I’ve been using Sharesub for over a year
I’ve been using Sharesub for a while now to share spare places on my Microsoft 365 Family and YouTube Premium Family subscriptions, and it’s been a really positive experience. The platform is easy to use, payments are handled automatically, and it’s helped reduce the cost of subscriptions that I was already paying for anyway.
Finding people to join was straightforward, and once everything was set up, it pretty much ran itself. I’ve never had any issues with payments or the people joining my groups. The site feels secure, and customer support has been helpful when I’ve had questions.
If you’ve got family subscription slots going unused and want to offset some of the cost, I’d definitely recommend giving Sharesub a try. It’s been a simple and hassle-free way to save money.

is notreally a friendly UI for users and for share-users. Maybe work well with an app!? ... notify is not really immediatly. User can enter or leave subscription, and you don't know anything until control the site. chat/problems and more may be better with a dedicated chat or instrument... That integrated is not really good. Anyway experience is very good. I love this webapp

Very happy so far
As someone who shares a Duolingo subscription I have been very happy with the process so far. My subscription works out way cheaper for me and the people who joined to share are respectful and communicative enough so that the whole process was easy. I recently received my first payment so overall I am very happy and would highly recommend to anyone considering sharing a Duolingo subscription. I feel less sure about sharing a Microsoft subscription but I need to look more into the security implications to be reassured.

Overall very good - small QOL changes would be nice
My experience with this website so far has only been from a provider of a subscription so i can't talk for the other side. Contact with people that join my subscription is generally easy but could be made better.
People leaving/New people joining is not super transparent. Also most of the time i had to explain the process to new people joining my sub. There's an FAQ but most people don't read it. Sharesub should also directly show me the joiners E-Mail directly when the join my youtube premium program and give me a field with proof of adding them. This would eliminate 90% of my troubles.
Payment is usually on time.

Regarding the visibility of members joining and leaving your subscription, an email notification is automatically sent whenever someone joins or leaves your share, so that you're kept informed of any changes. In addition, the joining process is explained directly to co-subscribers in their "Joined Subscriptions" section.
To make communication easier, co-subscribers also have the option to provide their email address. When they do, it is displayed directly in the subscription owner's account, making it easier to get in touch and add them to the relevant service.
That said, your suggestions regarding greater transparency and a dedicated proof-of-addition field are very valuable. Feedback like yours helps us identify areas where we can further improve the experience for subscription owners.

I joined a subscription that would give me
“Instant access” to a service. I was wrong. After a few messages back and forth with the subscription owner, I figured out it was a scammer. Lots of different emails and passwords given, but got nowhere.
Luckily I put in a claim (actually three claims) and got my money back, but from reading others reviews this seems quite common and I am one of the few who got their money back.
Poor customer support, mainly an AI chatbot.
I wouldn’t recommend Sharesub at all, as it seems they have little to no vetoing of who is able to set up a subscription.
