke with my bank and they are telling me the money has gone through. This website is a scam website, stay away.

I ordered a dress from Shopbop. It is sent, 3 days after dispatch, before it has arrived I receive an email from Shopbop advising me it is being returned to the sender (Shopbop) with no explanation as to why. I receive a second email advising me I have been issued a gift certificate to the value of the dress. Shopbop's assumption that I would wish to receive a store credit instead of a refund is very bad customer service. I send an email asking why the dress is no longer being sent, and a request for a refund. The refund is provided (why did I have to ask?) and my question about why the dress being sent back is completely ignored. I will not rely upon them sending items in the future. Shopbop contacted to me to offer to re-purchase the item at the sale price. I did this, within 2 days the same thing happened, I received an email advising the item is being sent back and a credit note issued. I now have multiple currency charges on my credit card and multiple emails between myself and Shopbop trying to sort this out. Shopbop are now refusing to provide a refund and forcing me to accept a store credit even though I never received the dress. Terrible customer service.

I found a dress I liked, which was a steal. I was weary at first because all of the reviews, but I went for it. It arrived in 3 days, even though I live half-way around the world. Its perfect ❤️ I do want to note that you need to know your tax laws. My package wasn’t taxed as it didn’t meet the minimum amount.

Don't bother trying to order from Shopbop, it's a waste of time. I initially chose some clothes and asked my brother to place an order for me. On the delivery day, he found he couldn't log into his account. Customer support informed him that he was permanently banned and that Shopbop would no longer serve him, without providing any reason. I then asked my brother's girlfriend to place an order, but the same thing happened to her account. The next day, I decided to place an order myself over the phone with an operator, but an hour later, my order was canceled, and my account was blocked. Customer support refused to explain. It's disgraceful that Amazon owns this company.

I like the products at Shopbop, But I don't like the import fee's I am paying. For example, if I buy from Marc Jacobs online or Skims, I don't have to pay duties on any of the items. Shopbop import fee's are quite excessive they are over a quarter of what the item's cost is. So if the total comes to just under $400 you are paying $70 for import fees? I can get a better deal in England from Selfridges. Duties are already included in the prices.

I recently purchased a Louis Vuitton bag from Shopbop, an Amazon company. I paid $1500 for the What Goes Around Comes Around bag. Given the price and the company's reputation, I expected an authentic, high-quality product. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of appalling.
Upon receiving the bag, I immediately noticed several issues. The leather had visible rips and tears, and glue marks were evident in multiple places. The quality was far from what one would expect from a genuine Louis Vuitton item. After closer inspection, it became clear that the bag was a fake.
