Dealing with Bev Rawlings was quick, simple and straight forward

Following a product safety recall on their kettles, Zwilling outsourced the administration of claims and processing of refunds to Sedgwick. The handling of the claims processing by Sedgwick has been dismal. I promptly provided all the necessary evidence and my claim has been approved. However, I am still waiting to receive the refund. Sedgwick stated a timescale of 3 weeks to process refund. It is now 6 weeks and still no refund has materialised. Sedgwick have admitted that, due to the number of customers impacted, there are delays and confirmed that mine is not an isolated case. I’ve spoken to customer service today and there is no sense of urgency to resolve the issue. I do appreciate that Mina was polite and sympathetic, and did provide an apology.
Given Sedgwick have failed to process a straighforward refund on a product recall, I would not have faith in their ability to process more complex insurance claims. Based on my experience, if I was a company considering using the services of Sedgwick, I’d think twice. Just look at how many 1* ratings Zwilling have received in the past month due to customers’ frustration at not receiving refunds.
Update 21 May 2026: still no refund processed. I spoke to Neena who was helpful but it was bad news as the timescale for processing refunds has now increased from 3 weeks to up to 8 weeks. The previous email stating “to be completed within the next few working days” was erroneous. Neena expressed that this is the nature of product recalls and you have to accept that they are slow. In my view this is a languid and unacceptable attitude for a company to adopt. I've had car insurance claims processed faster than this - and that includes the time taken for the repair.

Absolutely shocking. Ceiling collapsed more than two months ago and not a single word from them despite us providing all the requested quotes on time. Shocking company. The Customer Service is absolutely abysmal. Can’t even get to speak to a human being. Left on phone line hanging for more than 30 minutes each time only to be cut off.

Not having to wait for someone to answer and speaking to a human and not an AI

We had an insurance claim on our property and Sedgwick were appointed to deal with it. Initially we had a problem with the Loss Adjustor who really did not provide any service at all. However, when this was pointed out to Sedgwick, they acted promptly and appointed another Loss Adjustor, Linda Cole who has been excellent. Alongside her assistant, Kieran Browne, they have provided a service second to none. They are both very professional, efficient, courteous with a friendly approach. We cannot praise them highly enough. Our heartfelt thanks to the both of them.

I can’t recommend Sedgwick highly enough! What a fantastic job they did looking after me and my mum from start to finish. Great communication. Always kept informed of what was going on at all times. Nothing was too much trouble everytime I picked up the phone to them. A special thank you to Jody and Claire! You really are diamonds. Thank you so much for everything you did for me and my mum

Excellent efficient service.
Once the claim was logged, a claims advisor was quickly assigned to our case, a visit to our home by the loss adjuster was organised and settlement of the claim followed swiftly. Could not fault the process in any way.

They don’t understand structural issues. The close claims before investigation. They contradict facts
I had to pay for my own investigation report to prove my Structal situation and still they choice to ignore and investigate properly. They are not reliable and basically there to close claims without fixing no solution to the problem just close that’s it

The only concern that I have was how long it took for a plumber to attend the emergency call I made. I registered the report by telephone call at 07.10hrs approx with my insurance company. I was told by Sedgwick that someone would be attending by 1pm. No one had attended by 1.30 so I had to contact Sedgwick for an eta. Was told them it would be 2.30 - a plumber eventually attended at 3.15pm approx. Water was still coming through the ceiling and lighting which I explained on my call.
