We are a small company and decided to start insuring our larger bulk orders after a couple of freeze dried fruit boxes went missing in transit.
It's very quick and easy to set up the insurance each time, and I've now had the experience of having to put a claim in for another missing box. The document uploading process is quite straight forward and they paid out quickly for the difference (I managed to claim a little back from the delivery company). Will be continuing to insure our parcels with them.
Been using Secursus regularly for the past 2-3 years to insure watches I ship. The process to insure is made very quick and easy. So far I did not require them to cover a loss yet so can not speak to that at this time.

The website is user friendly and it's great to be able to buy insurance at a reasonable cost.

Very easy to insure a package, literally in 2 minutes. At the same time is an affordable service. Fortunately i did not have to claim so far.

I have a small cabinet making business that makes glass fronted cabinets. As all of the couriers will not insure this type of item for delivery, I have being insuring my parcels with Secursus. I had a problem recently with a cabinet that was damaged in transit and Securus handled my claim. They are thorough and professional whilst being approachable and fair. I am using them again.

Secursus made the claim process easy to navigate and complete. The whole process to completion took approx 14 days.

I have been using Secursus for a long time and recently had the pleasure of claiming when Royal Mail lost a parcel. Overall good experience, I provided them with the required evidence and they provided me with the amount I had insured the parcel for. Rates are very good compared with carriers directly, although I only insure Royal Mail parcels with them as they don't cover items dropped off at parcel shops. The only negative point was the amount of time it took them to get back to me after I submitted all evidence and I had to prompt them to look at the case. However, they always reply to emails extremly fast and the same day I promoted them regarding the completed submission they agreed to pay out.

We've been insuring antiques and fragile items through Secursus for over 3 years. We unfortunately had to make a claim for an expensive Meissen piece which UPS "lost" en route from UK to USA. Secursus paid the claim today. Okay, the claim process is a bit demanding and time-consuming, but Secursus are the only company I have found who will insure antiques or fragile items. You must read and follow their Terms & Conditions and remember to take photos of the item and of all stages of the packaging process (particularly important in claims for damage). Marie was very helpful and we recommend this company, who will insure items that no couriers or other UK company will.

I discovered this company when I realised that for years I've been posting items through different companies that hadn't actually offered cover for items I was posting. Evri lost one of my parcels recently and Secursus paid out thank you. I have now posted lots of parcels valued from £40-£5000 and feel confident during their delivery due to well priced insurance cover.

I sell furniture and home decorations.
Unfortunately, damage in transit happens again and again, so it's good to have a partner who doesn't unnecessarily lengthen the damage process.
For this reason I give it 5 stars and say thanks again to the SECURSUS team for the quick handling of the transport damage in the USA.

The process was quite long and confusing and you have to make sure you take photos of everything as you will need all the info if you claim, However they did answer questions promptly and did pay the claim. It is the only company I found to insure fragile items.

A few hoops to jump through but paid out promptly enough. I have no worries about using them for my business again .

I have been insuring through Securus for quite a while but had my first claim after UPS lost a package. The amount of paperwork needed is a little exhaustive when the package has been confirmed lost by the courier company but once we got past that, the claim process was handled very efficiently by Marie. I would certainly not hesitate to use again in the future.
Very disappointing service.
After 2 positive experiences with Secursus they have lost all of our trust by refusing payment and not adhering to their own Terms & Conditions.
We are now having to take the case to the Financial Ombudsman and relay Secursus T&C's and clarify why our claim is valid.
In short, our delivery failed due to the negligence of the courier. We didn't buy postage with a signature, however this is irrelevant according to their Terms:
8.2. The requirements relating to the shipping methods
The goods or Packages must shipped over to the Recipient against the Recipient's signature. The shipping label must be attached to the Package with full contact details of the Recipient including first name, last name, phone number, full address, zipcode, city, and country. If the Recipient or the sender agrees with the Carrier that the Delivery of the goods or the Package be delivered without signature, to a third party, in his/her (or their) absence, in his/her (or their) mailbox or in any other place, it stops being covered by the Parcel Insurance. If the negligence comes from the Carrier, the Parcel Insurance still applies.
Note. IF THE NEGLIGENCE COMES FROM THE CARRIER, THE PARCEL INSURANCE STILL APPLIES.
Secursus, don't agree that a 24hr tracked delivery that was inevitably delivered to the wrong address after 23 days was negligent.
Absolutely ridiculous and now a complete waste of our time due to the case having to being sent to FOS for a fair review.

Superb service, had a package go missing after sending by royal mail (suspected stolen)- it was a macbook pro, so not a cheap item at all. Secursus were very helpful, Many thanks to Marie and the team.
I use Secursus regularly for high-value items & find them to be much cheaper than other insurance co's - I found myself having to claim for a damaged guitar recently & Marie was very professional, guiding me through the claims process & issuing my claim payment in a very timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 10/10

I have used secursus but never had the need to do anything else than to insure a parcel.
Unfortunately, in one of those shipments I had an issue (they lost the parcel).
The situation with the courier (DHL Parcel) was an absolute mess, they would give contradictory opinions and status.
Secursus did an extra effort to try to understand the situation and in the end everything worked out. For me it was absolutely amazing!

I shipped a rather valuable package from the UK to USA - and whilst the package did arrive quickly, it had been completely destroyed by the courier company and the contents ruined. I had insured the package with secursus and I did eventually receive a full refund for the insured amount - make sure you read and understand all the terms and conditions and all the packaging requirements - and take pleanty of photographic evidence of the contents and packaging before and after sending etc.
I will most definitely be using their services in the future!

I have used the company several times to insure specific packages, site is very easy to use, instructions for any follow up are very clear, will use again and highly recommend.
